  • Publication number: 20220276020
Abstract: Improvements in a more efficient use of air in a projectile launcher is disclosed. The launcher uses a two-stage air gun fire and reset to have a more efficient compressed gas usage because the gas is not wasted by performing simultaneous actions, instead, the motion dedicates a portion of the motion to firing only then transitions a “port” to close and redirect the gasses to “re-cocking” without wasted gasses going out the firing bolt. The air is redirected through a moving port or gate to allow the launcher to continue to perform and “cycle” to the point where there is low pressure in the supply tank. This prevents chopping or shredding of paintballs because the feed port of the projectiles only partially opens. The improvement allows the launcher to reliably feed and fire projectiles down to the point where it is obvious that the tank requires changing.

Abstract: A motorized handheld braiding assembly braids or weaves hair. The hair is selectively retained and carried in three adjacent hair retention heads. The hair retention heads securely fasten, and release the hair through one-handed operation. The hair retention heads are carried along a figure-8 pathway that creates a unique braiding pattern. The hair retention heads are carried on two rotating discs that rotate 360° in opposite directions. A hair clip on each hair retention head is height adjustable to fasten and release the lock of hair. The discs have three equally spaced slots that are radially disposed on an outer perimeter surface. The rotational motion of the discs carries each hair retention head in a revolution while fitted in the slot of the first disc, and then slidably passes each hair retention head on to a slot in the second disc where the rotation continues in the opposite direction.

Abstract: For the shipping industry, these fuels provide solutions to long outstanding technical problems that heretofore hindered supply of low sulfur marine fuels in quantities needed to meet worldwide sulfur reduction goals. Marine shipping use of high sulfur hunker oils is reported as largest source of world-wide transportation SOx emissions. When ships on the open seas burn cheap tow grade heavy bunker oils high in sulfur, nitrogen and metals, the SOx, NOx, and metal oxides go to the environment. This invention converts essentially all of each barrel of crude feed to a single ultraclean fuel versus conventional refining where crude feed is cut into many pieces, and each piece is sent down a separate market path meeting, various different product specifications. When in port, ships can use these fuels to generate and sell electricity to land based electrical grids to offset fuel cost in an environment-friendly manner.
