  • Patent number: 12287131
Abstract: An HVAC system includes a unit cooler, which includes a first evaporator coil, a second evaporator coil, and a blower. The HVAC system further includes a first sensor, a second sensor, a first valve, a second valve, and a controller. The controller actuates the blower to direct air to flow over the first evaporator coil and the second evaporator coil, receives measurements from the first sensor and the second sensor, initiates a defrost cycle for the first evaporator coil by transmitting instructions to close the first valve to prevent the flow of refrigerant into the first evaporator coil, transmits instructions to open the first valve when the defrost cycle for the first evaporator coil has terminated, and initiates a defrost cycle for the second evaporator coil by transmitting instructions to close the second valve to prevent the flow of refrigerant into the second evaporator coil.

  • Patent number: 12286498
Abstract: Polycationic polymeric antimicrobial surfactant and polymeric biocompatible antimicrobial surfactant compositions are useful in dispersing various compounds in a carrier liquid. The polycationic polymeric antimicrobial surfactant and polymeric biocompatible antimicrobial surfactant compositions employ polymers having both hydrophilic domains and hydrophobic domains so that the compositions can disperse particles such as polymer particles or droplets in a continuous phase as well as provide stable dispersions that have not been provided before. The antimicrobial properties of the compositions provide much-needed capabilities of fighting infectious agents such as bacteria and viruses in a wide spectrum of products such as paint, adhesives, and coatings. Methods of using these compositions as well as methods of making products using the compositions are disclosed.

  • Patent number: 12287744
Abstract: System and methods are provided for improved directory enumeration on shared client directories in virtual desktops. A merged I/O request containing multiple expected I/O requests for enumerating a directory can be produced on the virtual desktop. The merged I/O request can be conveyed to the client device and a merged I/O response containing multiple I/O responses to the expected I/O requests can be received from the client device. The received I/O responses can be stored in cache memory on the virtual desktop and used to respond to subsequent queries for enumerating the directory on the virtual desktop.

  • Patent number: 12289631
Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure enable mesh network capacity management via network metering using a processor an integrated roofing mesh network node in a mesh network to receive and transmit data packets in the mesh network. Each data packet includes a source address, a destination address, and a payload of data. The processor determines passthrough traffic including a subset of data packets routed between radio nodes of the mesh network through the gateway based on the source address and the destination address of each data packet and an address associated with the gateway. The processor determines a passthrough data capacity based on the payload of each data packet in the subset and determines a metric based on the passthrough data capacity to signify an amount of mesh network bandwidth provided by the integrated roofing mesh network node.

  • Patent number: 12289199
Abstract: A network environment includes a message-processing resource that receives a communication originated by a communication device and transmitted from the communication device over a wireless communication link. By way of non-limiting example, the communication can be a request for retrieval of content from server resource disposed in the network environment. The message-processing resource processes the communication transmitted over the wireless communication link to identify a network address assigned to the communication device. The message-processing resource maps the network address to corresponding status information associated with the communication device.

  • Patent number: 12287653
Abstract: A vehicle wash component at a vehicle wash location includes a processor for controlling an operational status of the vehicle wash component, an actuator communicatively coupled to the processor and configured to operate the vehicle wash component, and a power source electrically coupled to the processor and the actuator. The processor receives a signal from a car wash controller located at the vehicle wash location, the signal for commanding control of the vehicle wash component, and upon receipt of the signal, the processor interprets the signal, generates a separate signal, and transmits the generated signal to the actuator. The actuator receives the signal from the processor for controlling the operational status of the vehicle wash component based thereon. The power source provides power to the actuator for operating the vehicle wash component based on the operational status of the vehicle wash component.

  • Patent number: 12289508
Abstract: A detachable camera assembly is securable to a cooking tool by means of magnets on a lower surface. The housing is offset from the cooking tool by the magnets and a shroud extends between a camera opening and the cooking tool with a seal at the end of the shroud. A fan draws air into the housing and expels part of the air through the shroud. A part of the air also flows through openings for allowing light to exit the housing from LEDs mounted within the housing.
