Abstract: An anchor attachment detection sensor for a vehicle including an anchor including an anchor attachment loop bar; a slide mount defining an opening, wherein the slide mount is positioned aft of the anchor attachment loop bar; a slide positioned in the opening of the slide mount, a plate secured to a first end of the slide, a spring, wherein the spring biases the plate against the anchor attachment loop bar; and a sensing device configured to transmit a control signal having a value, wherein the value of the control signal is based on a displacement of a portion of the slide.

Abstract: The present utility model discloses a two wheel electric motorized cycle frame incorporating a case-free battery, including a frame main body with a battery containment framework disposed on the frame main body. The battery is contained by the battery containment framework. At least one side of the framework is removable to facilitate replacing the battery, and partition boards are inserted in the framework to separate out a protective cavity for electrical connections. According to the present utility model, the battery is placed in the battery containment framework, so that a battery case is omitted. The battery is safely fixed in the framework, and one side of the framework is removable to facilitate replacing the battery.
Abstract: A roof integrated photovoltaic system includes a starter bar having a foot base and configured to be installed to a roof deck, a plurality of water shedding layers, and a photovoltaic module. One of the plurality of water shedding layers is configured to be installed over the foot base of the starter bar, and one of another of which is configured to overlap and be installed over the one of the plurality of water shedding layers. The system further includes a foot module configured to be attached to an upper portion of the photovoltaic module. A lower portion of the photovoltaic module is configured to align with the foot base of the starter bar, and the foot module is configured to be affixed on a last overlapping layer of the plurality of water shedding layers to the roof deck.

Abstract: Message failures due to noise and interference cause unnecessary delays and reduction in reliability in wireless networks. To detect, localize, and correct transmission faults in 5G and 6G networks, the receiver can measure the “modulation quality” of each message resource element modulated in PAM (pulse-amplitude modulation), according to how closely the amplitudes of the in-phase and quad-phase signal branches match the amplitude levels of the modulation scheme. If the message is faulted, the receiver can re-assign each message element with poor modulation quality to the adjacent states, or if necessary to each state in the modulation scheme, and may thereby find the correct message value in many cases. When implemented, message fault mitigation as disclosed herein can resolve message failures, improve communication reliability, reduce latency, and improve network operations overall, according to some embodiments.
Abstract: A smart desk and chair includes a desk having at least one lift arm that is expandable and retractable for adjusting the height of a desk surface and a chair having a sensor included inside a chair seat where the sensor detects the presence or absence of a user seated in the chair. A controller in the desk controls the position of the at least one lift arm in the desk. The desk and chair are connected wirelessly enabling the desk surface to be automatically raised or lowered in relation to the floor depending on the standing or seated position of the user.

Abstract: A wireless mobile device is used to control an HVAC temperature setpoint in a police vehicle containing a police dog. A wireless signal specifying a commanded temperature setting is checked to prevent malicious adjustments by a hacker. The commanded temperature setting is rejected when it is outside a predetermined range between an absolute minimum and an absolute maximum. When an outside ambient temperature is below a cold-day threshold, then the commanded temperature setting is rejected when it requests a temperature decrease. When the outside ambient temperature is above a hot-day threshold, then the commanded temperature setting is rejected when it requests a temperature increase. Otherwise, when the commanded temperature setting is not rejected as being outside the predetermined range, as being a decrease when below the cold-day threshold, or as being an increase when above the hot-day threshold, then the temperature setpoint is set to match the commanded setting.
