  • Patent number: 11394800
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed herein for obtaining data about a network having at least a first node and a second node. A server transmits to the first node a request for the first node to send a communication to the second node. The server is outside of the network. The server receives, from the first node, an indication of whether the communication to the second node is successful. The server receives, from the first node, a second request for access to a file stored on the server, determines that the second file has been previously accessed at the second node, and instructs the first node to obtain the second file from the second node.

  • Patent number: 11395048
Abstract: A method and system for adding overtly human-perceptible supplemental audio content into a media stream to help mask audio effects of an audio watermark in the media stream. A method involves receiving a media stream that defines a sequence of audio content presentable by a content presentation device, modifying the media stream to produce a modified media stream that defines the sequence of audio content, and outputting the modified media stream for presentation by the content presentation device. The modified media stream includes an audio watermark that is machine-detectable to trigger an interactive event. Further, the act of modifying the media stream involves adding into the media stream supplemental audio content coincident with the audio watermark, to help mask the audio watermark in the modified media stream during presentation of the modified media stream by the content presentation device.

  • Patent number: 11395135
Abstract: A wireless data message in 5G/6G generally includes the destination address (such as MAC address) encoded in a field of the data message. A base station must receive the data message and decode the address before the core network can deliver the message to the recipient's cell. For faster communication, certain address messages are disclosed, by which the destination address may be disclosed before the data message is uploaded. Early disclosure of the destination address may enable the core network to deliver the data message to the recipient with fewer delays. In various configurations, the destination address may be provided concurrently with a scheduling request, or combined with a BSR (size) message, or delivered on a random access channel, among other possibilities. For faster uploads, a pointer or code representing the destination address can be specified, resulting in further delay reductions.

  • Patent number: 11395303
Abstract: The wireless device receives one or more radio resource control messages comprising configuration parameters of a cell. The configuration parameters indicate: a first set of transmission time intervals configured for a first control resource set (coreset) group of the cell; a first transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state of the first coreset group; a second set of transmission time intervals configured for a second coreset group of the cell; and a second TCI state of a second coreset group. A first downlink control information (DCI) comprising an assignment of a resource of the cell is received. A TCI state for the resource is selected, based on which of the first set of transmission time intervals or the second set of transmission time intervals overlaps in time with the resource, one of: the first TCI state; or the second TCI state. Based on the TCI state, data is received via the resource.

  • Patent number: 11394694
Abstract: A system for obscuring a source IP address of a source network device from a destination network device comprises a proxy manager and first and second disposable network proxies. Credentials for a plurality of disposable network proxies are provided to the source network device. A proxy disposal trigger is generated for each disposable network proxy in the plurality of disposable network proxies based on usage of the disposable network proxy. A connection request comprising the credentials and a destination IP address of the destination network device is received from the source network device. First traffic from the source network device to the destination network device is forwarded over a first connection with the destination network device that uses an IP address of the disposable network proxy. Second traffic from the destination network device to the source network device is forwarded over a second network connection with the source network device.

  • Patent number: 11394895
Abstract: A system, method, and computer program product for generating a digital image. The method comprises receiving a shutter release command and causing a camera module to sample a first image of a photographic scene based on a first set of sampling parameters in response to the shutter release command. Next, the first image within an image set is stored and a camera module is caused to sample a second image of the photographic scene based on a second set of sampling parameters in response to the shutter release command. Additionally, the second image within the image set is stored, and a strobe intensity value is specified based on a measured exposure for images in the image set. Lastly, a strobe unit is configured based on the strobe intensity value, and in response to configuring the strobe unit, the camera module is caused to sample a final image.

  • Patent number: 11391105
Abstract: A method and system for downhole pulse generation determines an optimal frequency and, in some embodiments, amplitude of axial pressure pulses to maximize the rate of penetration. Specifically, one or more sensors may be disposed on or near an axial oscillation tool that provides near real-time raw sensor data relating to speed, velocity, and acceleration of the tool. With this sensor data, an optimal set of parameters, namely an optimal frequency and, in some embodiments, amplitude may be determined based on the hydraulic conditions and frictional forces of the actual drilling environment. An optimizing control system may directly communicate these parameters to the axial oscillation tool or pass the parameters to an axial oscillation tool control system that controls the operation of the tool. Advantageously, frictional forces may be substantially reduced, the rate of penetration may be substantially enhanced, and power consumption may be intelligently managed.

  • Patent number: 11392387
Abstract: Predicting load-based control independent (CI), register data independent (DI) (CIRDI) instructions as CI memory data dependent (DD) (CIMDD) instructions for replay in speculative misprediction recovery in a processor. The processor predicts if a source of a load-based CIRDI instruction will be forwarded by a store-based instruction (i.e. “store-forwarded”). If a load-based CIRDI instruction is predicted as store-forwarded, the load-based CIRDI instruction is considered a CIMDD instruction and is replayed in misprediction recovery. If a load-based CIRDI instruction is not predicted as store-forwarded, the processor considers such load-based CIRDI instruction as a pending load-based CIRDI instruction. If this pending load-based CIRDI instruction is determined in execution to be store-forwarded, the instruction pipeline is flushed and the pending load-based CIRDI instruction is also replayed in misprediction recovery.

  • Patent number: 11393163
Abstract: Method for remote clothing selection includes determination of anthropometric dimensional parameters of a user, automatic assessment of correspondence of a garment to the shape and body measurements of a user, determination and provision of recommendations to a user on the selection of a particular garment and, optionally, visualization of a garment on a digital avatar of this user in the virtual fitting room, including optional change of his/her pose. The invention provides an increase in the efficiency of remote clothing selection by a user, an improvement in user's experience of remote purchase, an increase in user satisfaction and, ultimately, an increase in online sales of clothing and a decrease in the proportion of clothing returned after a purchase due to unsatisfactory matching to the shape and measurements of user's body.

  • Patent number: 11390255
Abstract: The present invention discloses a turntable for the rotation of automobiles, other motor vehicles, and displays. The turntable includes base arc and centering segments, arm and deck segments. The deck segment receives a vehicle. The turntable includes a center hub connecting the deck segments. The center hub comprises a center plate. The turntable includes rotating arms extending from the center plate. The turntable comprises a gear segment connected to the arms. The gear segment connects to a drive shaft via a worm gear. The turntable includes a motor connecting the drive shaft. The motor engages the drive shaft causing the gear to rotate, which in turn rotates the gear segment. Rotation of the gear segment causes the arms to rotate with support from the roller assemblies. Rotation of the arms rotates the center hub, which in turn rotates the deck segments with the vehicle.

  • Patent number: 11392928
Abstract: Disclosed herein is a method for enabling gift card recipients to redeem gift card amounts using existing payment accounts. A system identifies a giver and recipient of a gift card amount and associated accounts. A policy is established which governs how the gift card is redeemed, such as a specific merchant or item. When a purchase is made using an existing credit/debit card according to the policy, the system intercepts the purchase and causes the gift card amount to be applied from an account other than the recipient account. No special codes, separate physical gift cards, or printable coupons are necessary for redemption. The recipient makes purchases using their normal purchasing credit/debit card via a qualifying purchase according to the policy, and the gift card is applied automatically. The recipient credit/debit card becomes a combination of an open-looped card and a closed-loop card. Thus, no money is wasted or lost.
