  • Patent number: 11392695
Abstract: There is disclosed in one example a computer-implemented anti-ransomware method, including: selecting a file for inspection; assigning the file to a type class according to a file type identifier; receiving an expected byte correlation for the type class; computing, according to a byte distribution of the file, a byte correlation for the file; comparing, via statistical analysis, the byte correlation to the expected byte correlation; and determining that the file has been compromised, including determining that the file has a byte correlation that deviates from the expected byte correlation by more than a threshold, taking a ransomware remediation action for the file.

  • Patent number: 11391899
Abstract: A pluggable optical module may include a substrate. The pluggable optical module may include a compressible sliding thermal interface disposed on the substrate to contact a riding heatsink. The compressible sliding thermal interface material may be compressed to fill interstices between a first surface of the substrate and a second surface of the riding heatsink. The compressible sliding thermal interface may protrude from the first surface of the substrate such that insertion of the pluggable optical module into a cage compresses the compressible sliding thermal interface to achieve a threshold thermal boundary resistance.

  • Patent number: 11391904
Abstract: A holographic sight comprises a unitary optical component carrier having a plurality of receptacles for receiving optical components. A collimating optic abuts a surface of a first receptacle. A mirror abuts a surface of a second receptacle. A collar is positioned in a third receptacle and a laser diode is positioned within the collar. A first portion of the collar is affixed relative to a first portion of the third receptacle and a second portion of the collar is free to expand and contract relative to the third receptacle. The laser diode is affixed to the collar proximate the second portion and is free to move relative to the third receptacle with expansion and contraction of the second portion. The laser diode, the mirror, and the collimating optic are positioned relative to each other to create an optical path. The collar expands and contracts in response to changes in temperature to compensate for the unitary optical component carrier expanding and contracting in response to changes in temperature.
