  • Patent number: 11353250
Abstract: An unconventional oil separator includes a vertical design. Generally, a refrigerant enters the vertical oil separator and spins downwards. The oil separator includes plates within the oil separator that either maintain the spin of the refrigerant or reverse the spin of the refrigerant, which causes oil in the refrigerant to separate from the refrigerant. A vertical outlet allows refrigerant that spins towards the bottom of the oil separator to travel back towards the top and out of the oil separator. Separated oil is collected at the bottom of the oil separator.

  • Patent number: 11354756
Abstract: An endorsement application can allow a user to endorse a product on a social network website when the product is purchased at a physical merchant point of sale terminal. Users of social network websites have been given the opportunity to endorse products that they have located or purchased online, but purchasers of products in person have not had that opportunity. The endorsement application can operate on a user's mobile device and can recognize a product purchased through near field or other communication using the mobile device. The application can isolate the product identification and product marketing data supplied by the point of sale terminal or other source and offer the user the opportunity to endorse the product on a social network website. If the user endorses the product, the application sends the endorsement to the user's account on the social network website for display to the user's community.

  • Patent number: 11354402
Abstract: Environment type validation can provide a tamper-resistant validation of the computing environment within which the environment type validation is being performed. Such information can then be utilized to perform policy management, which can include omitting verifications in order to facilitate the sharing of policy, such as application licenses, from a host computing environment into a container virtual computing environment. The environment type validation can perform multiple checks, including verification of the encryption infrastructure of the computing environment, verification of code integrity mechanisms of that computing environment, checks for the presence of functionality evidencing a hypervisor, checks for the presence or absence of predetermined system drivers, or other like operating system components or functionality, checks for the activation or deactivation of resource management stacks, and checks for the presence or absence of predetermined values in firmware.

  • Patent number: 11355433
Abstract: A semiconductor device having a fuse structure includes a region of semiconductor material having a major surface. A dielectric region is over the major surface. A first fuse terminal is over a first part of the dielectric region, a second fuse terminal is over a second part of the dielectric region and spaced apart from the first fuse terminal to provide a gap region, and a fuse body over a third part of the dielectric region interposed between and connected to the first fuse terminal and the second fuse terminal. A dummy structure is over the dielectric region in the gap region on a first side of the fuse body, the dummy structure spaced apart and electrically isolated from the fuse body, the first fuse terminal, and the second fuse terminal. The dummy structure is configured to reduce the presence of or reduce the effects of defects, such as cracks or voids that can emanate from the fuse structure.

  • Patent number: 11355916
Abstract: Devices having one primary transistor, or a plurality of primary transistors in parallel, protect electrical circuits from overcurrent conditions. Optionally, the devices have only two terminals and require no auxiliary power to operate. In those devices, the voltage drop across the device provides the electrical energy to power the device. A third or fourth terminal can appear in further devices, allowing additional overcurrent and overvoltage monitoring opportunities. Autocatalytic voltage conversion allows certain devices to rapidly limit or block nascent overcurrents.

  • Patent number: 11356449
Abstract: Systems and methods are disclosed for managing access to vulnerability data in large scale operations, such as by synchronizing access to vulnerability data for active developers who have recently modified source code. For example, source vulnerability scanner (SVS) access may be granted to source code developers identified in a source control management system (SCM) as having made modifications within some recent timeframe, and may further revoke access for stale user accounts. This efficiently implements the information security principle of least privilege, and may easily scale to operations involving hundreds or thousands of active developers and asset owners, and tens of thousands of network assets ? and even larger operations.

  • Patent number: 11354270
Abstract: Systems and methods for searching for hash strings stored in an indexed array are described. A method includes receiving a hash string. The method includes determining a first set of index values for the indexed array that correspond to a first stored value matching a first portion of the hash string and determining a second set of index values for the indexed array that correspond to a second stored value matching a second portion of the hash string if a match between the first stored value and the first portion of the hash string is found. The method includes upon finding a match for the first stored value and the second stored value, comparing the hash string to each of the set of hash strings in the indexed array having an index value common to both the first set of index values and the second set of index values.

  • Patent number: 11354866
Abstract: Systems and methods are provided for generating, selecting, modifying and/or otherwise configuring occluder(s) used in mixed-reality environments. Pose information of a trackable device worn or carried by a user is determined. Based on that pose information, an assumption regarding the user's own pose is determined. An occluder is then configured in a manner to correspond to the assumed pose of the user for use in the mixed-reality environment. By generating the occluder in this manner, improved battery life by the trackable device can be achieved relative to conventional systems that rely entirely on iterative scanning of the user's body to determine body position.
