Providing a cannabis profile blend, melting any cannabis wet extract present in the profile formulation, adding any cannabis dry extracts present in the profile formulation, mixing the dry and wet extracts into a mixture or a mash, grinding any flower present in the profile formulation, and adding any flower to the mixture or mash. Cold or heated extraction methods may also be used in this process.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides compositions and methods for increasing the production of virus in vitro. Modified cells which are modified to eliminate or reduce as compared to a control cell the activity or expression of a Sterile a motif-domain containing protein 9 (SAMD9) polypeptide are provided. Methods of using these cells are also provided.

Abstract: An endoscope with a handle and an insertion shaft. The insertion shaft has solid state illumination and imaging circuitry at or near a tip designed to provide illumination and imaging of a body cavity for a surgeon during surgery. At least a portion of the insertion shaft is flexible or articulated. Controls on the handle permit control of flex or articulation of the insertion shaft to permit direction of illumination and field of view of the imaging circuitry. Control force transfer elements permit a surgeon to direct a direction of the imaging circuitry by transfer of mechanical force directed by a surgeon to the bendable distal portion to cause the bendable portion to bend under the surgeon's control.

Abstract: A slurry is injected into a subject at a treatment site selected from the group consisting of (i) a deep subcutaneous fat layer, (ii) a superficial subcutaneous fat layer, and (iii) the deep subcutaneous fat layer and the superficial subcutaneous fat layer. Fat cells in the selected treatment site are ablated by the slurry. For example, the slurry is injected into (i) the deep subcutaneous fat layer only, (ii) the superficial subcutaneous fat layer only, (iii) the deep subcutaneous fat layer followed by the superficial subcutaneous fat layer, (iv) the superficial subcutaneous fat layer followed by the deep subcutaneous fat layer, or (v) the deep subcutaneous fat layer and the superficial subcutaneous fat layer simultaneously.

Abstract: Intermediaries for a robot and robotic end effector for orthopedic surgery operatively couple a surgical robot to an end effector of such a robot. The intermediaries therefor comprise means to absorb and/or counteract reactionary forces from the end effector (which end effector may, as an example, be a surgical tool) and to reduce forces that would otherwise be imparted on the robot. An intermediary comprises a sleeve of shock-absorbing material that couples the robot and end effector. Another intermediary comprises an isolation connector that provides for an indirect coupling between the robot and the end effector and includes an absorption means for absorption or dispersion of reactionary forces from the end effector.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure relate to a multi-reel skill-based redemption game. An indication of a user desire to participate in the skill-based redemption game is received. The user's account balance is decreased, and simulated reels are spun. Adjustment arrows are displayed for a subset of the plurality of simulated reels. The player selects a simulated reel and a direction of adjustment for the simulated reel. If the player's adjustment creates a winning pattern, the user is rewarded with an increased account balance. The user may also be provided a bonus amount for achieving a number of consecutive wins.

Abstract: Methods of forming and processing semiconductor devices are described. Certain embodiments relate to the formation of self-aligned DRAM capacitors. More particularly, certain embodiments relate to the formation of self-aligned DRAM capacitors utilizing the formation of self-aligned growth pillars. The pillars lead to greater capacitor heights, increase critical dimension uniformity, and self-aligned bottom and top contacts.

Abstract: In a general aspect, a silicon carbide (SiC) metal-oxide-semiconductor field-effect transistor (MOSFET) can include a substrate of a first conductivity type, a drift region of the first conductivity type disposed on the substrate, a spreading layer of the first conductivity type disposed in the drift region, a body region of a second conductivity type disposed in the spreading layer, and a source region of the first conductivity type disposed in the body region. The SiC MOSFET can also include a gate structure that includes a gate oxide layer, an aluminum nitride layer disposed on the gate oxide layer, and a gallium nitride layer of the second conductivity disposed on the aluminum nitride layer.

Network service provisioning to a device includes a mechanism for ensuring that network services are available based upon one or more of appropriate traffic control, billing, and notification policies. Ensuring that the policies are properly enforced on a device is a focus of this paper. The enforcement policies can be on the device or in the network.

Abstract: A method, computer program, and computer system is provided for video coding. Video data comprising a chroma component and a luma component is received. Luma samples are extracted from the luma component of the received video data. The chroma component is filtered based on the extracted luma samples using a cross-component adaptive loop filter (CC-ALF). Coefficients associated with the CC-ALF are constrained to be less than a sum of a bit-depth value associated with the luma samples and a positive offset value.

Abstract: An accessory for a mobile communication device, the mobile communication device having an exterior housing and a processor. The accessory includes a pathogen disinfection apparatus mountable to the exterior housing of the mobile communication device. The pathogen disinfection apparatus includes an ultraviolet (UV) light source configured to emit UV light having a mean peak wavelength between 200-280 nanometers toward a target location to at least partially inactivate pathogens exposed to the emitted UV light in the path of the emitted light and a surface of the target location. Further, the accessory includes an application for downloading to the mobile communication device. The application includes processor executable instructions configured to generate signals to control the pathogen disinfection apparatus, including to operate the UV light source.

The method includes rendering, via a computing device communicatively coupled to a head mounted holographic display device, a virtual target displayed to a user within the holographic display device. The method further includes rendering, via the computing device, at least one virtual light within a field of vision of the user within the holographic display device. The method also includes identifying, via the computing device, whether input was received from the user, wherein the input comprises an indication that the user identified the at least one virtual light. The method further includes generating, via the computing device, a map identifying one or more locations that the user identified the at least one virtual light or did not identify the at least one virtual light.
