  • Patent number: 11205004
Abstract: According to one embodiment, a system receives an intermediate result generated by a compiler based on source code, where the intermediate result includes one or more vulnerability indicators indicating one or more lines of the source code being potentially vulnerable. The system performs a grey box fuzzing on a first executable code generated from the intermediate result to generate a first set of seed inputs. The system calculates a vulnerability score for each of the seed inputs of the first set based on the vulnerability indicators for the lines of the source code reachable but has not been explored by the grey box fuzzing. The system selects one of the seed inputs in the first set having a highest vulnerability score. The system performs a concolic execution using the selected seed input as priority, the concolic execution being performed on a second executable code generated from the intermediate result.

  • Patent number: 11205844
Abstract: An on-vehicle radar system is described, and includes a phased array antenna including a plurality of transmit antennas, and a corresponding plurality of transmitters, wherein each of the transmitters is in communication with a respective one of the transmit antennas. A controller is operatively connected to each of the plurality of transmitters. The controller includes an instruction set that is executable to generate a plurality of Non-Linear Frequency Modulated (NLFM) radar signals corresponding to individual ones of the plurality of transmitters. Each of the NLFM radar signals that is generated for a respective one of the transmitters is determined based upon a desired beam steering angle and a position of the respective one of the transmit antennas of the phased array antenna.

  • Patent number: 11205144
Abstract: The disclosed embodiments provide a system for processing data. During operation, the system obtains a first assessment result related to a first qualification of a candidate. Next, the system filters a set of opportunities based on a first comparison of the first assessment result with qualifications for the opportunities to produce a first subset of opportunities. The system then selects a second qualification associated with some or all of the first subset of opportunities to assess for the candidate. The system also filters the first subset of opportunities based on a second comparison of a second assessment result related to the second qualification of the candidate with additional qualifications for the first subset of opportunities to produce a second subset of opportunities. Finally, the system outputs recommendations related to applying to the second subset of opportunities by the candidate.

  • Patent number: 11206404
Abstract: A video coding system in which video images of a video bitstream are rescaled prior to encoding, and again at the decoder upon reception. When encoding a given video frame, the video encoder deduces a level of resampling to apply to a reference frame in order to properly predict blocks in the given video frame or the full given video frame, and carries out one or more predictions by first applying a resampling process on the reference frame data at the deduced level. To decode the given video frame of the bitstream, a video decoder compares a size of the given video frame to sizes of a reference frame to determine a level of resampling for the reference frame data, and carries out predictions to generate predicted data by first applying the determined level of resampling to the reference frame data.

  • Patent number: 11205504
Abstract: Systems and methods related to the computerized synthesis of simulated health data are provided. A computing device can receive a respective data model constructed from protected health information (PHI) hosted by a respective health data provider. The computing device can create a state transition machine from the received data model, where a state of the state transition machine represents a health related event of a synthetic life. The computing device can generate a synthetic health data set for each synthetic person in a synthetic population by calculating one or more health related events for each time step in the synthetic life. The computing device can calculate a similarity score by comparing the generated synthetic health data set to an actual health data set. The computing device can adjust the received data model based on the score falling below a threshold similarity, thereby creating an adjusted data model.

  • Patent number: 11206505
Abstract: An augmented reality device receives beacon signals within a geographical area from beacons that facilitate determining a distance between the device and a respective beacon. The device sends beacon-related signals indicative of the beacon signals to a server, which determines the area of the device. The server determines markers within the area of the device, and sends marker signals and augmented reality content associated with the markers to the device. The device scans the area and outputs content associated with a marker it identifies based on the marker signals. As the device enters subsequent areas, it receives additional beacon signals from additional beacons, sends additional beacon-related signals, and receives additional marker signals and content. If there is insufficient storage space on the device to store the additional marker signals and content, the device deletes previous marker signals and associated content. The device stores the additional marker signals and content.

  • Patent number: 11205162
Abstract: A method and system are provided to support a decentralized distributed ledger in which transactions are recorded by parties to the transactions without the use of a blockchain. A distributed ledger system provides a protocol framework that supports the development of protocol flows. A protocol flow is computer code that controls the performance of a transaction by the party or parties to the transaction. Protocol flows can be developed for different types of transactions. The distributed ledger system allows transactions to be proposed, accepted, and notarized by a notary and stored without the use of a blockchain ledger. The distributed ledger system can avoid the expense of the computational and storage resources needed to redundantly verify a transaction and store evidence on the many nodes of a blockchain distributed ledger.

  • Patent number: 11206393
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are provided for measuring a display latency. A video capturing device is configured to capture a video of a reference light flash of a light emitter of a computing device. In the same video, the video capturing device is configured to capture a flash of a predetermined image displayed in a reference frame on a display screen coupled to the computing device. The video is analyzed to determine a time difference between the reference light flash of the light emitter and the flash of the predetermined image on the display screen. The determined time difference is compared with a reference time difference to determine a display latency, and the display latency may be provided to a user. In this manner, a display latency may be determined accurately and with readily available hardware, thus reducing the need to rely on expensive and specialized measuring equipment.

  • Patent number: 11206569
Abstract: A wireless device determines a change in a signal quality measurement of a wireless network. In response to the determining, a first message for changing one or more media for a video call in the wireless network is transmitted from the wireless device to a video application function (AF). A policy and charging rules function (PCRF) receives from the video AF, a DIAMETER AA-request (AAR) command for modifying a quality of service (QoS) of the video call. The PCRF transmits to a policy and charging enforcement function (PCEF), a second message comprising an updated QoS, wherein the updated QoS comprises QoS data bearer modification information based on the change in the signal quality measurement of the wireless network. The PCEF implements the updated QoS for the video call.
