  • Patent number: 11203961
Abstract: Methods and systems are provided for emissions control of a vehicle. In one example, an emissions treatment device includes a porous substrate and a catalytic washcoat disposed thereon, the catalytic washcoat having nickel and no other metal. The porous substrate may be configured to filter particulate matter (PM) exiting the vehicle and the catalytic washcoat may be configured to oxidize at least a portion of the PM. The nickel in the catalytic washcoat may provide additional oxygen storage capacity and increased tolerance to sulfur poisoning of catalytic activity of the catalytic washcoat, further promoting PM oxidation. Moreover, because the catalytic washcoat may increase PM oxidation during passive regeneration events, a total number of active regeneration events may be decreased and fuel economy may be maintained.

  • Patent number: 11206393
Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatuses are provided for measuring a display latency. A video capturing device is configured to capture a video of a reference light flash of a light emitter of a computing device. In the same video, the video capturing device is configured to capture a flash of a predetermined image displayed in a reference frame on a display screen coupled to the computing device. The video is analyzed to determine a time difference between the reference light flash of the light emitter and the flash of the predetermined image on the display screen. The determined time difference is compared with a reference time difference to determine a display latency, and the display latency may be provided to a user. In this manner, a display latency may be determined accurately and with readily available hardware, thus reducing the need to rely on expensive and specialized measuring equipment.

  • Patent number: 11206569
Abstract: A wireless device determines a change in a signal quality measurement of a wireless network. In response to the determining, a first message for changing one or more media for a video call in the wireless network is transmitted from the wireless device to a video application function (AF). A policy and charging rules function (PCRF) receives from the video AF, a DIAMETER AA-request (AAR) command for modifying a quality of service (QoS) of the video call. The PCRF transmits to a policy and charging enforcement function (PCEF), a second message comprising an updated QoS, wherein the updated QoS comprises QoS data bearer modification information based on the change in the signal quality measurement of the wireless network. The PCEF implements the updated QoS for the video call.

  • Patent number: 11203879
Abstract: There is disclosed a system for depositing building materials comprising a motor vehicle, a container comprising a material depositing system and at least one device for removing the container from the motor vehicle. The device can comprise one or more outriggers which are adapted to remove the container from the motor vehicle and which can be used to deposit the container on a job site, There is also disclosed a process as well, which includes at least one of the following steps providing a base slab floor; bull floating the base slab floor, inspecting the base slab floor for debris, utilizing a measuring device to survey height dimensions, applying an adhesive intermediary, inserting plastic pins with respect to survey measured points, mixing a self leveling compound, pumping the mixed compound through a conveying system, and smoothing the mixed compound to create a uniform surface and floor which is cured.

  • Patent number: PP33773
Abstract: A new and distinct cultivar of Artemisia hybrid plant named ‘G18123’ is disclosed, characterized by compact, densely branched plants with mounded habits. The densely branching plants produce abundant vegetative terminal cuttings which have been shown to root easily. Foliage is small with shallow apical lobes and strong silver coloration. Plants frequently do not flower in the garden and have exceptional cold tolerance, observed to survive cold temperatures in USDA zone 5, both in the ground and in containers. The new variety is an Artemisia, and is normally used as a garden or container plant.
