Abstract: Embodiments may be generally directed to techniques and systems to detect errors and anomalies in contactless transaction processing. These systems may include transaction cards, point-of-sale (POS) terminals, and transaction processing systems.

Abstract: Reliable feature deployment is provided. Features are evaluated for their readiness to be graduated and features that are ready to be graduated are added to a graduation list. When features are added to the graduation list, evaluation of the features is discontinued, thereby reducing the performance and runtime costs associated with deploying features. Furthermore, engineers can consult the graduation list to identify features that are ready for graduation, thereby reducing the risk of premature flight graduation. Data associated with features is analyzed to map the features to corresponding flights. In this way, when an engineer identifies a feature for graduation, the engineer is able to identify the corresponding flight (or flights) from the mapping. Even when a feature is selected for graduation, the present systems provide additional safeguards to ensure that corresponding flights are not improperly or prematurely graduated, thereby preventing a subpar customer experience.

Abstract: A polarization rotator structure includes: a first core structure formed at a first layer, extending from the first end to a second end, and a second core structure formed at a second layer that is at a different depth than the first layer and formed in proximity to the first core structure. The first core structure and the second core structure provide mode hybridization between at least two orthogonally polarized waveguide modes of the PRS. An optical splitter structure is optically coupled at a first end to the second end of the PRS, and optically coupled at a second end to at least two optical waveguides, and includes: a first core structure that is contiguous with at least one of the first or second core structures of the PRS, and a second core structure that is separate from both of the first and second core structures of the PRS.

Abstract: A mobile CO2 filling system selectively fills onsite CO2 storage and dispensing systems with CO2. The system includes a mobile platform; a tank holding liquid CO2 mounted on the mobile platform; a flexible dispensing hose couple to the tank and configured to be selectively coupled to the filling inlet of an onsite CO2 storage and dispensing system; a pump selectively coupled to the tank; and a controller for controlling the filling of an onsite CO2 storage and dispensing systems with CO2 from the tank, wherein the controller is selectively designated by the user to operate in at least one pump assisted filling state and at least one gravity feed filling state.

Abstract: In various embodiments, a system may be configured to analyze data for a particular consent capture point to identify a change in consent capture rate from the capture point. The system may, for example, be configured to automatically detect that the system has stopped receiving consent records from a particular capture point. In such embodiments, the system may be configured to generate an alert, and transmit the alert to any suitable individual (e.g., privacy team member, IT department member, etc.) regarding the capture point. The system may, for example, enable an entity to identify one or more capture points that may have become non-functional (e.g., as a result of one or more changes to the capture point).

Abstract: A method for training a speech recognition model with a loss function includes receiving an audio signal including a first segment corresponding to audio spoken by a first speaker, a second segment corresponding to audio spoken by a second speaker, and an overlapping region where the first segment overlaps the second segment. The overlapping region includes a known start time and a known end time. The method also includes generating a respective masked audio embedding for each of the first and second speakers. The method also includes applying a masking loss after the known end time to the respective masked audio embedding for the first speaker when the first speaker was speaking prior to the known start time, or applying the masking loss prior to the known start time when the first speaker was speaking after the known end time.

Abstract: This invention is directed toward an aerodynamically designed drone with a unique angle of propulsion. The drone uses airfoil design to move more efficiently through the air, and the aerodynamic design is optimized when the drone is tilted forward at various degrees of “tilt” to provide the most aerodynamic profile to the oncoming air. The invention contemplates single hull, double hull and triple hull designs, and is applicable to heaving lifting drones, drones use for photography and remote sensing, and racing drones.

The method further includes receiving, at the UE device, a request to access a protected application. The method includes comparing, at the UE device, an activity of the UE device with an activity determined from the at least one pattern and a corresponding time data associated with the request to access the protected application. The method further includes determining, at the UE device, a level of authentication necessary to grant access to the protected application based on the comparing.

Abstract: A vertical farming structure having vertical grow towers and associated conveyance mechanisms for moving the vertical grow towers through a controlled environment, while being exposed to controlled lighting, airflow, humidity and nutritional support. The present disclosure describes a reciprocating cam mechanism that provides a cost-efficient mechanism for conveying vertical grow towers in the controlled environment. The reciprocating cam mechanism can be arranged to increase the spacing of the grow towers as they are conveyed through the controlled environment to index the crops growing on the towers. The present disclosure also describes an irrigation system that provides aqueous nutrient solution to the grow towers.

Abstract: A system and method of creating a shape-conforming lattice structure for a part formed via additive manufacturing. The method includes receiving a computer model of the part and generating a finite element mesh. A lattice structure including a number of lattice cellular components may also be generated. Some of the mesh elements of the finite element mesh may be deformed so that the finite element mesh conforms to the overall shape of the part. The lattice structure may then be deformed so that the lattice structure has a cellular periodicity corresponding to the finite elements of the finite element mesh. In this way, the part retains the benefits of its overall shape and the benefits of lattice features without introducing structural weak points, directional stresses, and other structural deficiencies.
