Abstract: A rolling tarp deployment system includes a trailer, a bulkhead fixed to the trailer, first and second bows movable along the trailer, first and second tensioning assemblies, and a cover. The first tensioning assembly has a first member secured to the first bow, a second member secured to the bulkhead, and a first actuator configured to engage the first and second members to restrain the first bow to the bulkhead. The second tensioning assembly has a third member secured to the second bow, a fourth member fixed to the trailer, and a second actuator configured to engage the third and fourth members and move the second bow away from the bulkhead. The cover is tensioned when both the first and second members and the third and fourth members are engaged.

Abstract: Implementations of a semiconductor device may include a semiconductor die comprising a first largest planar surface, a second largest planar surface and a thickness between the first largest planar surface and the second largest planar surface; and a temporary die support structure coupled to one of the first largest planar surface, the second largest planar surface, the thickness, or any combination thereof. The thickness may be between 0.1 microns and 125 microns. The warpage of the semiconductor die may be less than 200 microns.

Abstract: A water treatment system for brackish water is disclosed. The water treatment system includes a first electrochemical separation stage fluidly connected to a second, downstream electrochemical separation stage, with the concentrate outlet of the second electrochemical separation stage fluidly connectable to the concentration compartment of the first electrochemical separation stage and a control system configured to regulate feed directed to the concentration compartments of the first and the second electrochemical separation stages. Methods of treating brackish water to produce potable water and methods of treating brackish water using systems of the invention are disclosed. The Donnan potential difference and osmotic water losses are lessened by controlling a source and a flowrate of a make-up feed water directed to concentration compartments of first and the second electrochemical separation stages of the systems.

Abstract: A method and apparatus for encoding or decoding a video sequence includes applying a Cross-Component Linear Model (CCLM) to a video sequence, and applying an interpolation filter in the Cross-Component Linear Model (CCLM), wherein the interpolation filter is dependent upon a YUV format of the video sequence.

Abstract: Various embodiments are generally directed to autofilling card data from a contactless card to a form of a computing device. An application may determine that a payment field of a form has received focus. The application may then receive encrypted data from a communications interface of a contactless card associated with an account. The application may then receive, from a server, verification of the encrypted data. The application may then receive, from the server, an encrypted account number associated with the account, and decrypt the encrypted account number to yield the account number. An autofill service of an operating system (OS) executing on the processor circuit, may then autofill the account number to the payment field of the form.

Abstract: A method of wireless communication may include monitoring, by a first device, a medium for frames in response to preparing to transmit a first frame to a second device. The method may also include while monitoring the medium and before transmitting the first frame, obtaining a second frame transmitted by a third device in the medium and adjusting a transmission of the first frame to the second device in the medium based on obtaining the second frame.

Abstract: A system for obtaining user parameters of e-commerce users to auto complete checkout forms includes one or more processors configured to monitor user interactions of a user with a merchant website on a user device; determine an intent to purchase one or more items based of the monitoring; determine an unfilled template of a checkout form associated with the merchant website based on previously stored website information, wherein the unfilled template of the checkout form comprises a plurality of checkout form fields; determine one or more user parameters associated with the user device; apply a machine learning algorithm to predict a geolocation of the user device based on the one or more user parameters; and auto fill the at least one of the plurality of checkout form fields in the unfilled template of the checkout form based on the predicted geolocation.

Abstract: A method and composition for producing a porous low k dielectric film via chemical vapor deposition includes the steps of: providing a substrate within a reaction chamber; introducing into the reaction chamber gaseous reagents including at least one structure-forming precursor comprising an silacyclic compound, and with or without a porogen; applying energy to the gaseous reagents in the reaction chamber to induce reaction of the gaseous reagents to deposit a preliminary film on the substrate, wherein the preliminary film contains the porogen, and the preliminary film is deposited; and removing from the preliminary film at least a portion of the porogen contained therein and provide the film with pores and a dielectric constant of 3.0 or less. In certain embodiments, the structure-forming precursor further comprises a hardening additive.

Abstract: A non-volatile memory structure capable of storing layers of a deep neural network (DNN) and perform an inferencing operation within the structure is presented. A stack of bonded die pairs is connected by through silicon vias. Each bonded die pair includes a memory die, having one or more memory arrays onto which layers of the neural network are mapped, and a peripheral circuitry die, including the control circuits for performing the convolution or multiplication for the bonded die pair. The multiplications can either be done in-array on the memory die or in-logic on the peripheral circuitry die. The arrays can be formed into columns along the vias, allowing an inferencing operation to be performed by propagating an input up and down the columns, with the output of one level being the input of the subsequent layer.

Abstract: A cyclonic inlet diverter for initiating the separation of a multi-phase inlet fluid flow comprises an enclosed tubular body mounted crosswise within a larger separator vessel. The inlet diverter includes a splitter plate positioned within a center portion of the tubular body and configured to split the inlet flow into a first stream and a second stream, and a swirl plate positioned on each side of the splitter plate with angled surfaces configured to increase the cyclonic motion of the first and second streams within the tubular body. The inlet diverter further includes elongate apertures formed through bottom sidewall portions of the tubular body on each side of the splitter plate, an axial aperture formed through opposing end caps of the tubular body, and at least one radial aperture formed through lateral sidewall portions of the tubular body proximate each opposing end cap.

The encrypted access credentials are configured to allow the requesting computing device to access the remote computing device. The encrypted remote instructions are configured to enable the remote computing device to execute at least one of the following: at least one data query, or at least one data manipulation. The encrypted access credentials are decrypted. The encrypted remote instructions are decrypted. The remote instructions are executed to generate query results. The query results are communicated to the requesting device.

Abstract: Animal leash including an elongate member having a first end region and a second, opposite end region. A clip is arranged at the first end region and attaches to the animal's collar. Two pairs of magnetically coupleable magnets are connected to the member with the first pair including a first magnet at the first end region and a second magnet movable longitudinally along the member and the second pair of magnets including a third magnet movable longitudinally along the member and a fourth magnet at the second end region. The member has an extended, use state in which the magnets of both pairs are not magnetically coupled to one another. The magnets are configured and polarized to enable the magnets of both pairs to be magnetically coupled to one another and provide the member with a coiled state around the animal's neck.

The packages may also include a light block material around the semiconductor package extending from the first side of the semiconductor die to a second side of the optically transmissive lid. The package may include an opening in the light block material on the second side of the optically transmissive lid that substantially corresponds with an active area of the semiconductor die.

Abstract: A personal medical status device attaches to a medical testing kit to receive a test result and status for a medical condition of a user. The personal medical status device authenticates the user to provide the status of the condition using a fingerprint scanner as well as other methods. A clock display provides time related information based on the latest test result. The clock display can show the time from the previous test or time until the next test. A test result display provides a visual indicator of the status of the user without compromising privacy. A proprietary dock allows connection to the medical testing kit while being tamper-proof.

Abstract: A method of making a face shield using a bar tack stitch to join a face shield lens to a backing. The backing may be a headband or the combination of the headband and a cushion. The lens and the optional cushion may be joined together and then the lens may be stitched to the cushion and the headband. A bar tack stitch may be used to join the backing and lens together. Stitching the lens to its backing produces a novel face shield with high quality structural integrity that can be made quickly and cost effectively to eliminate limitations associated with bonded face shield lenses and removable joined face shield lenses.

Abstract: Methods and devices for increasing oxygenation levels in the blood supply and thereby treating the condition of hypoxemia. Multiple approaches such as pressure reduction in the pulmonary circulatory system, reducing triggering mechanisms in the main pulmonary artery and restricting flow in the pulmonary circulatory system are disclosed. Interventions associated with those approaches can including shunting, restrictors, compliance devices, pharmacologic substances, etc.

Abstract: Data processing systems and methods, according to various embodiments, are adapted for efficiently processing data to allow for the streamlined assessment of risk ratings for one or more vendors. In various embodiments, the systems/methods may use one or more particular vendor attributes (e.g., as determined from scanning one or more webpages associated with the particular vendor) and the contents of one or more completed privacy templates for the vendor to determine a vendor risk rating for the particular vendor. As a particular example, the system may scan a website associated with the vendor to automatically determine one or more security certifications associated with the vendor and use that information, along with information from a completed privacy template for the vendor, to calculate a vendor risk rating that indicates the risk of doing business with the vendor.
