Abstract: A privacy management system that is adapted for, in the course of processing a particular data subject access request, automatically determining a type of the data subject access request, such as: (1) a request to delete personal data of the requestor that is being stored by a particular organization; (2) a request to provide, to the requestor, personal data of the requestor that is being stored by the particular organization; (3) a request to update personal data of the requestor that is being stored by the particular organization; and (4) a request to opt out of having the particular organization use the requestor's personal information in one or more particular ways. After making this determination, the system may determine, based on the determined type of data subject access request, a particular workflow to follow in authenticating the data subject before fulfilling the data subject access request.

Abstract: A system according to the present disclosure assists utility companies with understanding the potential impact of wet snow and ice accumulations that have the potential to bring down utility infrastructure, such as power lines. The system described herein uses a probabilistic forecast methodology, using weather forecasts as inputs, to develop probable ice and wet-snow accretion predictions and uses those predictions to develop a number of possible events and, in certain embodiments, the events' locations and time of occurrence. The system can provide a probabilistic map of potential impacts to utility lines, thereby giving utility companies the ability to proactively deploy crews before storms arrive.
Abstract: A ladder standoff includes at least one bent plate that is configured to be detachably engaged with at least one ladder rung of a ladder by at least one connection plate that is configured to be detachably connected to the bent plate and to the ladder rung. The ladder standoff may be attached to a ladder and used to secure a ladder to a vertically-extending building wall structure at a selected distance. The length of the ladder standoff can be extended in a substantially horizontal direction in relation to the vertically extending ladder and vertically extending building wall to provide a ladder standoff with variable lengths to accommodate different distances between the ladder and the surface of the vertically extending building wall.
Abstract: The technology disclosed herein provides a method to use a private distributed blockchain to generate a secure encrypted record of authentication attempts for a set of distributed network attached user devices or nodes. In at least one implementation, the method includes initiating a security incident blockchain for a network comprising a plurality nodes, provisioning each the plurality of nodes in the network with a synchronous key wherein a master node has a copy of all of the synchronous keys, adding a configuration transaction to the security incident blockchain, the configuration transaction including security policies for the plurality of nodes in the network, detecting a security incident at one of the plurality of nodes in the network, and in response to the detection of the security incident, performing a security incident response in compliance with the security policies as provided in the configuration transaction.
Abstract: A can seaming apparatus including a frame, a can handling assembly, a can driving assembly and a seaming assembly. The can seaming apparatus is configured to seal a lid to a can through a double seam can seal. The can is positioned and clamped between an upper and a lower chuck. The can driving assembly spins the can and the upper and lower chucks about an axis. The seaming assembly includes two rollers mounted to a roller frame which pivots about an axis relative to the frame. The roller frame can be pivoted so as to selectively have the two rollers sequentially engage the can to form the necessary crimping operations.
Abstract: A system for generating a sustenance plan for managing genetic disorders is disclosed. The system includes a computing device. The computing device is configured to receive an input which may include genetics test data. The computing device is configured to identify a plurality of biological indices of a disease state as a function of the genetics test data. The plurality of biological indices comprises at least one biological index related to a genetic disease state. The computing device is configured to generate a genetic disorder classifier. The computing device is configured to generate a sustenance plan as a function of the positive result. A method for generating a sustenance plan for managing genetic disorders is disclosed.

Abstract: Light Emitting Devices (LEDs) are fabricated on a wafer substrate with one or more thick metal layers that provide structural support to each LED. The streets, or lanes, between individual LEDs do not include this metal, and the wafer can be easily sliced/diced into singulated self-supporting LEDs. Because these devices are self-supporting, a separate support submount is not required. Before singulation, further processes may be applied at the wafer-level; after singulation, these self-supporting LEDs may be picked and placed upon an intermediate substrate for further processing as required. In an embodiment of this invention, protective optical domes are formed over the light emitting devices at the wafer-level or while the light emitting devices are situated on the intermediate substrate.

The business suit includes front facing panels and upper sleeve panels formed of a first facing fabric; and an inner lining formed of a second moisture wicking fabric. The suit may further include exterior back panels or lower sleeve panels formed of the second moisture wicking fabric. The suit may further include a sleeve liner interior to a respective upper sleeve panel and the lower sleeve panel, the sleeve liner formed of a third fabric. In various embodiments, the business suit further includes pants.
