Abstract: The lighting device includes a luminaire, duplex circuitry, a lighting control device to control a light output and operation of a light source in a vicinity of the luminaire, and a sound transducer integrated on a surface of an element of the luminaire. The sound transducer responds to vibrations of the luminaire element to detect incoming audio waves and generates outgoing audio waves in the vicinity of the luminaire. Abstract: A vaporizer cartridge system includes a vaporizer assembly containing a heating element, a mouthpiece that is selectively attachable with the vaporizer assembly, a battery assembly that is selectively attachable with the vaporizer assembly, and a cartridge configured to store liquid in a reservoir, the cartridge being selectively attachable with the vaporizer assembly such that liquid stored within the reservoir is in fluid communication with the vaporizer assembly. Abstract: A fluidic device may include inlet ports, input ports, one or more output ports, fluid channels each configured to route fluid from one of the inlet ports to one of the one or more output ports, and pistons. Abstract: Disclosed is a system and method for providing stable and reliable power to components on the top of a cell tower. The system performs a device discovery process to determine with Power Supply Units are connected to which Remote Radio Heads on the tower. It also provides several ways of characterizing the power cables and input capacitance to the Remote Radio Heads to provide optimal power to the Remote Radio Heads, including situations in which the power demand for the Remote Radio Heads increases, while obviating the need to replace the power cables with those of greater current capacity. Further, the system provides for stable power even in the presence of sensor instabilities and data dropouts.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and apparatus are described providing social networking engines. Specifically, the present specification relates to a method for implementing software containers implementing social network engines that may be configured to act in a zero-knowledge environment. In such implementations, all information pertaining to the social network engine associated with a user that is stored in the container is solely that of a user unless explicitly shared by the user. In some implementations, the containers may be configured to participate in a publish-and-subscribe network in order to share information. In addition, the containers may be provisioned with controls so that global operators may comply with local privacy rules.
Abstract: Various aspects of triggering and controlling workflows are disclosed, where a workflow processes data across a plurality of services by performing a predefined operation using predefined parameters when triggered by a predefined input. Specifically, the various aspects include providing access control for workflows triggered using button sharing, encoding workflows and scanning encoded workflows to trigger workflows, using security badges and access control systems used at workplaces to trigger workflows, and enabling workflows to extract information from mobile devices and using the information for subsequent processing.

Abstract: This disclosure regards a magnetic resonance imaging system including a scanner, and gradient drivers. The scanner is to be implemented within a scan room that is shielded from electromagnetic interference. Gradient coils are designed to create a linear gradient in the magnetic field generated in the scanner by a primary magnet. These coils are energized by gradient drivers. The gradient drivers use transformers and other electrical devices in a switching stage configured to generate pulse-width-modulated power. The transformers may have non-magnetic cores to facilitate implementing the gradient drivers within the scan room. The gradient drivers also use a filtering stage which uses inductors and other electrical devices to smooth the pulse-width-modulated power. The inductors within the filters may have non-magnetic cores to facilitate implementing the gradient driver within the scan room. Additionally, an inductor with a hollow wire may be used to circulate fluid to facilitate cooling the gradient driver.

Abstract: A mounting clamp is disclosed for an illuminated surgical retractor system having a handle that supports an illuminated surgical retractor blade. The mounting clamp is attached to and depends from the handle. The mounting clamp includes a receptacle for receiving a slide bar or other fixed component of an operating room table. The clamp further includes a fastener that is selectively tightened to secure the retractor assembly to the fixed component of the table. The fastener is selectively loosened to disengage the retractor assembly from the fixed component of the table.
Abstract: Various embodiments of the present technology comprise a method and apparatus for an ignition system. In various embodiments, the ignition system activates a soft shutdown of an ignition coil in the event of an over dwell condition. The apparatus comprises a first counter and a second counter that are selectively activated at predetermined events. An output of the second counter controls the value of a reference current that decreases linearly over time and wherein a rate of change of the reference current may be adjusted according to a frequency of a clock signal. In various embodiments, the soft shutdown operates independent of the supply voltage and temperature.
Abstract: Polyether diols characterized by a hydroxyl number of 56 or lower, high average functionality and high primary hydroxyl content are prepared by alkoxylating an unsaturated alcohol in multiple steps to form a polyether monol that contains 39% or more primary hydroxyl groups, and then reacting the polyether monol with a mercaptoalcohol that has a primary hydroxyl group.
