The first web member is positioned relative to the second web member such that the shortest distance between the first web member and second web member is greater than or equal to 5 times the thickness of the third structural member. Abstract: A method, computing system, and one or more computer-readable storage media for operating an active stylus equipped with a stylus capture detection routine. The method includes operating the stylus according to a first communication protocol to enable communication with a first display device. The method also includes detecting a beacon from a second display device operating according to a second communication protocol. The method also includes automatically switching the stylus to the second communication protocol in response to detecting the beacon. The method also includes detecting a stylus capture event indicating that switching the stylus to the second communication protocol was erroneous and is preventing the user from communicating with the first display device and, in response to detecting the stylus capture event, switching the stylus back to the first communication protocol.

The connector body includes a radio frequency identification (RFID) chip having a signal, which is enabled to read through the antenna when the contact point of the antenna contacts the RFID chip of the connector body in the latched position of the verifier.

In accordance with some forms of the disclosure, such devices are configured to automatically calibrate and dynamically adjust the airflow rate through the device in response to one or more sensors.

Abstract: A tooling system is configured to align and assemble a battery module having a plurality of battery cells arranged in a stack. Each battery cell has a flexible electrical terminal arranged along a respective terminal axis, and wherein the terminal axes are parallel to one another. The system includes a tooling fixture defining at least one Y-shape s lit having a V-collector culminating in a slot arranged along a slot axis. Each V-collector is configured to capture the terminals of at least two battery cells. Each slot is configured to group the captured terminals when the slot axis is parallel to the terminal axes and the fixture engages the battery module. The system also includes a mechanism configured to apply a first force to the fixture along the slot axis to engage the battery module with the fixture. The mechanism thereby groups and aligns the captured terminals within the slot.

Abstract: A pessary providing various structures, parts, and components to enable the pessary to remain deployed in a supportive position so that it may reliably provide the desired supportive capabilities. A ridge structure prevents over-rotation of the supportive members. The pessary can be formed preferably by injection molding where the mold has at least one insert. The geometry of the pessary can enable the pessary to have the required stiffness, flexibility, hinged capability, and softness where needed to achieve a pessary that is superior to prior art pessaries.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides techniques for bandwidth constrained communication systems with frequency domain information processing. A bandwidth constrained equalized transport (BCET) communication system can include a transmitter, a communication channel, and a receiver. The transmitter can include a pulse-shaping filter that intentionally introduces memory into a signal in the form of inter-symbol interference, an error control code (ECC) encoder, a multidimensional fast Fourier transform (FFT) processing block and a multidimensional inverse FFT processing block that process the signal in the frequency domain, and a first interleaver. The receiver can include an information-retrieving equalizer, a deinterleaver with an ECC decoder, and a second interleaver joined in an iterative ECC decoding loop.

Abstract: A method and system for marking a workpiece at a marking location by infusing colorant into targeted surface material within a region of the workpiece via laser-induced chemical etching are disclosed. The system includes a laser subsystem for generating a pulsed laser output and a transport subsystem including a medium containing the colorant mounted immediately adjacent the marking location to transfer the colorant to the targeted surface material upon impact by the pulsed laser output. The system also includes a delivery subsystem for irradiating the medium and the targeted surface material with the pulsed laser output to melt the targeted surface material to obtain molten material and to transfer the colorant from the medium to the molten material. The molten material allows the transferred colorant to thermally diffuse into and chemically bond to the molten material. Each laser pulse creates a microtextured colorized spot of material on the workpiece.

A first row of plunger fingers is mounted to the plunger head and moves in one direction to press against and bend one metallic workpiece a predefined bend angle.
