Patent number: 11128817Abstract: Enhanced passthrough images are generated and displayed. A current visibility condition of an environment is determined. Based on the current visibility condition, a first camera or a second camera, which detect light spanning different ranges of illuminance, is selected to generate a passthrough image of the environment. The selected camera is then caused to generate the passthrough image. Additionally, a third camera, which is structured to detect long wave infrared radiation, is caused to generate a thermal image of the environment. Parallax correction is performed by aligning coordinates of the thermal image with corresponding coordinates identified within the passthrough image. Subsequently, the parallax-corrected thermal image is overlaid onto the passthrough image to generate a composite passthrough image, which is then displayed.Type: GrantFiled: November 26, 2019Date of Patent: September 21, 2021Assignee: MICROSOFT TECHNOLOGY LICENSING, LLCInventors: Michael Bleyer, Christopher Douglas Edmonds, Raymond Kirk Price

Patent number: 11124926Abstract: A method for repairing/treating a pavement with the use of a rheologically modifier is disclosed. The method comprises first applying a layer of a rheologically modifier composition comprising a rejuvenating component onto the top surface of the pavement that needs repair, then applying a second layer of an asphaltic binder onto the rheologically modifier layer. The second layer of asphaltic binder effectively seals the rheologically modifier layer with the rejuvenating component for intimate contact with the top pavement surface, thus penetrating the surface layer to extend the life of the pavement surface, arresting the deterioration of visco-elastic properties and restoring some of those properties.Type: GrantFiled: January 30, 2019Date of Patent: September 21, 2021Assignee: Kraton Polymers LLCInventors: Brian Fennell, Martin Thompson, Christopher Holmes

Patent number: 11123581Abstract: The disclosed anti-contagion facemask embodiments are a family of transparent facemasks that do not obstruct visibility of a person's mouth when worn. One problem with a typical, widely used, facemask is the difficulty in understanding a person speaking when they are wearing the typical facemask. Not only does the listener have to contend with the muffled speech of a person talking through a facemask, communication is made worse by covering up, or otherwise hiding the wearer's mouth and face with opaque filter material. Accordingly, some embodiments described herein present a clear/see-through filtration mask embodiment that does not visibly obstruct a person's mouth by providing a filtration system along or near the periphery of the facemask.Type: GrantFiled: December 7, 2020Date of Patent: September 21, 2021Assignee: Sharp Medical Products—Oxygen Face Mask, LLC.Inventors: Chris Salvino, Keir Hart, Kenneth Altshuler
