Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention provide a method, computer program-product, and system for generating predicate-weighted histograms in a database management system. Further, the methods, computer program-products and systems in accordance with the present invention generate histograms that are biased towards the predicate literals of the queries that are submitted to the database management system. The resulting histograms will improve query performance by generating histograms with greater resolution near predicate literals that represent the queries submitted to the database management system.

Abstract: A mounting system for mounting a farm implement to a tractor having a bracket attached to the front of the tractor, the bracket having a forwardly extending portion and an upwardly extending protrusion. The mounting system comprises a farm implement attachment member comprising one or more arms with a connection mechanism adapted to connect to a farm implement; a height adjusting mechanism adapted to adjust the height of the farm implement when connected to the one or more arms of the farm implement attachment member; and a tractor connection mechanism adapted to latch onto a bracket on the front of a tractor, wherein the tractor connection mechanism comprises a connection plate, a top hook extending rearwardly from the connection plate, and a bracket engagement member extending rearwardly from the connection plate, wherein the top hook is configured to hook onto the upwardly extending protrusion of the bracket and wherein the bracket engagement member is configured to engage a bottom of the bracket.

Abstract: A method of operating a cooling system for a vehicle including providing a cooling system including a coolant loop having a coolant valve, a first refrigerant loop having a first compressor and a first chiller configured to exchange heat with the coolant loop, a second refrigerant loop having a second compressor and a second chiller configured to exchange heat with the coolant loop, and a cooling system controller operably coupled to the first compressor, the second compressor, and the coolant valve. The coolant valve is configured to selectively direct or prevent the flow of coolant between the battery and each of the first chiller and the second chiller. The method further includes operating the cooling system in one of a second chiller only mode, a first chiller only mode, an air conditioning (AC) only mode, a first refrigerant loop only mode, and a dual refrigerant loop mode.

The coolant loop includes a proportional valve for directing a coolant from the battery to at least one of a first chiller and a second chiller. The cooling system for a vehicle also includes a first refrigerant loop comprising the first chiller. The first chiller is configured to exchange heat between the first refrigerant loop and the coolant loop. The cooling system for a vehicle also includes a second refrigerant loop comprising the second chiller. Abstract: The present invention relates to seat systems, and more specifically to seat systems suitable for supporting users sitting in a cross-legged or kneeling position during activities such as meditation. Sitting closer to the ground, cross-legged, and/or kneeling enables the brain to easily enter a parasympathetic mode, providing users of the seat system a greater sense of calmness. The Multi-Angle Knee blocks (MAKs) offer a greater level of hip support for users.

Abstract: The disclosure herein relates to ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) rubber. More specifically, the present disclosure relates to fire-resistant EPDM rubber. In one embodiment, the fire-resistant EPDM is a membrane used for weatherproofing buildings. In another embodiment, the fire-resistant EPDM membrane is a roofing material. In other embodiments, the fire-resistant EPDM rubber can be used in the electrical field.

Abstract: A method for improving effectiveness of a steam generator system includes providing a steam generator system including a steam generator vessel, an air supply system and an air preheater. The air supply system is in communication with the steam generator vessel through the air preheater and the steam generator vessel is in communication with the air preheater. The air supply system provides a first amount of air to the air preheater. At least a portion of the first amount of air is provided to the steam generator vessel. A flue gas mixture is discharged from the steam generator vessel. At least a portion of the flue gas mixture flows into the air preheater. SO3 in the flue gas mixture is mitigated before the flue gas mixture enters the air preheater.

Abstract: The current disclosure is directed to an improvement on the exercise ball for rodents and other small animals that are kept as pets. The invention is a spherical enclosure that allows the pet to experience freedom of movement in a safe environment. This polymer plastic sphere allows small rodents to exercise while maintaining rodent health and providing improved ergonomics for the user. The ball consists of multiple parts: a bottom hemisphere, a top hemisphere and a door.

Various implementations form an antenna unit capable of millimeter waveform and/or microwave waveform transmissions. An antenna comprises a conductive plate that includes an aperture. The aperture has a shape that extends along an axis that bisects the aperture into first and second bisected portions, the first bisected portion having a first geometry type, and the second portion having a second geometry type that is a bilateral symmetry shape type of the first geometry type. In implementations, the aperture is configured to radiate waveforms within a frequency range from about between 600 Megahertz (MHz) to 72 Gigahertz (GHz) by applying multiple signal feeds to the conductive plate.

The filter can include a first low pass filter configured to reduce noise of a digital input comprising a measured angular position; a first differentiator configured to receive a filtered digital input and to calculate a speed from a difference in time of the measured angular position and a previous angular position; a second low pass filter configured to reduce noise from the speed; a second differentiator configured to receive a filtered speed and to calculate acceleration using a difference in time of the filtered speed and a previous speed; a third low pass filter configured to reduce noise of the acceleration; and a delay compensator configured to receive the filtered digit input, the filtered speed, and a filtered acceleration, and to calculate a propagation delay compensated digital output.
