Abstract: A secure storage module of a client device interacts with a set of secure storage servers to securely store data items of the client on the servers, such that no individual server has the data in readable (non-obfuscated) form. Additionally, the client secure storage module and the servers interact to allow the client device to read a given portion of the original data items from the servers, such that none of the servers can determine which portion of the original data is being requested. Similarly, the interactions of the client secure storage module and the servers allows the client device to update a given portion of the original data on the servers to a new value, such that none of the servers can determine which portion is being updated and that none of the servers can determine either the prior value or new value or the difference between the new value and the prior value.

Abstract: Determination of material acoustic parameters for a headset is presented herein. A value of a material acoustic parameter is initialized. A simulation is performed using the value of the material acoustic parameter and a model. The model includes a three-dimensional representation of a local area occupied by the headset. During the simulation, the value of the material acoustic parameter is dynamically modified until a reverberation time calculated based on the modified value of the material acoustic parameter falls within a threshold value of a target reverberation time. The model is updated with the modified value of the material acoustic parameter. The model is used to determine one or more acoustic parameters. Audio content is rendered based on the one or more acoustic parameters so that the audio content appears originating from an object in the local area.
Abstract: A non-volatile memory uses phase change memory (PCM) cells in a three dimensional vertical cross-point structure, in which multiple layers of word lines run in a horizontal direction and bit lines run in a vertical direction. The memory cells are located in a recessed region of the word lines and are separated from the bit line by an ovonic threshold switch. A surfactant lining of the word line recess in which the phase change memory material is placed improves stability of the resistance state of the memory cells, allowing for improved multi-state operation.

Abstract: Systems, devices, and methods for aligning a diffractive element in a wearable heads-up display (“WHUD”) are described. A WHUD that includes a projector, a transparent combiner, a WHUD frame, and a diffractive optical element (DOE) embedded in the transparent combiner, requires alignment between the DOE and the eye of the user and/or the projector. A WHUD includes a DOE aligned with an eye of a user when the WHUD is worn on the head of the user. A method of aligning a DOE in a WHUD with an eye of a user when the WHUD is worn on a head of a user includes aligning a first part of the WHUD frame with a first part of the face of the user, and aligning the DOE with a second part of the WHUD frame.

The relay server executes a connection application to establish a connection to a web access server. Abstract: A deep neural network (DNN) processor is configured to execute layer descriptors in layer descriptor lists. The descriptors define instructions for performing a forward pass of a DNN by the DNN processor. The layer descriptors can also be utilized to manage the flow of descriptors through the DNN module. For example, layer descriptors can define dependencies upon other descriptors. Descriptors defining a dependency will not execute until the descriptors upon which they are dependent have completed. Layer descriptors can also define a “fence,” or barrier, function that can be used to prevent the processing of upstream layer descriptors until the processing of all downstream layer descriptors is complete. The fence bit guarantees that there are no other layer descriptors in the DNN processing pipeline before the layer descriptor that has the fence to be asserted is processed.
