Abstract: A memory device includes an alternating stack of insulating layers and electrically conductive layers located over a substrate, and a memory stack structure extending through the alternating stack. The memory stack structure includes a composite charge storage structure, a tunneling dielectric layer, and a vertical semiconductor channel. The composite charge storage structure may include a vertical stack of tubular charge storage material portions including a first charge trapping material located at levels of the electrically conductive layers, and a charge storage layer including a second charge trapping material extending through a plurality of electrically conductive layers of the electrically conductive layers. The first charge trapping material has a higher charge trap density than the second charge trapping material. Alternatively, the composite charge storage material portions may include discrete charge storage elements each containing a silicon nitride portion and a silicon carbide nitride liner.

Abstract: A luminaire assembly includes a frame and a back plate. In some examples, the frame includes a lip, and the back plate includes a tab. The back plate is positionable within a housing area of the frame such that the tab is engaged with the lip and the back plate is retained within the frame. In other examples, a luminaire assembly includes a wireless module with an antenna positioned adjacent to a module opening of the back plate. The antenna provides wireless transmissions above the top side of the back plate and below the bottom side of the back plate. A luminaire support clip for a luminaire assembly includes a base and a tab. The tab and the base define a receiving area, and the luminaire support clip receives a portion of an edge of a back plate of the luminaire assembly within the receiving area.

Abstract: The invention relates to the storage and transportation of liquid products, and specifically to a plastic bottle. The challenge which this invention is designed to address is to increase the performance characteristics of a bottle, i.e. to create a lightweight design of bottle which is easy to manufacture and enables said bottle to be securely attached to items of clothing etc. The challenge in question is addressed by the fact that the plastic bottle, comprising a hollow thin-walled body ending with a neck, and a holder which is designed in the form of an open groove, molded in the body, parallel to the central axis of the bottle and extending for more than half the height of the bottle, is characterized by the fact that the projections of the walls of the groove on the plane, which is perpendicular to the transverse axis of the groove, are in the form of zigzag-shaped lines. Furthermore, each zigzag-shaped line may consist of sections of straight lines and/or sections of curved lines.

Abstract: Exemplary embodiments described in this disclosure are generally directed to systems and methods for reducing anxiety in an occupant of a vehicle. In one exemplary method, a computer that is provided in a vehicle receives from a source such as a server computer, information that is used to determine a behavioral profile of an occupant of the vehicle. The computer utilizes the behavioral profile to identify a behavior characteristic of the occupant. The behavior characteristic is matched by the computer to one of various behavior categories such as an amaxophobia sufferer category or a controlling personality category. The computer then executes one or more operations in the vehicle based on the behavior category to which the occupant belongs. If the occupant belongs to the amaxophobia sufferer category, the computer may, for example, play an audio track, display a video clip, and/or change a driving characteristic of the vehicle.

Abstract: This disclosure provides systems and methods for providing an emergency alert notification. An electronic communication device can receive, from an alert generation device, a low power advertising packet responsive to an action performed on the alert generation device. Before the action is performed, the alert generation device can be in a low power state, such as a sleep state, to conserve battery. The action can cause the alert generation device to transition from the low power state to a second state in which the alert generation device begins transmitting the advertising packet. The electronic communication device can identify at least one emergency contact to receive an alert based on a contact policy and can determine an alert type based on the contact policy. The electronic communication device can generate the alert including a request for assistance and can transmit the alert to the at least one emergency contact.

Abstract: Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving a request to permit equipment of a subscriber of a mobile service provider that provides a subscribed service via a licensed frequency spectrum to access the subscribed service via a wireless access terminal according to an unlicensed frequency spectrum. A radio adapted to provide access to the subscribed service via the licensed frequency spectrum is identified, wherein the wireless access terminal resides within a coverage area of the identified radio. A current utilization of the identified radio is determined and a response to the request is generated according to the current utilization of the identified radio, wherein access to the subscribed service via the wireless access terminal is conditional according to the response to the request, resulting in conditional access. Abstract: Systems and methods to perform image-based three-dimensional (3D) lane detection involve obtaining known 3D points of one or more lane markings in an image including the one or more lane markings. The method includes overlaying a grid of anchor points on the image. Each of the anchor points is a center of i concentric circles. The method also includes generating an i-length vector and setting an indicator value for each of the anchor points based on the known 3D points as part of a training process of a neural network, and using the neural network to obtain 3D points of one or more lane markings in a second image.

Abstract: Provided in some embodiments are systems and methods for determining a data flow path including a plurality of network devices for routing data from a first network device to a second network device; determining for the network devices one or more flow rules that specify an input for receiving data, an output for outputting data, and a role tag indicative of a role of a network device, where the role tag for one or more flow rules for a first network device of the network devices indicates a source role; distributing, to the network devices, the one or more flow rules; determining malicious activity on the data flow path; determining that the first network device is a source based at least in part on the role tag for the first network device; and sending, to the first network device, a blocking flow rule to inhibit routing of malicious data.

Abstract: A modular water pipe and method of manufacture in one embodiment includes a reservoir with detachable chimney. The chimney may include a mouthpiece module and optional extension and/or percolation modules. Modules may be threaded together. The reservoir and chimney may be constructed of glass and may include metallic rings fixed thereto to allow threading or other selectively removable connection of the components. A down stem may be threaded to a bowl adapter assembly to allow use of a single down stem with bowls of varying size. The rings may be bonded to the glass components using an adhesive, or they may be press-fit thereto.

Abstract: Caching storage segments (e.g., pages) loaded from a remote storage such that, during recovery, the cached loaded storage segments may be at least partially recovered without reloading the storage segments from the remote storage. During normal operation of a computing system, storage segments are loaded from remote storage into local memory of a computing system. At some point, either due to eviction of the storage segment due to aging out of the storage segment, or due to writing of the storage segment, it is determined to write at least some of the loaded storage segments into local persistent storage. In conjunction with this, the corresponding storage segment is written to a respective storage address of the local persistent storage. Also, a correlation between an identifier of the storage segment and the respective address in the persistent storage is recorded in a persistent data structure.

Abstract: Techniques involving selective modification of keyboard presentation and functionality. A commanding mode is selectively activated on a virtual keyboard. Activating the commanding mode attributes commands to respective individual keys of the virtual keyboard. Also in response to the commanding mode, indicia suggestive of the command is presented on those individual keys to which the commands were attributed. The commands can be executed in an application in response to selection of the respective individual keys when in commanding mode.

Abstract: A method for generating a predicted segmentation map for potential objects in a future scene depicted in a future image is described. The method includes receiving input images that depict a same scene; processing a current input image to generate a segmentation map for potential objects in the current input image and a respective depth map; generating a point cloud for the current input image; processing the input images to generate, for each pair of two input images in the sequence, a respective ego-motion output that characterizes motion of the camera between the two input images; processing the ego-motion outputs to generate a future ego-motion output; processing the point cloud of the current input image and the future ego-motion output to generate a future point cloud; and processing the future point cloud to generate the predicted segmentation map for potential objects in the future scene depicted in the future image.
