Abstract: A centralized data repository system, in various embodiments, is configured to provide a central data-storage repository (e.g., one or more servers, databases, etc.) for the centralized storage of personally identifiable information (PII) and/or personal data for one or more particular data subjects. In particular embodiments, the centralized data repository may enable the system to populate one or more data models (e.g., using one or more suitable techniques described above) substantially on-the-fly (e.g., as the system collects, processes, stores, etc. personal data regarding a particular data subject). In this way, in particular embodiments, the system is configured to maintain a substantially up-to-date data model for a plurality of data subjects (e.g., each particular data subject for whom the system collects, processes, stores, etc. personal data).

Abstract: A method of vehicle navigation using terrain text recognition includes receiving, via an electronic controller arranged on a vehicle and having access to a map of the terrain, a navigation route through the terrain. The method also includes receiving, via the controller, a signal from a global positioning system (GPS) to determine a current position of the vehicle relative to the terrain. The method additionally includes determining, via the controller, a location of a next waypoint on the navigation route and relative to the current vehicle position. The method also includes detecting and communicating to the controller, via a vehicle sensor an image frame displaying a text indicative of the next waypoint and correlating, via the controller, the detected text to the next waypoint on the map. Furthermore, the method includes setting, via the controller, an in-vehicle alert indicative of the detected text having been correlated to the next waypoint.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for tracking a battery cell is disclosed, for a device having one or more sensors and a controller with a processor and tangible, non-transitory memory. The method includes obtaining respective sensor data relative to an anode and a cathode. A predicted anode capacity and predicted cathode capacity are determined based on the respective sensor data. The predicted anode capacity and predicted cathode capacity each have a respective variance value. An updated set of variables and updated respective variance values are generated based in part on the predicted anode capacity, the predicted cathode capacity and a measured equilibrium voltage, via a Kalman filter module executed by the controller. The updated set of variables include an updated anode capacity and an updated cathode capacity. Operation of the device is controlled based in part on the updated set of variables and updated respective variance values.

Abstract: A high dynamic range imaging pixel may include first and second photodiodes that generate charge in response to incident light. The second photodiode may have a higher sensitivity than the first photodiode. When generated charge in the first photodiode exceeds a given charge level, the charge may overflow through a transistor to a capacitor. The overflow path from the first photodiode to the capacitor may optionally pass through the floating diffusion region. A transistor may be coupled between the first and second photodiodes. A gain select transistor may be coupled between the floating diffusion region and the capacitor. After sampling the overflow charge, the charge from both the first and second photodiodes may be sampled. In one arrangement, overflow charge may be transferred to a capacitor in a subsequent row.
