Abstract: A computer-implemented method includes detecting, at a processor and by a plurality of associates, a mission to be performed by the plurality of associates; identifying the mission based on associated store information comprising an inventory status, sales data, and a set of predetermined rules; generating, by the processor, a queue of tasks to complete the mission based on priorities and dependencies of the tasks; determining a task for each associate whose profile defines best abilities matching a predetermined task dataset and the associated store information; assigning the queue of tasks to the plurality of the associates to complete the tasks; receiving, from each of the associates, a notification of a completion of an assigned task; verifying, by the processor, the completion of the assigned task; and determining, by the processor, completion of the mission when each task for the mission is verified to be completed.

Abstract: There is disclosed in one example a computing apparatus, including: a hardware platform including a processor and a memory; and instructions encoded within the memory to instruct the processor to: provide a permission list; allocate an executable, the executable to have permissions according to the permission list; designate a child object of the executable; allocate a certificate for the child object; and after a system reboot, grant the child object permissions of the executable after validating the certificate.

Abstract: A method for generating a 3D digital model used in hairpiece manufacturing is disclosed, which comprises: scanning a subject's head three-dimensionally by optical means, and obtaining 3D geometry and color information of the head, the 3D geometry and the color information having a positional correspondence therebetween; generating a 3D model of the head based on the 3D geometry and color information; identifying a target area to be covered by a hairpiece based on the color information; and obtaining position of the target area based on the positional correspondence between the 3D geometry and the color information. A system for generating a 3D digital model used in hairpiece manufacturing is also disclosed, which comprises a 3D optical scanner and an electronic device.

Abstract: A system that incorporates teachings of the present disclosure may include, for example, a processing system that analyses, without user intervention, content of a first message directed from equipment of a sending user to equipment of a receiving user, to identify a task. The processing system determines that that the receiving user is unable to perform the task according to biometric data of the receiving user. The biometric data is selected from one of heart rate, blood pressure, respiratory rate, and combinations thereof. According to the content of the first message and the biometric data obtained from the receiving user, the processing system determines that the task should be delegated to another user, and responsive thereto, provides a second message associated with the task to equipment of the another user. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing calls and alerts on a mobile electronic communications device include detecting a sleep state associated with the user, providing alerts to the user in a manner and at a time determined by the user's current sleep state. Similarly, calls are managed based on the user's sleep state so that the user is not awakened from deep sleep by routine calls but may be awakened in the event of an urgent call.

Abstract: A mobile, energy-storing DC fast charger may be easily moved from a low-cost charging hub to a different secondary vehicle-charging location. This allows grid charging to occur at a remote, low-cost location that does not require the electrical service upgrades that would be necessary for construction of a new charging station at a location where it is desired to serve EV customers. Once charged at the low-cost hub, a mobile unit may be delivered to various remote locations for charging of electric vehicles at a low total lifecycle cost. The mobile units may be configured to provide AC and DC services for electric customers in addition to the EV services. Examples of such services include the supply of electric generation capacity for utilities and peak-shaving services for commercial and industrial customers, the provision of temporary power for construction facilities, and backup power to off-grid customers.

Abstract: Described is a poll-based system that provides an on-line and mobile network of users and products, goods and services that are determined through polling each of the users. The system compares, in real-time, the current user's polling responses to identify which most similarly match the answered questions to that of the user. As the user progressively answers questions, the system updates the matching and presentation other users and of products, goods and services. Thus, as the user answers polling questions, the selected answers are compared against the selected descriptions of other products, goods and services, or general questions, to generate a likelihood of match between the users, and also each of the products, goods and services. The profiles of products, goods and services that have a likelihood of match within a predetermined threshold are then presented, including links within the profile for specific purchases.

Abstract: Network management systems and methods are provided. A system is provided that includes an event database that provides a mapping of multimodal sensor data to events of devices coupled to a network, such as operational or behavioral events. A network management engine obtains a set of multimodal sensor data relating to a device, which may include sensor measurement or output data relating to each of multiple device operation or behavior parameters. The engine determines, utilizing the mapping, a match of the set of multimodal sensor data to a specific event associated with the device. Based at least in part on the determined match, the engine causes generation or updating of event data associated with the specific event, the data being accessible by network management software of the network management system.

Abstract: A footwell assembly for a vehicle is disclosed herein. The footwell assembly includes a receiving member that defines a recess configured to receive a stowed foot pedal. A cover feature includes a connecting member that is removably coupled to the receiving member and a cover member that is coupled to the connecting member. The cover member is operable to move relative to the connecting member from a first position to a second concealment position to cover the stowed foot pedal.

Abstract: A low profile high current composite transformer is disclosed. Some embodiments of the transformer include a first conductive winding having a first start lead, a first finish lead, a first plurality of winding turns, and a first hollow core; a second conductive winding having a second start lead, a second finish lead, a second plurality of turns, and a second hollow core; and a soft magnetic composite compressed surrounding the first and second windings. The soft magnetic composite with distributed gap provides for a near linear saturation curve.

Abstract: This document relates to a process for autopilot re-enrollment of managed devices in a network following a reset of the managed devices. Upon determining that the managed devices lack a hardware authenticator, a one-time password can be issued to the managed devices that may be stored in a persistent memory, and upon reset of the managed devices, the one-time password can be returned for validation and the managed devices can be automatically re-enrolled in the network upon validation of the one-time password.

Abstract: A housewrap is a multi-layer drainage wrap. A nonwoven base web has a three-dimensional pattern embossed therein on one surface of the web. This embossed web is then extrusion coated with a polymer coating. The coating is extrusion-coated on to embossed side of the nonwoven base web. The nonwoven base web has the three-dimensionally embossed and coated side as its outward facing surface. The coated base web is then activated by stretching to provide moisture vapor permeance at a rate that allows a building to breathe. The result is a housewrap that is textured on both the inside and outside faces of the housewrap. The texture and weather resistive coating on exterior side facilitates both drainage of water off of the outside face of the housewrap and the circulation of air and moisture around and through the inside face of the housewrap and promotes a tighter seal and better adhesion to flashing tapes reducing further the points of entry for water into the structure.

Abstract: A method for measuring and managing DHA levels in a pregnant woman to substantially reduce risk of spontaneous preterm birth, including: determining the blood level of DHA in the pregnant woman at or about the end of the first trimester or beginning of the second trimester, the DHA level being a first comparator; determining level of DHA in at least one pregnant subject at least one predetermined period, where the at least one pregnant subject having achieved a term pregnancy, and where the level of DHA at the at least one predetermined period being at least a second comparator; comparing the level of DHA in the first and at least second comparator; and when the difference between the first and the at least second comparator is greater than a predetermined value, administering to the subject a therapeutically effective amount of DHA to reduce pathology relating to spontaneous preterm birth.
