Abstract: Functional jewelry is disclosed. A bracelet includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes (LEDs), a main control unit, and positional and situational sensors, typically including an accelerometer, as well as a decorative, interchangeable fascial layer. The bracelet may also include sensors such as capacitive touch sensors, a microphone, and a color sensor. A radio transceiver within the bracelet is adapted to implement a protocol such as BLUETOOTH® 4.0, and is adapted to allow the bracelet to communicate in peer-to-peer or master-slave mode. Two users can pair their bracelets in person, usually with a gestural trigger, for shared light displays, multi-player games, and other types of interactions. Larger groups can pair temporarily and contextually for multi-user displays and interactions, in an ad hoc network with distributed functions. Real-world interactions are communicated to a social network with profiles linked to the individual bracelets.

Abstract: Fuel cell assemblies comprising at least one thermally compensated coolant channel are provided. The thermally compensated coolant channel has a cross-sectional area that decreases in the coolant flow direction along at least a portion of the channel length. In some embodiments, such thermally compensated coolant channels can be used to provide substantially uniform heat flux, and substantially isothermal conditions, in fuel cells operating with substantially uniform current density.

In some aspects, a patient unique identifier, which enables a patient to be uniquely identified and associated with a patient record, is received. A message is received. The message includes a package unique identifier that enables a package that a drug administered to the patient was stored within to be uniquely identified. The message includes at least one pair of values, wherein each pair of values corresponds to an administration event and indicates an amount of the drug administered to the patient and a time of administration of the amount of the drug to the patient. The drug administered to the patient using the package unique identifier is identified. The identity of the drug and the at least one pair of values are stored against the patient record, which includes a dosage regimen associated with the patient.

In some aspects, systems and method generate a co-therapy regimen for a patient suffering from a disease or condition. An identification of a co-therapy suitable to treat the disease or condition is received. A desired patient endpoint and a patient position are received, wherein the patient position is defined relative to the desired patient endpoint. A dataset relating to the patient is stored. The dataset comprises one or more patient data based on patient-related measurements. The dataset, the patient position and the desired patient endpoint are processed to generate a regimen for the co-therapy. The regimen is stored in a database.

The air supply is directed to the plurality of fuel cell cathode flow field plates via a plenum defined by a space between the fuel cell stack and the housing major interior surface. The hexagonal fuel cell stack can be formed by a plurality of fuel cell groups shaped such that when aligned the fuel cell groups together constitute the hexagonal fuel cell stack.

Abstract: A fuel cell anode flow field includes at least one flow channel with a cross-sectional area that varies along at least a portion of its length. In some embodiments, the channel width decreases along at least a portion of the channel length according to a natural exponential function. This type of anode flow field can improve performance, reduce fuel consumption and/or reduce detrimental effects such as carbon corrosion and catalyst degradation, thereby improving fuel cell longevity and durability. When operating the fuel cell on either a substantially pure or a dilute fuel stream, this type of anode flow field can provide more uniform current density. These flow channels can be incorporated into reactant flow field plates, fuel cells and fuel cell stacks.

Specifically, an implementation of the technology disclosed herein gives a continuous all-time immersive experience by treating the screen of the mobile device as a window to watch a wide-angle video, and by keeping the video's relative angle to gravity unchanged while users rotate or tilt their mobile devices. In one implementation, the video also zooms in/out of the display during rotation of the smartphones, to give users a sense of getting closer/farther to the video. One or more implementations disclosed herein use inputs from gravity sensors including magnetic sensors, gyroscope, accelerometer, etc., to determine the amount of zooming in/out and shifting for the video in response to various movements, such as rotate, move, and tilt, of the video display device by the users.
