Decomposing a layout to first connection patterns and second connection patterns alternatively arranged with each other, where a to-be-split pattern is disposed between the first connection pattern and the second connection pattern; splitting the to-be-split pattern into a cutting portion and a counterpart cutting portion; forming a first photomask having a layout constructed by the first connection pattern and the cutting portion; forming a second photomask having a layout constructed by the second connection pattern and the counterpart cutting portion; transferring layouts of the first and second photomasks to a target layer to form connection patterns and a merged pattern, where the contour of the merged pattern is defined by the cutting portion and the counterpart cutting portion, and each end surface of the merged pattern comprises a recessed region and a protruded region.

The system includes: at least one camera to observe a surveillance field and provide resulting video data; at least one beacon comprising at least one light emitting element and a controller providing an actuation sequence to the light emitting element such that it emits a binary signal comprising sequential on/off flashes; and a video analytics system comprising a processor configured to receive video data captured by the, at least one camera and analyse the video for the presence of light emissions from a beacon. The binary signal may consist of a plurality of transmission packets, each repeating an encoded set of data. Each transmission packet may comprise a plurality of functional sub packets, for example, a first sub-packet comprising a fixed code and a second sub-packet which changes between transmission packets.

Abstract: Systems and methods for detecting and diagnosing faults in a radiotherapy system, such as a fault related to a dynamic leaf guide (DLG), are discussed. An exemplary predictive maintenance system includes a processor configured to receive machine data indicative of configuration and operation of a DLG in a target radiotherapy machine, apply a trained deep learning model to the received machine data, and detect and diagnose a DLG fault. The predictive maintenance system can train the deep learning model using data sequences constructed from the received machine data of the one more normal DLGs and the one or more faulty DLGs. Diagnosis of the DLG fault in the target radiotherapy machine includes classifying the DLG faults into different fault types or different fault severities.
