Abstract: A method performed by a first network node of providing a last used PLMN ID in LTE to a second network node, the first network node and the second network node operating in a wireless communications network. The method comprises providing the last used PLMN ID in LTE of a wireless device in the wireless communications network, to the second network node, as soon as a Circuit Switched, CS, call due to a CSFB procedure has been setup. The providing of the PLMN ID is performed by one of: adding information about the last used PLMN ID in LTE to an existing message from the first network node to the second network node, and defining a new message from the first network node to the second network node. The new message comprises the last used PLMN ID in LTE.

Abstract: There is disclosed a method for operating a radio node for a wireless communication network, the radio node being adapted for transmitting communication data on at least one carrier based on a timing relative to a pre-defined time structure. The method comprises defining at least one freeze interval relative to the pre-defined time structure, performing a Listen-Before-Talk, LBT, procedure to determine whether accessing the at least one carrier for transmission is allowed, and, if accessing the at least one carrier for transmission is determined to be allowed based on performing the LBT procedure, starting transmission of communication data on the at least one carrier outside the at least one freeze interval. There are also disclosed a corresponding node, system, program product and storage medium.

The method comprises monitoring a rate of wireless device accesses in the cell, and configuring neighboring cell relations of the cell based on the monitored rate of wireless device accesses in the cell.
Abstract: An apparatus and method are described that use a cylindrical drum type vacuum drum and allows accurately registered, high resolution laser patterning of thin films on discrete lengths or flexible substrate material that are unwound from an unwind reel and after processing are rewound onto a rewind reel. Length compensator units are provided either side of the drum to accommodate variations in the length of the substrate due to differential rotation of the drum and the unwind and rewind reels.
Abstract: Disclosed are various implementations for controlling an electric field within a focused beam of electromagnetic radiation. In one example, among others, a system includes a first birefringent element encodes a first phase shift on a vertical component of a polarization of an input beam. A first wave plate rotates a polarization of an output beam of the first birefringent element by an angle. A second birefringent element encodes a second phase shift to a vertical component of the output beam of the first wave plate. A second wave plate rotates a polarization of the output beam of the second birefringent element by another angle. By mechanically or electronically varying parameters of the system, the polarization in the focus of the beam can be continuously orientated in any desired direction.
Abstract: A first network node controls WLAN accesses and a second network node controls cellular network accesses. The first network node (NN) records a time of a last radio contact event of a user equipment (UE) with respect to a WLAN access controlled by the first NN. In response to a request from a third NN, the first NN indicates the recorded time of the last radio contact event to the third NN. The second NN records a time of a last radio contact event of the UE with respect to a cellular network access controlled by the second NN. In response to a request from the third NN, the second NN indicates the recorded time of the last radio contact event to the third NN. The third NN can use the indicated times to determine whether the UE is attached to a WLAN access or to a cellular network access.

Abstract: A method implemented in a first peer entity communicating with a second peer entity using a predetermined protocol includes receiving a first packet from the second peer entity. The method further includes identifying an instruction field included within the first packet, the instruction field indicating a predetermined function to be performed by the first peer entity. The method further includes determining whether the predetermined function can be performed by the first entity. The method also includes transmitting a second packet to the second peer entity indicating whether the first entity performs the predetermined function.

Abstract: A terrestrial data communications wireless link includes a first link end that has a first directional antenna, a first beacon and a first redirecting assembly coupled to the first directional antenna. The wireless link also includes a second link end having a second directional antenna, a second beacon and a second redirecting assembly coupled to the second directional antenna. In use the first directional antenna and the second directional antenna are maintained in mutual alignment by the first redirecting assembly redirecting the first directional antenna in response to a signal from the second beacon and the second redirecting assembly redirecting the second directional antenna in response to a signal from the first beacon.

Abstract: An object of the present invention is to provide a method for producing oxide particles with controlled color characteristics and to provide oxide particles with controlled color characteristics. The present invention provides a method for producing oxide particles, comprising controlling color characteristics of the oxide particles by controlling the ratio of M-OH bonds, the binding of one or more different elements (M) other than oxygen or hydrogen with hydroxyl group (OH), in oxide particles selected from metal oxide particles and metalloid oxide particles. According to the present invention, oxide particles having controlled color characteristics of any one of reflectance, transmittance, molar absorption coefficient, hue, or color saturation can be provided by controlling the percentage of the M-OH bonds contained in metal oxide particles or metalloid oxide particles.

Abstract: Systems and methods for control signal outer-loop adjustment are disclosed. In some embodiments, a method of operation of a network node in a cellular communications network is provided. The method includes transmitting a control signal and a data signal to a wireless device. The method also includes detecting an ambiguous state of reception of the control signal by the wireless device based on a feedback of reception of the data signal. The method also includes, in response to detecting the ambiguous state of reception, updating a link adaptation (LA) parameter used to choose a coding scheme and power level for transmission of information in the control signal. By updating the LA parameter in response to detecting the ambiguous state of reception, the network node may provide improved performance.

Abstract: Provided is a method that de-multiplexes a bit stream to extract intra prediction mode information and residual signals, restores an intra prediction mode of a current prediction unit using the intra prediction information and intra prediction modes of prediction units adjacent to the current prediction unit, generates reference pixels using one or more available reference pixel if there exist unavailable reference pixels of the prediction unit, adaptively filters the reference pixels based on the restored intra prediction mode, generates a prediction block using the restored intra prediction mode and the reference pixels, decodes the residual signal to generating a residual block, and generates a reconstructed block using the prediction block and the residual block. Accordingly, additional bits resulted from increase of a number of intra prediction mode are effectively reduced. Also, an image compression ratio can be improved by generating a prediction block similar to an original block.

Abstract: The embodiments herein relates to a method in a communications network. A first probing pilot signal is transmitted from a first network node to a wireless device. The first probing pilot signal is unique for the first network node. A second signal is transmitted from the first network node to the wireless device. The second signal is unique for the first network node. The first probing pilot signal together the second signal enables identification of that the first network node is suitable to transmit data to the wireless device. A first and second set of channel state parameters is transmitted from the wireless device to the central network node which identifies that the first network node is suitable to transmit data to the wireless device since it is substantially close to the first network node.
Abstract: An apparatus including a screen capable of separating solids from a liquid-solid mixture and a first probe disposed beneath the screen. The first probe is provided to determine a position of a beach between the liquid-solid mixture and separated solids. The apparatus may measure a property of a local volume of a probe disposed beneath a first separator deck. The probe may then send a first signal to database. Based on the signal a location of a beach may be determined.
