Abstract: An assembly for sealing a shaker screen assembly in a shaker separator includes a substantially inflexible gasket affixed to each screen support and a flexible gasket affixed to each screen support such that the screen frame rests atop the gaskets on the support around its periphery. A wedge block retainer bracket is affixed to each side wall of the shaker separator above the corresponding section of the screen frame. A wedge block is selectively drivable into the space between the wedge block retainer bracket and the corresponding section of the screen frame, providing force thereto sufficient to seat the screen frame against the inflexible gasket and to compress the flexible gasket between the screen frame and the screen support, thereby providing a substantially fluid tight seal.
Abstract: A storable transfer conveyor system for moving bundles from an upstream conveyor to a downstream conveyor utilizing a storable transfer conveyor which is movable from a first operative position, wherein the bundles are transferred to the downstream conveyor, to a second stored position on top of the downstream conveyor. When the storable transfer conveyor is in the second stored position, nearly all of the floor space occupied by the storable transfer conveyor when it was in the first operative position is vacated and available for another use and for operators to freely traverse the formerly occupied floor space. Transfer of the storable transfer conveyor is preferably nearly entirely by powered conveyors, requiring very minimal manual effort on the part of the operators of the equipment. In some applications, the storable transfer conveyor may be manually pushed or pulled in and out of a stored position.
Abstract: The invention relates to a system for electromagnetic processing of an input wave involving receiving a modified signal derived from two or more signals that represent the input wave when combined; and regulating the modified signal using at least one characteristic of the two or more signals. Embodiments of the invention may utilize in-phase and quadrature phase signals, where the magnitude portion of the signals may be used for regulating the modified signal. The modified signal may be created by modulating a characteristic of the I, Q signals, such as their sign, with an RF or other frequency carrier wave.

Abstract: In a mobile telecommunications system comprising a network of a plurality of cells and at least one user equipment device, the method comprises, in the user equipment device, when the user equipment has system information stored in the user equipment device, which system information has an associated expiration time limit, reading broadcast system information before the end of the expiration time limit and storing updated system information in the user equipment device.
Abstract: Methods and apparatus are described for estimating a phase offset between two channels in a communication system to allow the use of both in determining a complex channel estimate. The phase offset arises from the system's rotation of only one of the two signaling channels prior to its transmission on one of the two antennas in transmission diversity mode. The phase offset is calculated in a receiver, such as a mobile station. For example, in a 3GPP system, the DPCH, which is rotated, and the CPICH, which is not, may be used in channel estimation.

The telecommunications module provides quad-band capability in a compact design.

A hollow cylinder rod having a piston assembly and cushioning valve assembly is seated within the tubular body for reciprocating action therein. The piston assembly is formed of a piston having a bore passing longitudinally therethrough and a cylindrical collar. The collar is mounted about the outside of one end of the hollow cylinder rod and the piston caps the end. The cushioning valve assembly comprises an elongated rod having a cushion piston at one end and a head at the other and is seated within the bore of the piston, such that the cushion piston is fitted within the interior of the hollow cylinder rod.
Abstract: A system for manufacturing control using radio frequency identification (RFID). A trigger issues a trigger signal when activated by user contact. A RFID interrogator retrieves information from a RFID tag when activated. A controller is configured to activate the RFID interrogator, get the relative information from associated systems and control the indicator according to the trigger signal. An indicator provides operating status of the RFID interrogator and/or information getting from the controller.
Abstract: A combined degassing and flotation tank for separation of a water influent containing considerable amounts of oil and gas. A rotational flow is created in the tank which forces the lighter components such as oil and gas droplets towards an inner concentric cylindrical wall where they coalesce and rise to the surface of the liquid and are removed via the outlet (3) whereas the heavier parts are forced down where the heavy particles sink to the lower part where they may be removed as a sludge. The water is discharged via an outlet in the lower part of the tank. The combined degassing and flotation tank is particular suited for use in oil production at sea for removal of oil and gasses from water streams before the water is returned to the sea.
Abstract: A receiver circuit including a differential amplifier and at least one common mode feedback circuit coupled to the differential amplifier for providing a control current to the differential amplifier for regulating a common mode voltage of the differential amplifier. The receiver circuit provides integration and sampling on an input signal, and may be used as a portion of a sensor circuit.

Abstract: A method of making an ink stamp includes providing a first porous structure having a top surface, a bottom surface and porous edges extending between the top and bottom surfaces, loading a first ink into the first porous structure, and providing a second porous structure having a top surface, a bottom surface and porous edges extending between the top and bottom surfaces. The method includes loading a second ink into the second porous structure, applying energy to one of the porous edges of the first porous structure to transform the porous edge to an edge having a non-porous surface, and assembling the first porous structure with the second porous structure so that the non-porous edge of the first porous structure is in direct contact with one of the porous edges of the second porous structure. The non-porous edge prevents the first ink from passing through the non-porous edge to the second porous structure.

Abstract: A hydrous silica gel is dehydrated by freezing, thawing, and removing water separated by thawing, thereby yielding silica particles. In addition, the silica particles thus formed is washed and fired, thereby producing a synthetic quartz glass power. A water glass is dealkalized, an oxidizing agent and an acid are added, the mixture thus formed is passed through a hydrogen type cation exchange resin, the aqueous silica solution thus formed is then gelled, and the gelled material is then washed and fired, thereby producing a synthetic quartz powder. Silica is sequentially held for a predetermined time at each temperature range of 150 to 400° C., 500 to 700° C., and 1,100 to 1,300° C., thereby producing a quartz glass.
