Abstract: A method for facilitating a distributed catalog service via a federated blockchain is disclosed. The method includes receiving, via an initiator, a submission, the initiator corresponding to a node from among a plurality of nodes of a distributed ledger; validating, via a validator, the submission, the validator corresponding to another node from among the plurality of nodes of the distributed ledger; determining whether a threshold is satisfied based on a result of the validating; initiating an action when the threshold is satisfied, the action including a modification of the distributed ledger at each of the plurality of nodes according to the submission; and notifying subscribers to the distributed ledger.

Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses, and media for approving a first transaction related to identification information of an individual are provided. A second transaction to provide approval of the first transaction is received after the first transaction is authenticated. Secondary identification information of the individual is obtained in response to the second transaction being received, and an electronic device is identified based on the secondary identification information. A predetermined process for approving the first transaction is determined. Communication is initiated with the electronic device according to the predetermined process. The approval is provided in response to the predetermined process being completed, with the approval approving execution of the first transaction related to the identification information.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and devices for preventing payments to unintended beneficiaries. A service provider system may receive, from a user device of a user, a payment request to transfer funds from a source account to an identified destination account. A beneficiary system may be identified, and a validation request (e.g., an API call) may be transmitted to the beneficiary system. The service provider system may receive from the beneficiary system a transmission indicating whether the destination account is associated with the recipient identified in the payment request. The user may be alerted if the account number for the destination account is not validated.

Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and devices for facilitating secure and private communications, via a website or application of a third-party computing system (TPCS), between a user device and a service provider computing system (SPCS). The communications may be conducted via a frame in a website served by the TPCS. The TPCS may serve a website that incorporates a customizable SDK component provided by the SPCS. The communications allow the user to, for example, open a new account. The SDK component may be initialized via a script from the SPCS, and authenticated via a session token obtained from the SPCS via the TPCS. The SDK component may provide user information, input into the frame, to the SPCS via API calls to the SPCS. The user does not navigate away from the website while securely engaging the SPCS. The third-party/partner need not develop its own user interface, security protocols, etc.

Abstract: A method performed by a processor of a financial institution computing system includes authorizing an account holder to execute transactions in an MBC from a financial account of the account holder that includes funds in a fiat currency. A transaction request is received, including a request to transfer a first amount of funds from the financial account to a recipient. The first amount is defined in MBC. The financial account is debited by a second amount, which is an amount of fiat currency equivalent to the first amount of MBC. A service call is transmitted to the MBC partner. The service call includes instructions to create a temporary account to hold the MBC, to exchange the second amount from fiat currency to MBC, to credit the temporary account with the funds exchanged to MBC, and to transfer the first amount in MBC from the temporary account to the recipient.

Abstract: A method for facilitating automated participant record augmentation via a secured repository is disclosed. The method includes aggregating, via an application programming interface, employee data from sources according to a predetermined schedule, the employee data including data elements; associating the data elements with a corresponding employee; persisting the association and the data elements in the secured repository; receiving an indication that an interaction has been initiated, the interaction corresponding to a telecommunications interaction between several participants; identifying the persisted data elements that correspond to each of the participants based on the association; and automatically augmenting an interaction record that corresponds to the interaction with the identified data elements.

The illumination system includes a broadband light source that generates a beam of radiation. The dispersive optical element receives the beam of radiation and generates a plurality of light beams having a narrower bandwidth than the broadband light source. The optical switch receives the plurality of light beams and transmits each one of the plurality of light beams to a respective one of a plurality of alignment sensor of a sensor array. The detector receives radiation returning from the sensor array and to generate a measurement signal based on the received radiation.

Abstract: Various methods, apparatuses/systems, and media for automatically deploying an SDN are disclosed. A processor implements a declarative model for an SDN deployment and receives, in the declarative model, service order data from a user corresponding to the SDN deployment. The service order data includes high-level declarative statement data specifying a desired end-state of the SDN deployment. The processor translates the high-level declarative statement data into a low-level specification data that includes data corresponding to a topology and how the SDN should be deployed; creates a run-time topology model based on the low-level specification data; determines whether the service order is valid or not by comparing the low-level specification data against predefined policies and infrastructure constraints data corresponding to execution of the SDN deployment; and automatically executes deployment of the SDN based on a determination that the service order is valid in response to the run-time topology model.

When a request to display certain data by an application is received, an application token and a user token may be retrieved and combined into a consolidated token. The consolidated token may be input into a machine learning model to obtain a user interface token for an application. The user interface token may indicate user interface settings/configuration desired/preferred by a user. The user interface token may then be sent to the application to cause the application to display the data using user interface configurations within the user interface token.

Abstract: An optical shape sensing system includes an attachment mechanism (130) being configured to secure an optical shape sensing fiber to an instrument, the optical shape sensing fiber being connected to the instrument and configured to identify a position and orientation of the instrument. An optical shape sensing module (115) is configured to receive feedback from the optical shape sensing fiber and register the position of the instrument relative to an operating environment. A position response module (144) is configured to provide feedback to an operator based on position or orientation of the instrument to guide usage of the instrument.
