Abstract: Embodiments of the invention described herein relate to a polyethylene polymer composition suitable for use in the manufacture of packaging articles, flexible films and/or sheets. In one embodiment, the copolymer comprises a polyethylene resin with density 0.918 g/cm3 to about 0.935 g/cm3, G? at G?(500 Pa) value, as determined from Dynamic Mechanical Analysis at 190° C., of less than 40 Pa, Mz/Mw of greater than 2, CDBI50 of greater than 60. Other embodiments relate to polymer compositions with defined molecular characteristics and formulations suitable for use in the manufacture of articles including films, sheets, bags and pouches with improved creep resistance and high toughness and a good balance of film stiffness and processability in monolayer and/or multi-layer film structures.

Abstract: A test structure is presented for use in metrology measurements of a sample pattern. The test structure comprises a main pattern, and one or more auxiliary patterns. The main pattern is formed by a plurality of main features extending along a first longitudinal axis and being spaced from one another along a second lateral axis. The one or more auxiliary patterns are formed by a plurality of auxiliary features associated with at least some of the main features such that a dimension of the auxiliary feature is in a predetermined relation with a dimension of the respective main feature. This provides that a change in a dimension of the auxiliary feature from a nominal value affects a change in non-zero order diffraction response from the test structure in a predetermined optical measurement scheme, and this change is indicative of a deviation in one or more parameters of the main pattern from nominal value thereof.
Abstract: Provided herein are VLDPE polymer compositions suitable for use in the manufacture of flexible films or sheets. In one embodiment, the copolymer comprises a polyethylene VLDPE resin with Mz/Mw of greater than 2, CDBI50 of greater than 55 and a single melting peak in DSC measurement. The polymer compositions disclosed herein may be suitable for use in the manufacture of films with improved balance of film toughness, processability and sealability in monolayer and multi-layer film structures.

Abstract: Computer processor hardware receives zone information specifying multiple elements of a rendition of a signal belonging to a zone. The computer processor hardware also receives motion information associated with the zone. Abstract: A dual reactor solution process gives high density polyethylene compositions containing a first ethylene copolymer and a second ethylene copolymer and which have good processability, stiffness, and environmental stress crack resistance. The polyethylene compositions are suitable for compression molding or injection molding applications and are particularly useful in the manufacture of caps and closures for bottles.
Abstract: This disclosure relates to rotomolded articles, having a wall structure, where the wall structure contains at least one layer containing an ethylene interpolymer product, or a blend containing an ethylene interpolymer product, where the ethylene interpolymer product has: a Dilution Index (Yd) greater than ?1.0; total catalytic metal ?3.0 ppm; ?0.03 terminal vinyl unsaturations per 100 carbon atoms. The ethylene interpolymer products have a melt index from about 0.5 to about 15 dg/minute, a density from about 0.930 to about 0.955 g/cm3, a polydispersity (Mw/Mn) from about 2 to about 6 and a CDBI50 from about 50% to about 98%. Further, the ethylene interpolymer products are a blend of at least two ethylene interpolymers; where one ethylene interpolymer is produced with a single-site catalyst formulation and at least one ethylene interpolymer is produced with a heterogeneous catalyst formulation.

Abstract: A continuous flow process for the oligomerization of ethylene using a chromium catalyst having a phosphorus-nitrogen-phosphorus (“P—N—P”) ligand provides high selectivity to the desired tetramer (1-octene) with reduced production of coproduct C10+ oligomers. Prior art processes that maximize catalyst activity have provided comparatively poor product selectivity. In particular, the production of larger amounts of C10+ oligomers have been observed under conditions that maximize activity. The present process resolves this problem through the use of a combination of low catalyst concentration and by limiting the octene concentration in the reactor.

Abstract: A system and method of controlling communication. An appliance is provided with a program suitable for issuing a DNS request and a control program enabling the DNS request to be intercepted. The control program includes communications elements for communicating with a DNS server to which the DNS request is transmitted, and for communicating with another server for authorization. An authorization request, distinct from the DNS request, including an identifier of the user of the appliance and the domain name, is transmitted to the DNS server.
