Abstract: Turbomachines having one or more flow guiding features designed to increase the performance of the turbomachine. In some examples, flow guiding features are designed and configured to bias a circumferential pressure distribution at a diffuser inlet toward circumferential uniformity, otherwise account for such low-frequency spatial pressure variations, increase the controllability of spatial flow field variations, or modifying flow field variations, etc. In some examples, a diffuser having a row of vanes that include a plurality of first vanes and at least one second vane having a different characteristic than the first vanes are disclosed. In some examples, diffusers having an aperiodic section including one or more biased passages for biasing a flow field are disclosed. And in some examples, turbomachines having flowwise elongate recesses in one or both of a hub and shroud surface are disclosed.
Abstract: Polymer blends, films, and coated substrates that include the polymer blends. The polymer blends include at least 90% by weight low density polyethylene polymer and from 1 to 10% by weight ionomer. The LDPE polymer has a melt index (I2)from 2 g/10 mins to 6 g/10 mins, and a molecular weight distribution from 5 to 11 as determined by a conventional gel permeation chromatography method. The ionomer includes an ethylene acid copolymer, in which from 15% to 70% of acid groups are neutralized by sodium cation based on the total number of acid groups in the acid copolymer. The ethylene acid copolymer is the polymerized reaction product of: at least 50% by wt. ethylene, from 2 wt. % to 40 wt. % of monocarboxylic acid monomer, and from 0 to 20 wt. % of alkyl acrylate, based on the total wt. % of the monomers present in the ethylene acid copolymer.

Abstract: Systems are provided for generating, modifying and using SBOMs for facilitating risk assessment and threat mitigation for corresponding programs, and particularly for large programming builds. The creation and modification of the SBOMs includes processes for omitting declarations referenced in chunk SBOMs of program chunks incorporated into a final programming build associated with a build SBOM, but which are not actually utilized by the final programming build, as well as processes for adding new declarations for code segments that are not declared in the related chunk SBOMs, even though the code segments are utilized by the final programming build. Systems are also configured to use SBOMs in combination with configuration restriction records to assess and resolve threat events in a manner that can prevent unnecessary remedial actions for threat events that appear to be relevant to one or more files or dependencies incorporated into a program.

Abstract: Various methods and systems are provided for conditional scanning of a wireless network by a wireless monitoring system. The method for the wireless monitoring system comprises performing a scan of a wireless network in a first order to identify a plurality of access points (APs), reordering the plurality of APs to form a reordered group of APs based on a received signal strength indicator (RSSI) of each AP of the plurality of APs, and scanning the reordered group in a second order different than the first order to identify a candidate AP of the reordered group to roam to.

Abstract: Systems and methods for managing a network are disclosed. One method can comprise determining presence of a first network device associated with a network. If the first network device is not present, a second network device can be configured to assume authority of the network. If the first network device is present, the second network device can be configured to join the network. Other aspects relate to providing services in an environment having multiple service providers.
Abstract: Methods and/or apparatus for reducing or avoiding (IDC) in-device coexistence problems in devices which support multiple communications protocols, e.g., WiFi and LTE, are described. In various embodiments a WiFi AP can request or require devices, e.g., STAs to report IDC information pertinent to the individual device. This is done by sending one or more trigger frames, e.g., as part of a multicast or unicast operation. Alternatively, devices can voluntarily report IDC information. The AP, e.g., WiFi AP, takes the IDC information it receives, e.g., from multiple devices, e.g., STAs, into account when scheduling UL resources to be used by the wireless devices. By taking into consideration the IDC information provided by STAs, IDC conflicts can be avoid even though a WiFi AP is scheduling resources for WiFi communication in devices which are also using resources for another communications standard, e.g., LTE, over which the AP does not have control.
Abstract: A roofing system has metal roofing shingles that have formed side lap features that are configured to facilitate alignment of adjacent side lapped metal roofing shingles of a shingle installation along a roofing structure and that couple the metal roofing shingles together and form seals and seams along their side lapped peripheral edges. The metal roofing shingles also can have alignment features that cooperate to align shingles in one course with shingles in a next lower course within their headlap regions. The roofing system also has standing seam features configured to couple to the metal roofing shingles to cover the formed seams.

Abstract: Systems and methods of the present disclosure facilitate managing information technology service level agreements. In some embodiments, the system includes a server that accesses a database storing a support ticket in memory. The support ticket can include a creation time and a service level agreement. The service level agreement can include a maximum response time. The server initiates, via the computer network, responsive to input from a computing device, a chat session associated with the computing device and the support ticket. The initiating can be associated with a time stamp. The server can be configured to determine a compliance with the service level agreement. The compliance can be computed as a difference between the time stamp and the creation time being less than the maximum response time. The server can be configured to generate a notification of the compliance with the service level agreement.

Abstract: When a notification is to be shown, an artificial reality notification system can add the notification to a pre-defined location in the user's field of view (e.g., top, side, or bottom) where it stays as a head leashed virtual object until the user's gaze is direct to the notification. When the user's gaze is directed at the notification, the artificial reality notification system can make the notification world locked, allowing the user to move her head to bring the notification to the center of her field of view, move closer to the notification to make it larger, move around the notification to see aspects from different angles, etc. The notification can be dismissed if the user never directs her gaze at it for a first threshold amount of time or when the user looks away from the world-locked version for a second threshold amount of time.
Abstract: Techniques are described herein that are capable of providing a recommendation of an admin change (i.e., an admin change recommendation) in an enterprise. A type of intended admin change that an administrator is to perform with regard to an enterprise is determined. The type is cross-referenced with information indicating admin changes made by administrator(s) in environment(s) of enterprise(s) and values of metrics resulting therefrom to identify subsets of the information to which the type corresponds. A causal relationship is inferred between admin change(s) made after an admin change of the type and an increase in value(s) of metric(s) that are indicated by information in the subsets. A recommended admin change is recommended to be performed by the administrator based at least in part on a causal relationship between the recommended admin change and an increase in at least one of the value(s) of at least one of the respective metric(s).

Abstract: Embodiments herein relate to solutions to maximize the recovery of ethylene, propylene and aromatics rich naphtha from crude oil processing. The schemes involve treating the effluent from Fluid Catalytic Cracking (FCC) to remove metals like AsH3, PH3, Hg, as well as impurities such as NOx and oxygen, before mixing it with the steam cracker effluent. The combined effluent is then cooled in a cold box and sent to various fractionators for separating the ethylene, propylene, and aromatics rich naphtha.
