    Abstract: A coupler system for connecting elongate, horizontally disposed rods to vertical supports includes a top-cap component for attaching to the top of a vertical support. The top-cap support includes a body with plural cavities, and at least one ball-cap component for attaching to an end of a rod. The ball-cap component includes a ball region that fits within one of the plural cavities. The body may be formed with four plural cavities, each having beveled edges. The ball-cap component may include a ball region, a neck region, and an angled region located adjacent the neck region and away from the ball region. The top-cap and ball-cap components may include insertion regions with opposing sets of ribs. The coupler system may further include a cover component, and the body may be formed with a central hole for receiving a fastener that secures the cover component to the top-cap component.

To begin, a computing device can mark in a page table of the computing device that a page stored on a first memory host is not present. Then, the computing device can flush a translation lookaside buffer of the computing device. Next, the computing device can copy the page from the first memory host to a second memory host. Moving on, the computing device can update a page mapping table to reflect that the page is stored in the second memory host. Then, the computing device can mark in the page table of the computing device that the page stored in the second memory host is present. Subsequently, the computing device can discard the page stored on the first memory host.

    Abstract: Visual artifact detection systems and methods are disclosed herein. In an example system, optical characteristic measurements (e.g., a luminance value) for a display are obtained over a length of time, such as during power cycle events of a computing device coupled to the display. Based on the measurements, ripple values are generated, where each ripple value indicates a change of the optical characteristic over a period of time. A first ripple value is identified that exceeds a threshold and a first time window for identifying a subsequent ripple exceeding the threshold is commenced. If a second ripple value exceeds the threshold in the first time window, a determination is made that the first ripple value corresponds to a visual artifact on the display. In response, a visual artifact indication is generated, such as a notification to a user and/or a dynamic adjustment to a display parameter for remediating the artifact.

Once the computing device is authenticated by the management computing environment, the management computing environment can store the public key of the first application and return any public keys of other applications executing on the computing device. Once the public keys have been exchanged between the applications, the applications can encrypt and sign data packages for secure data communications between each other.
