Abstract: A lock system for a component of a thrust reverser actuation system (“TRAS”), comprising a lock member translatable between a locked position, in which the lock member prevents movement of the thrust reverser component to deploy the thrust reverser actuation system, and an unlocked position, in which the lock member allows movement of the thrust reverser component to deploy the thrust reverser actuation system. The actuator may further comprise a screw shaft and a nut translatable along the screw shaft and operatively connected to the lock member. Rotational movement of one of the screw shaft and the nut causes the nut to translate along the screw shaft and, in turn, the lock member to move between its locked position and its unlocked position.
Abstract: A method, system and computer program product for measuring non-uniformity noise produced in images or videos (e.g., infrared images or videos). Images or videos, such as infrared images or videos, are captured. A model of scene statistics (statistical model of pictures, images or videos representative of pictures, images or videos, respectively, that are captured of the physical world) is utilized to measure the non-uniformity noise in the captured images or videos by exploiting exhibited characteristics for non-uniformity noise in the captured images or videos. A number signifying a magnitude of non-uniformity for each image or video frame is then generated. In this manner, non-uniformity noise produced in images or videos is measured.

Abstract: A method and an electronic apparatus for wave detection are provided. The method is adapted to the electronic apparatus having an image capturing device and a processor, and includes following steps: successively capturing a plurality of images; calculating a difference image between each two adjacent images among the images, and determining whether a variation degree of the difference images is over a predetermined degree according to pixel values of a plurality of pixels in the difference images; if the variation degree is over the predetermined degree, detecting a variation range formed by the pixels having the pixels values to which a predetermined variation is occurred in each of the difference images and determining whether a variation frequency of the pixel values within the detected variation range is over a predetermined frequency; and if the variation frequency is over the predetermined frequency, determining that a wave movement appears in the images.
Abstract: A dispensing closure for dispensing fluid product from a squeeze container consists of an outer cap element (3) and an inner element or valve disc (4) fitting inside the cap element. Each is moulded from thermoplastics; no elastomer is used. The cap element includes an outwardly-deflectable diaphragm wall (35) around a central outlet opening (361). The inner element (4) has a peripheral mounting ring (41), a central blocking portion (48) and a set of support spokes (46) providing flow clearance between them. In a closed position the blocking portion closes the outlet opening. In an outflow condition the diaphragm wall (35) deflects outwardly to allow flow. In a recovery mode the blocking portion (48) deflects inwardly for compensation air or residual liquid product to enter the container.
Abstract: Provided is a technique that improves the heat dissipation properties of a wire that is arranged in a conduction path. A conduction path has a wire, a routing member that is made of a metal and has a routing groove in which the wire is routed, a bracket that is made of a metal and has a first mounting portion that is mounted to the routing member and has a second mounting portion that is mounted to an electrical connection box, and a heat transfer member that is made of a synthetic resin having a higher heat conductivity than air and is arranged in the routing groove and interposed between the wire and the routing member, in a region that corresponds to a portion of the routing member to which the first mounting portion is mounted.
Abstract: An information processing device that receives, from another information processing device, a communication message generated based on recency information and control data, includes: a recency information generation unit that generates the recency information; and a recency information management unit that extracts the recency information from the received communication message.
Abstract: An electric control device for vehicles capable of updating an old program stored in a storage unit with a new program. A reception unit sequentially receives a plurality of pieces of division data acquired by dividing difference data, which includes a data section based on a difference between the old program and the new program and a command section used for generating the new program by reflecting the data section on the old program, or difference compression data acquired by compressing the difference data for every predetermined data length A restoration process restores the new program based on each division data received by the reception unit and the old program. If at least a part of the command section and the data section is not included in the division data received by the reception unit, the restoration unit suspends the restoration process and waits for reception of next division data.
Abstract: An uninterruptible power supply comprising a first switch unit, a charging circuit, a first voltage conversion circuit, a second voltage conversion circuit, a second switch unit and a control circuit is provided. When the uninterruptible power supply performs a battery activation operation, the control circuit controls the first switch unit to provide the AC power received by the uninterruptible power supply to a terminal of a bypass path, controls the first switch unit to provide the output of a battery to the first voltage conversion circuit, controls the second switch unit to electrically couple the output terminal of the uninterruptible power supply to the other terminal of the bypass path, controls the charging circuit to stop charging the battery, and controls the first voltage conversion circuit to perform a DC-DC conversion operation. In addition, a corresponding battery activation operation method is also provided.
Abstract: A lifting device on a heavy goods vehicle is described, for lifting and emptying waste collection containers, having a telescopically extensible boom, which has a coupling tool for coupling to a waste collection container. An extensible support is attached on a rotating platform and has at least one interleaved, telescopically extensible profile, wherein the boom is provided at the upper end of the support with a pivot element between boom and support, so that the boom is pivotable in a vertical plane about a pivot axis. The extensible profile is designed as an internal runner having a fixed tube and runners having a polygonal footprint, and a carrier head is provided at the end of the support, which is formed as L-shaped having an overhanging carrier plate in relation to the support, which carrier plate has the pivot axis of the boom and a support for the pivot element.
Abstract: Measuring equipment for a crimp connection comprises a signal processing unit (150), a ranging sensor arrangement (100) based on using optical radiation, and a moving mechanism (102) that moves a formed crimp connection (104) and the ranging sensor arrangement (100) in relation to each other. The ranging sensor arrangement (100) measures the distance between the ranging sensor arrangement (100) and crimp connection (104) while the ranging sensor arrangement (100) and moving mechanism (102) are moved in relation to each other. The signal processing unit (150) generates surface profile data on the basis of the measured distances, uses the surface profile data of the crimp connection (104) to determine the quality of the crimp connection (104), and displays data related to the crimp connection (104).
Abstract: Systems and methods integrate disparate backup devices with a unified interface. In certain examples, a management console manages data from various backup devices, while retaining such data in its native format. The management console can display a hierarchical view of the client devices and/or their data and can further provide utilities for processing the various data formats. A data structure including fields for storing both metadata common to the client device data and value-added metadata can be used to mine or process the data of the disparate client devices. The unified single platform and interface reduces the need for multiple data management products and/or customized data utilities for each individual client device and provides a single pane of glass view into data management operations. Integrating the various types of storage formats and media allows a user to retain existing storage infrastructures and further facilitates scaling to meet long-term management needs.
