Abstract: The present invention reduces contact noise between a turntable and a clamper without increasing the number of components. Spring pieces are formed by forming slit grooves in the corners of a support plate. When the support plate is secured by screws to bosses of a frame, the spring pieces formed in the four corners of the support plate are elastically contacted with the frame, with the support plate slightly floated from the frame. Thereby, vibration transmitted to the support plate from the clamper is absorbed by the spring pieces, thus suppressing noise caused by the vibration transmitted to the support plate.

Abstract: Noise produced when a turntable comes into contact with a damper is reduced without increasing the number of parts. A metallic support plate is suspended on a top surface of a frame and the support plate is provided with a damper facing a turntable. The support plate is provided with long holes so as to suppress vibration transmitting from the damper to the support plate when the turntable and the damper contact each other by means of the long holes. This restrains a sound of contact between the turntable and damper from being amplified through the vibration of the support plate.

Abstract: To reduce abnormal sound produced by contact between a clamper and a turntable between which hold and sandwich a disk. When a magnet provided for a turntable and a magnetic substance for a clamper provided for the clamper in a vertically movable manner are attracted toward each other by a magnetic force, a protrusion formed in an underside of the clamper pushes the turntable, which causes a curved part of the clamper to deform and causes the magnetic substance for the clamper to move in an opposite direction against the attraction toward the magnet by the magnetic force. This allows the curved part to attenuate impact accompanying the contact between the clamper and the turntable.

Abstract: The dead storage of recorded programs stored in a storage device of a recording/reproducing apparatus is minimized to achieve an effective use of the recorded programs. At power-on, the recording/reproducing apparatus endlessly reproduces the recorded programs from an HDD till power-off, as giving priority to the control of video recording and reproducing operations. A reproducing start position controller overwritably stores a reproducing end position of the endless reproducing at power-off, and sets a reproducing start position of the endless reproducing to the previous reproducing end position so stored therein. When a free channel is selected as a receiver channel, a monitor output controller provides monitor outputs of the recorded program subjected to the endless reproducing instead of outputting signals received on the free channel, whereby the recorded program is displayed.

This makes it possible to remove the MPEG substrate 10 which is unnecessary in the case of a disk device non-integrated type construction, use the mounting parts formed in the LCD cover 8 for attaching the MPEG substrate 10 as mounting parts of the power substrate 12 as they are and eliminate the necessity for an outside power device such as an AC adapter.

Abstract: The invention provides at low cost a graphic display device which can display video with a video signal in a predetermined format and includes an external input portion capable of having a signal other than the video signal in the predetermined format inputted thereto, where the graphic display device can notify a user in the case where an inputted video signal is in an unsupported format. A synchronizing signal is extracted by a video signal processing portion from a video signal inputted from an external input portion, and it is determined whether or not the video signal is in an unsupported format by a microcontroller so as to indicate that it is an unsupported signal on a display according to a determination result. It is thereby possible to realize the function just by handling of software of the microcontroller with no need to change a circuit configuration.

Abstract: A second land SLG has a size to pool a sufficient quantity of solder H for allowing the steps of shorting and unshorting a first land SLP and the second land SLG to be repeated plural times. Out of the solder H initially supplied to a short land portion, therefore, a solder portion H bridging a gap between the first and second lands SLP, SLG for shorting may be transferred to and pooled on the second land SLG, whereby the shorted state may be eliminated. When the short land portion is reshorted, the short land portion may be electrically shorted by transferring the solder H on the second land SLG to the first land SLP. This permits the steps of shorting and unshorting the short land portion to be repeated plural times without replenishing fresh solder H. Thus, the solder H may be saved.
