  • Patent number: 11514529
Abstract: Systems and methods for intellectual property (IP) asset protection are disclosed. For example, by analyzing characteristic information associated with a user, along with feedback from one or more potential insurers, the system may determine various terms of an insurance policy for protecting the user against claims of IP infringement. The policy may provide for financial reimbursement for costs incurred while taking active measures to mitigate losses and/or defend against such claims. In addition, the system may analyze the characteristic information to identify various users having a low exposure of an infringement claim being asserted. The identified users may be actively targeted to acquire an IP protection policy.

  • Patent number: 11508006
Abstract: Systems and methods for digital property collateral protection are disclosed. For example, a pre-underwriting analysis may be performed to ascertain the quality of a given borrower and the intellectual property associated with the borrower. If the borrower passes the pre-underwriting analysis, an underwriting analysis including an intellectual property valuation may be performed. If the borrower passes the underwriting analysis and the terms of a loan and insurance policy are otherwise agreed upon, a lender may issue a loan to the borrower with the intellectual property as collateral, and an insurer may issue an insurance policy to the lender to insure against covered events.

  • Patent number: 11393237
Abstract: Automatic processing of documents often generates results far different from those obtained by manual human processing. For a given document processing task, many different techniques can be tried but it is often not known which will best emulate manual, human processing. This application discloses data processing equipment and methods specially adapted for a specific application: analysis of the breadth of documents. The processing may include context-dependent pre-processing of documents and sub-portions of the documents. The sub-portions may be analyzed based on word count and commonality of words in the respective sub-portions. The equipment and methods disclosed herein improve upon other automated techniques to provide document processing by achieving a result that is quantitatively closer to manual, human processing.

  • Patent number: 11301440
Abstract: The disclosure provides an efficient dataset search and/or deduplication that improve the speed and efficiency of dataset record search and/or deduplication over traditional methods. Certain implementations apply field-level deletion neighborhood processing to ordered field permutations of dataset records encoded with hash values. A method includes determining a field-level deletion neighborhood for two or more field combinations of the record by determining field hash values, creating field permutations, determining combined record hash values for each permutation; and associating each record hash value to the unique entity identifier. The method includes searching other entity representation records for matching combined record hash values, and assigning one or more of a unique entity identifier and a duplicate entity identifier to the other entity representation records having the matching combined record hash values.

  • Patent number: 11274464
Abstract: A modular safety shelter provides protection from fragment, overpressure, radiation, and toxic hazards through a combination of physical design of modular segments, of joint seals between modular segments, of door assemblies, and of HVAC control systems. The modular shelter is formed of two or more prefabricated concrete modular segments each including a built-in foundation, roof, and side walls, and a prefabricated concrete vestibule segment providing an airlock-like access to the shelter. The prefabricated modular segments and vestibule segment are transported to a site and assembled to each other on-site to provide a fully enclosed space within the modular shelter. A multi-layer joint seal is formed between adjacent modular segments to prevent ingress of toxic, flammable, or thermal hazards. An integrated HVAC controller monitors toxic or flammable hazards outside and inside of the shelter, and controls HVAC systems to minimize spread of contaminants upon detecting a hazard.
