    Abstract: A sport fishing seat for fishing boats is provided with a saddle seat and a foot pedal assembly. In one version the foot pedal assembly pivots of the seat support which enables a fisherman to utilize the leg muscles while reeling in a game fish. The foot pedal assembly in that version includes a tubular post which receives the butt end of the fishing rod while at the lower end thereof the pedal portion may be engaged by the feet of the fisherman. This assembly is pivotally mounted on a bracket means extending laterally outward from underneath the seat proper and this enables the fisherman to utilize his leg muscles to greater advantage in playing and landing a game fish. In all saddle seat versions the fisherman has his legs on either side of the saddle seat and is a convenient arrangement for small boats, little space being taken up by the seat and pedestal.

    Abstract: To reduce the construction expense and the space required for a fuel injection pump for supplying a plurality of cylinders of an engine, in particular an internal combustion engine having externally supplied ignition, a fuel injection pump including a drive shaft with a single common cam drives a plurality of pump plungers. The supply quantity is controlled via a rotary slide and a subsequent common distributor delivers the fuel to the injection nozzles at the injection sites of the engine. The quantity of fuel injected is effected by an electrically controlled valve seated in a relief line that branches off downstream of the rotary slide, which by closure of the relief line determines the injection phase.

    Abstract: The driving mechanism for a wiper of a motor vehicle includes a reversible drive shaft, a two part crank whose one part is secured to the drive shaft and whose other part is linked to the wiper to oscillate the same when the drive shaft rotates in one direction. To displace the wiper into rest position outside its wiping field when the wiping operation is switched off, there is provided a control plate rotatable about the drive shaft and supporting a swing lever provided with a lock pawl. The drive shaft passes through a cylindrical support fixed to the frame of the motor vehicle and being provided on its jacket with an indentation for receiving the lock pawl.

    Abstract: After sawtooth wave deflection signals are corrected in a summing circuit for position, magnitude, shape, they are keyed by a blanking circuit, within a blanking interval of the video signal, for briefly inserting a low-voltage reference potential. This is done before the corrected deflection signals are capacitively coupled to high voltage amplifying circuits supplying an electrostatic deflection plate of a camera tube. The high voltage amplifiers are equipped with a clamping circuit timed to clamp the high voltage output to a high voltage reference potential during substantially the same intervals in which the low voltage wave is keyed for insertion of the low voltage reference potential. The vertical deflection signals are keyed at low voltage and clamped at high voltage at the vertical scanning frequency. The horizontal deflection signals may be keyed and clamped either at the horizontal scanning frequency or, for saving of expense and equipment, at the vertical scanning frequency.

The throttles are adjusted by a regulating signal corresponding to the difference between an actual position signal delivered by a position sensor coupled to the throttle valve, and a desired position sensor coupled for example to a gas pedal of the motor vehicle.

    Abstract: An accumulator comprises a cylinder formed with a substantially closed chamber and a piston formed with a small-diameter central region and a pair of large-diameter end regions flanking the central region and each formed with an outwardly open annular groove. This piston subdivides the chamber into a gas compartment at one of the end regions, a liquid compartment at the other end region, and an annular charging compartment surrounding the central region. The piston is displaceable in the cylinder to oppositely vary the volumes of the gas and liquid compartments. Respective gas and liquid seals are engaged in the grooves between the gas- and liquid-compartment end regions of the piston and the cylinder and are both constructed to inhibit fluid flow from the respective gas and liquid compartments into the charging compartment.

    Abstract: Method and apparatus for cleaning clogged dental equipment lines, such as water and air lines and drains, for a wide variety of dental equipment such as cuspidors and handpieces. One embodiment has an air hose connected to a connector for a handpiece for a drill, etc., wherein the connector has an interior plastic insert which closes off air to the holes in the drill for drive and exhaust air and allows air through two holes which connect with the spray air and water ports of the handpiece for the drill whereby the air blows out the clogged slits. Another embodiment uses the air hose with a rubber nozzle to blow clogged suction lines. Another embodiment has a rubber element with a hole in its middle which fits over the discharge hole in the cuspidor, whereby the air blows out the debris clogging the cuspidor hole and connecting lines.

    Abstract: A fuel injection pump for internal combustion engines having an electromagnetic final control element, which in order to adjust the end or onset of injection engages a control slide, located in the pump interior. Via a control shaft, the final control element chamber is hermetically sealed off from the pump interior in order to keep water contained in the fuel from reaching current-carrying parts of the final control element. As a result, fluid communication exists only via the bearing gap of the slide bearing of the control shaft and the bearing gap functions as a throttle. The throttle forms a water separator, which further reduces the concentration of water in the already small quantity of fuel reaching the final control element chamber through the throttle.

    Abstract: The proposed vehicle brake system has wheel brakes, a master brake cylinder, an auxiliary pressure source, and a brake booster supplied from it for actuating the master brake cylinder, as well as an apparatus capable of preventing the danger of skidding and limiting drive slip at driven wheels. To prevent the danger of skidding, valves disposed between the master brake cylinder and the wheel brakes are provided by means of which the wheel brakes can be disconnected from the master brake cylinder and connected to a pressure fluid supply container to reduce the brake pressure. For replacing the quantities of pressure fluid diverted into this pressure fluid supply container, the valves are connected to the brake booster. To enable limiting drive slip at driven wheels at little expense for additional valves, valves embodied as 2/2-way valves are connected between the wheel brakes of driven wheels and their associated valves also communicate with the auxiliary pressure source.
