  • Patent number: 4655511
Abstract: A method and a multi-circuit brake booster for feeding back disruptions of any arbitrary kind, even of an associated anti-skid brake system, to a then-changed brake pedal characteristic, the influence on the brake valve triggering being effected via a travel simulator device. The transmitting member in the travel simulator device is a travel simulator spring enabling a predetermined idle pedal travel, and this spring responds whenever, in response to an arbitrarily generated disruption signal, a lockable storage element assumes its other position and mechanically engages a transmitting member in the chain from brake pedal actuation to brake valve slide actuation in an arresting manner. Upon reaching a predetermined amount of biasing, as a result of the further compression of the travel simulator spring, the opening of the brake valve then takes place abruptly, with a corresponding increase in brake pressure and a corresponding increase in vehicle deceleration.

  • Patent number: 4655184
Abstract: A fuel injection apparatus for internal combustion engines in which beyond a predetermined remaining stroke during the supply stroke of the pump piston, a relief conduit is opened via a control edge. The same control edge closes the relief conduit once again during the intake stroke. During the subsequent effective intake stroke, the quantity of fuel to be injected upon the following compression stroke is metered by means of the electrically actuatable valve. The magnetic valve here is already opened before the closure of the relief conduit by the control edge, so that in the opening phase of the relief conduit, the pump work chamber of the fuel injection apparatus is flushed. In this manner, precise metering of the quantity of fuel to be injected is attained.

  • Patent number: 4654605
Abstract: A resonant circuit which includes the input capacitance of the clock pulse inputs of a shift register (10) is pulsed by a sinusoidal wave at voltage peaks of the wave by an oscillator delivering barely enough energy to overcome the damping of the resonant circuit. The oscillator may be crystal controlled and, instead of having a single ended output for delivering energy only on peaks of one polarity, may be in push-pull form reinforcing oscillation peaks of both polarities. This circuit is easily combined with arrangements for switching oscillator frequency from one value to another and/or arrangements for interrupting the clock pulse output for timed intervals after each loading or unloading of the shift register. The loss power dissipation is reduced to about 6% of the loss power dissipation of a square pulse drive for the clocking of the same shift register.

  • Patent number: 4651624
Abstract: A hydraulic control arrangement for height regulation of an agricultural vehicle has a control valve with a control slider provided with a first piston portion with a control edge and a second piston portion with a throttle point. In the positions of neutral and lifting of the control slider the control edge blocks the communication from a control chamber to a working chamber which is connected with a spring chamber of a throttle valve. In the position of lifting the control edge opens and the pressure medium flows via the throttle point from the working chamber in the control chamber. Thereby the pressure in the spring chamber of the throttle valve is lifted. Therefore a lower neutral circulating pressure and a higher pressure level in the position of lifting is possible.
