  • Patent number: 11694141
Abstract: Workflows stored in a workflow database are annotated, each of the workflows including an ordered sequence of steps. Sub-workflows are extracted from the workflows by splitting the workflows into sub-workflows at annotations that exist between the steps, a first of the sub-workflows including the respective annotation as an output of the first of the sub-workflows, a second of the sub-workflows including the respective annotation as an input to the second of the sub-workflows. Annotations in common between the sub-workflows are identified, including identifying beginning sub-workflows that include the respective annotation as an output and identifying ending sub-workflows that include the respective annotation as an input. The sub-workflows are recombined into new workflows by splicing together the sub-workflows at the annotations in common, such that each new workflow is formed from one of the beginning sub-workflows followed by one of the ending sub-workflows.

Abstract: A cleaning device for a residue contaminated conveyor belt includes a roller arranged below the conveyor belt such that the lateral surface thereof contacts a lower strand of the conveyor belt, and a cleaning belt is arranged below the roller. The lateral surface of the roller contacts an upper strand of the cleaning belt, which is tilted relative to a main conveying direction at the upper strand relative to a longitudinal roller axis. A dispensing device on and/or above the cleaning belt feeds a solvent thereon. The dispensing device and the cleaning belt are relatively arranged such that the solvent from the cleaning belt is conveyed by a conveying movement of the cleaning belt into a region in which the cleaning belt contacts the roller, which via a rotational movement, at least partially picks up the solvent located on the cleaning belt and dispenses it onto the conveyor belt.

  • Patent number: 11685094
Abstract: An injection molding heat removal sensing and control system and method are provided for determining and controlling a heat transfer rate for a mold in a molding machine. The system includes an inflow temperature sensor for sensing an inflow temperature for coolant provided to the mold, an outflow temperature sensor for sensing an outflow temperature for coolant exiting the mold, and a flow rate sensor for sensing a flow rate for coolant through the mold. The electronic processor is also configured to calculate a heat transfer rate for the mold from the inflow temperature, the outflow temperature, the flow rate for the coolant, and the calculated mass and the temperature of the molten plastic. The processor determines a time lag between when heat enters the mold and when heat is removed by the coolant and pre-emptively adjusts coolant flow rate to provide uniform heat transfer throughout a molding cycle. The heat transfer rate and total energy removed can be determined and provided on the display.
