Abstract: A micro-structured reference element for use in a sensor having a substrate and a dielectric membrane. The reference element has an electrical property which changes its value on the basis of temperature. The reference element is arranged with respect to the substrate so that the reference element is (i) electrically insulated from the substrate, and (ii) thermally coupled to the substrate. The reference element is arranged on the underside of the dielectric membrane. The reference element and side walls of the substrate define a circumferential cavern therebetween, which is also bounded by the dielectric membrane, arranged between them. The dielectric membrane is connected to the substrate. A surface area of the reference element which is covered by the dielectric membrane is greater than or equal to 10% and less than or equal to 100% of the possible coverable surface area.

Abstract: A free-tipped axial fan assembly includes fan having a blade tip geometry which provides a desired blade loading in the presence of a tip gap. The maximum camber exhibits a sudden and significant increase as the blade tip radius R is closely approached in the direction of increasing radial position. In some constructions, the maximum camber at the blade tip radius R is at least 10 percent greater than the maximum camber at a radial position r where r/R=0.95. In some constructions, the blade angle increases by more than 0.01 radians from a radial position r where r/R=0.95 to the blade tip radius R. The maximum camber at the blade tip radius R is at least 0.06 times the chord length in some constructions.

Abstract: The invention relates to an electric machine, in particular to a generator for supplying the electrical system of a motor vehicle, comprising a laminated rotor (20) with an energiser winding (29), which provides the energisation for the machine preferably in conjunction with permanent magnets (24, 25) arranged on the rotor periphery. According to the invention, the rotor laminate bundle (21) is made up of at least two part bundles (21a, b) in the axial direction with grooves (40) running into each other and with poles offset relative to each other (32 to 38). A machine with reduced detent torque is thus obtained with grooves (40) aligned parallel to the axis, in which the energiser windings (29) can be placed with a high filling factor and without production difficulties and without the risk of damaging the winding insulation.
Abstract: The invention relates to a plug module (24, 124) for being received in an attachment component (10), which must be contacted at least electrically, particularly a fuel injector for installation in the cylinder head region of an internal combustion engine. Said engine is supplied with fuel via a fuel injection system, which has a low-pressure region. The plug module is a combined plug module (24, 124), which has a first plug part (26) for electrical contacting and a replaceable return component (38, 138) for a fluid to be removed from the attachment component (10).
Abstract: Disclosed is a solenoid valve having a magnet unit and a valve cartridge having a capsule, an armature guided longitudinally in the capsule and connected to a sealing pin guided longitudinally inside a valve insert, and a valve body with a sealing seat; a magnetic force generated by the magnet unit moves the armature together with the sealing pin from an initial position toward the valve body counter to the force of a return spring, causing the sealing pin to move into and close the sealing seat in an end position, where the initial position represents a maximum volumetric flow between a valve inlet and a valve outlet. A spring support is embodied and situated so that the return spring is supported outside the volumetric flow and presses the armature into the initial position against the capsule, and the inlet and outlet are embodied and situated so that the direction of the volumetric flow assists the closing motion of the armature with the sealing pin.

Abstract: A stator for an electrical machine, in particular a rotary current generator, is proposed, in which the stator (36) is made by the flat-packet technique and comprises at least one stator iron (10) and a stator winding (30), and the stator iron (10) has a substantially annular-cylindrical shape, and the stator iron (10) has an axial direction (a) which is oriented in the direction of a cylinder axis, and the stator iron (10) has an end face, oriented in the direction of the cylinder axis and defining a slot area (ANut), and a ratio (A) formed of the slot area (ANut) and the end face area amounts to between 0.4 and 0.8.
Abstract: A transfer arrangement (10) for gripping articles (at 60) comprises a central wheel body with a multiplicity of arms (20), which can be pivoted about a first axis (23) in each case, articulated along its periphery. The arms (20) have a gripper (60) for receiving in each case one or more articles (15). Each gripper (60) can be rotated about a second axis (33) for predetermined positioning of the articles, while the connecting body (30) can be rotated about the first axis (23). The rotary movement of the gripper (60), then, can be transferred to the gripper (60), rotating about the second axis (33), via a shaft (28) arranged along the first axis (23), with the aid of a transfer element (25, 26, 27). Finally, a third axis (43) is arranged on the connecting body (30), between the first and second axes (23, 33).
Abstract: A router has a housing, from the underside of which a tool fitting for a milling tool connected with a drive extends, and a device for adjusting the milling depth, which is located in a tower of the housing, the device extending essentially in the direction of a vertical axis of the router and including an adjusting knob. It is provided that the device extends, at the maximum, to a plane formed by a top side of the housing.
Abstract: A sensor for a transmission-shift control of a motor vehicle is described. The sensor is connectable to a supply voltage (Vs) and to ground (GND). The sensor generates a signal voltage (Vout). The signal voltage (Vout) may assume two signals (high, low), both signals (high, low) being different from the supply voltage (Vs) and from ground (GND).

Abstract: A support arrangement for a reciprocating tool comprises a first locking surface configured to engage a second locking surface in a locking engagement. The first locking surface is secured to the reciprocating tool. The second locking surface is provided on a support foot assembly. A shaft extends between the first locking surface and the second locking surface. The shaft defines a shaft axis that is oriented substantially orthogonal to the tool axis. An adjustment mechanism is positioned on the shaft. The adjustment mechanism is configured to move upon the shaft and clamp the first locking surface and the second locking surface together. In at least one embodiment, a ratchet arrangement is provided in the adjustment mechanism. The ratchet arrangement limits the extent that the adjustment mechanism may be tightened to clamp the first locking surface to the second locking surface.
Abstract: The present invention relates to a SPC comprising at least one data processing means for realizing a first data channel 1 and a second data channel 2, and comprising a data transmission means 3 which is connected to data channels 1,2 in a manner such that, using data transmission means 3, data may be transferred from at least one data channel 1, 2 to a higher-order device 5 that is connectable to the controller. The object of the present invention is to further increase the safety of safety controllers. This aim is achieved by providing an active data lock 4, using which it is possible to influence the data transmission—which may be realized using data transmission means 3—to higher-order device 5. As a result, only error-free data are sent via higher-order device 5 to external I/O assemblies.
