  • Patent number: 8971076
Abstract: A first error amplification circuit amplifies a difference between a predetermined reference voltage and a first detection voltage that corresponds to the output voltage of a DC/DC converter, so as to generate a second voltage. A voltage level judgment circuit generates a third voltage having a discrete level that corresponds to the amplitude of a first voltage. A multiplying/dividing circuit multiplies the first voltage by the second voltage, and divides the resulting product by the third voltage, so as to generate a fourth voltage. A comparator compares the fourth voltage with a second detection voltage that corresponds to a current that flows through a switching transistor included in the DC/DC comparator. A driving circuit turns on the switching transistor for each predetermined period, and turns off the switching transistor according to the output of the comparator every time the second detection voltage becomes higher than the fourth voltage.

  • Patent number: 8963452
Abstract: A motor drive device has: a power supply line to which a power supply voltage is applied; a ground line to which a ground voltage is applied; and a first motor driver that, when the power supply voltage is normal, rotates an N-phase first motor (where N is an integer of 2 or more) by using the supply voltage and, when the power supply voltage is abnormal, generates a rectified voltage from phase voltages of different phases appearing while the first motor is idling to regenerate the rectified voltage to the power supply line. The first motor driver, when generating the rectified voltage, boosts the rectified voltage by periodically repeating a brake cycle to make all the terminals of the different phases of the first motor conduct to the ground line and a boost cycle to rectify the phase voltages of the different phases synchronously while making at least one of the terminals of the different phases conduct to the power supply line.

  • Patent number: 8957692
Abstract: Provided is a method for performing a burn-in test on an object under test in which a plurality of electrodes are provided in positions at different heights. The method comprising steps of: preparing an object under test in which an electrode in a higher position have a higher surface roughness among the plurality of electrodes; bringing a plurality of sheet-type probes into contact with the plurality of electrodes, respectively; and supplying an electric current with the plurality of electrodes through the plurality of sheet-type probes. By implementing the method, the sheet-type probes can be kept in stable contact with the electrodes because electrodes in a higher position have a higher surface roughness Ra than electrodes in a lower position. Consequently, stable and reliable burn-in test can be performed.
