Abstract: A method of controlling the crushing of material in an inertia cone crusher includes the step of charging material to be crushed from a feeding hopper to a crushing chamber formed between an inner crushing shell being supported on a crushing head, and an outer crushing shell of the inertia cone crusher. An unbalance bushing, which is provided with an unbalance weight and rotatably connected to the crushing head by a drive shaft, is rotated such that a central axis of the crushing head gyrates about a gyration axis. The number of revolutions of the unbalance bushing is sensed using an rpm sensor. The number of revolutions of the unbalance bushing is controlled by a control system and the material is crushed in the crushing chamber.

Abstract: A gyratory crusher topshell and topshell assembly including an outer crushing shell and optional intermediate spacer ring. The topshell has a radially inward facing surface that is divided into a plurality of regions including an upper and lower mount region axially separated by an intermediate annular rib. Abstract: An austenitic alloy for high temperature use, particularly for use in resistance heating elements. The alloy includes primarily the elements Fe, Ni, and Cr, and it has the following main composition, given in weight %, Ni 38-48, Cr 18-24, Si 1.0-1.9, C<0.1, and the balance Fe. The alloy provides good hot form stability, good oxidation resistance, and a relatively high electrical resistance coupled with a low change in resistance as a function of temperature.
Abstract: Rotatable drilling tool has an insert top detachably connectable to a basic body and at least one chip flute. In each cross-section, each chip flute has a depth equal to the difference between the radius of a cutting circle and a radius of a greatest possible core circle centered on the longitudinal axis and tangential to a limiting curve of the respective chip flute. The basic body is divided longitudinally into a coupling segment, extending axially rearward from a coupling end, and a transportation segment that is situated axially behind the coupling segment, extends rearward toward a fixing end, and is longer than the coupling segment. Each chip flute extends through the coupling segment and the transportation segment. At least essentially the entire female part is situated in the coupling segment, and each chip flute has a smaller depth in the coupling segment than in the transportation segment.

Abstract: A milling tool is disclosed having a front head and a rear holder, which are detachably connected by means of a male/female coupling as well as a screw and a washer. Via a main duct, cooling liquid is fed to a chamber, from which it is fed out via branch ducts to individual milling inserts. The front chamber is closed by means of a cover that is held applied against a ring surface surrounding the chamber. The cover is tightenable by means of a threaded joint that is operative independently of a threaded joint between the screw and a front section of the main duct.

The steel is mainly intended for small/thin dimensions and/or low cutting speeds during manufacture of a product formed of the steel.

Abstract: In one aspect, the invention relates to a double-sided, indexable milling insert comprising two rake faces, between which there extends a circumferential clearance face that, in transition to the rake faces, together with the same, forms peripheral cutting edges. Each rake face including lock means for rotationally securing the milling insert in one of several index positions. Along the periphery of the individual rake face, a plurality of tangentially spaced-apart cutting edges are formed, which individually rise at an acute pitch angle from a first end toward a second one. A rake surface is positioned radially inside the individual cutting edge following the cutting edge by rising from a lower boundary line to a crest, via which the same transforms into a declining shoulder surface, which serves as a rotationally securing lock means. In addition, each rake face comprises individual bearing surfaces, which are situated between pairs of adjacent rake surfaces and on a different level from the same.
Abstract: A cone crusher includes an outer crushing shell and an inner crushing shell forming a crushing gap there between. The outer crushing shell is supported on an upper frame member in vertically adjustable engagement with a lower frame member. A sensor arrangement having a sensor element is provided for measuring the vertical position of the outer crushing shell. The cone crusher further includes a target means arranged to be detectable by the sensor element, wherein one of the target means and the sensor element are arranged to follow vertical movement of the upper frame member and to move in relation to the other one of the target means and the sensor element. The sensor element includes a vertical sensing array which extends in a vertical direction along at least a portion of a range within which the target means may be moved upon adjusting the vertical position of the upper frame member.

Abstract: A holder assembly for a cutting tool insert for machining operations. The holder assembly has first and second spaced apart clamping members, each having respective inner seating surfaces facing one another and defining an intermediate gap to receive the cutting tool. The clamping members are movable towards each other by a clamping mechanism to clamp and secure the cutting tool insert between the seating surfaces. The clamping mechanism includes a drawbar that is received in a cavity formed in each of the clamping members and are aligned with each other and extends in a transverse direction in relation to the intermediate gap. The clamping mechanism also includes a compression spring member, which presses the clamping members towards each other to secure clamping of the cutting tool insert. The clamping mechanism is released by a releasing member that overcomes the spring force acting to move the clamping members towards each other.
Abstract: An indexable cutting insert for chip removing machining includes a plurality of cutting tips that protrude from a central core. Each of the individual tips include a cutting edge, which is formed in a transition between an upper side serving as chip surface and a clearance surface, which extends between the upper side and an under side. The cutting insert has six equally long cutting tips that are located in pairs along the co-ordinate axes of a three-dimensional, orthogonal system of co-ordinates, the origin of which is situated in the core. By arranging the cutting tips in this way, the inactive cutting tips, which are situated behind an active cutting tip, can be contained within a limited volume and therefore be installed in tool basic bodies having tapering parts. A tool equipped with the cutting insert according to the invention, as well as, a tool basic body is disclosed.
