Abstract: A pant type disposable absorbent article including a front body panel, a back body panel positioned at a distance from said front body panel, and an absorbent member; the absorbent article having a longitudinal central axis X-X and a transverse central axis Y-Y; the front body panel being substantially rectangular, and having a waist edge, two side edges, and an inward edge including a crotch edge and leg opening edges on each side of the crotch edge, between the crotch edge and each side edge, the front body panel being at least partially elasticized, the back body panel having a waist edge, two side edges, a crotch edge, and leg opening edges on each side of the crotch edge, between the crotch edge and each side edge, wherein a distance from the crotch edge to the waist edge is greater than the length of the side edges.

Abstract: A pump includes a housing forming a chamber; a dispensing opening; and a regulator fixedly arranged in the chamber. The regulator includes an inner valve for regulating a flow of liquid between the container and the chamber; an outer valve for regulating a flow of liquid between the chamber and the dispensing opening; a stem resilient along its length, sideways bendable, and extending in a longitudinal direction of the housing between the inner valve and the outer valve; and a displacement guide located at an outer portion of the stem on an inner side of the outer valve. An outer perimeter of the displacement guide and a portion of an internal surface of a guide region located adjacent the displacement guide are adapted to transfer the sideways bending of the stem to a relative displacement between the outer valve and the housing along the longitudinal direction of the housing.

Abstract: A method for producing a chassis web which may be further converted into a disposable pant article and a pant article is disclosed. The method includes feeding a continuous base web in a machine direction; attaching a continuous elastic waistband component to the base web in an attachment area; severing the base web and the attached elastic waistband component by cutting; shifting positions of the first panel web and the second panel web in a cross machine direction, thereby bringing the first and the second panel webs into an arrangement with first and second cut edges facing away from each other in the cross machine direction; directly or indirectly connecting the first side edge of the first panel web with the second side edge of the second panel web thereby forming a coherent chassis web.

Abstract: A packaging unit includes a sheet of packaging material and a disposable hygiene article extending in a longitudinal direction of the elongated sheet and placed on the inner surface of the sheet such that it fits within an area limited by side edge zones and a first longitudinal end zone. The unit is formed by folding the elongated sheet and the disposable hygiene article. The first longitudinal end zone includes at least two adjacent, in the direction transverse to the longitudinal direction of the elongated sheet, resealable adhesive coating strings that extend along the length of the first longitudinal end zone and the strings are arranged such that a central adhesive free area is formed. This adhesive area functions as a gripping gap. A method of forming the packaging unit is also described.

Abstract: An end plug to be inserted axially into the centre of an end of a roll of paper, includes a holding element adapted to hold and/or guide the end of the roll of paper in correct position in a dispenser. The end plug includes an outer sleeve having an outer end and an inner end and the holding element is connected to the sleeve by elements allowing the holding element to be axially moved from a first position to a second position, in which the holding element protrude outwardly from the outer end of the sleeve, the holding element being releasably held in the first position when moved thereto. A roll of tissue paper including such an end plug and a dispenser provided with such a roll are also disclosed.

Abstract: A method for producing a chassis web for a disposable pant article, the method including feeding a first continuous base web in a machine direction; attaching a continuous elastic waistband component to the first base web in an attachment area extending in the machine direction; attaching a second continuous base web to the first continuous base web and the continuous waistband component, covering at least the continuous waistband component, thereby forming a compound base web having first and second side edges, the attachment area being spaced apart from at least one of the first and second side edges of the compound base web; severing the compound base web and the attached waistband component by cutting; shifting positions of the first panel web and the second panel web in a cross machine direction; forming a coherent chassis web.

Abstract: A separation unit for separating a web material along preformed lines of weakness. The separation unit has a width direction and includes a first roller having a rotational axis extending in the width direction and a web width extending in the width direction, and a second roller having a rotational axis extending parallel with the rotational axis of the first roller and a web width extending in the width direction. The second roller is positioned at a distance from the first roller. Each of the first and the second rollers is provided with a plurality of protrusion elements being spaced along the rotational axes and protruding perpendicular from the axes. Each of the protrusion elements has a maximum width in the width direction, a maximum radial extension from the rotational axes, an inner portion adjacent to the rotational axes, and an outer portion remote from the rotational axes.

Abstract: A pant-type absorbent article has a longitudinal direction, a transverse direction, an inner surface facing the user during use, an outer surface facing away from the user during use. The article includes: a first body portion, a second body portion and an intermediate crotch portion provided with two leg openings. Outer longitudinal edge portions of the first body portion are adapted to be interconnected to outer longitudinal edge portions of the second body portion by first and second longitudinal refastenable side seam configurations. Each one of the refastenable side seam configurations includes a fastening component bonded to an outer longitudinal edge portion of the first body portion and a mating fastening component bonded to a corresponding outer longitudinal edge portion of the second body portion. Moreover, each one of the fastening components and the mating fastening components includes a first mechanical connector structure and a second mechanical connector structure.

Abstract: A dispenser for dispensing at least one web from a stack of web material is disclosed. The dispenser includes a housing arranged to hold a stack of web material. A web path extends in an interior of the housing in a first direction in a first portion of the housing and in a second direction in a second portion of the housing. The housing includes an access opening providing access to the interior of the housing. The web path is accessible along a third direction, in both the first and second portions of the housing, via the access opening.

Abstract: An apparatus for dispensing paper product has an encasement that is configured to enclose the roll of paper. The encasement has a base at a longitudinal end for supporting the roll of paper in that encasement, with the base including a base opening for the paper to be inserted there through. The base also has an inner surface that is configured to contact the roll of paper, as well as an oppositely disposed outer surface. A dispensing portion of the apparatus is located adjacent the outer surface of the base, and is releasably coupled to the encasement. Coupling between the dispensing portion and the encasement is free of fasteners. The dispensing portion includes a rotatable dispensing element that has a dispensing orifice for dispensing paper from within said encasement to the exterior.

Abstract: A packaging unit for hygiene articles that is formed from a sheet of material having an inner surface comprises an edge zone comprising an inner edge portion and an outer edge portion. At least one of the outer and inner edge portions comprises at least one region provided with a resealable adhesive. The sheet has at least one folding axis dividing said sheet into a first and second regions region. The sheet is folded about said at least one folding axis with said first and second regions in an overlapping configuration, thereby providing a packaging unit. Overlapping outer edge portions of the sheet layers are at least partly adhesive-free and are at least partially connected to each other by a mechanical interaction providing a sealing strength of 0.2 to 1.5 N. A method for forming the packaging unit is provided.

Abstract: An absorbent product includes a liquid pervious topsheet, a liquid impervious backsheet and an absorbent core enclosed between the liquid pervious topsheet and liquid impervious backsheet. The absorbent product has in its longitudinal direction a crotch part and two end parts. The absorbent product includes at least in its crotch part an inlet material having a plurality of openings. The plurality of openings in the inlet material are formed from a plurality of slits extending in the transversal direction of the absorbent product by expanding the continuous inlet material in the longitudinal direction of the absorbent product. The liquid inlet material has in its transversal direction of the absorbent product a central region and two edge regions. The openings are located in the central region so that the central region of the material with the plurality of openings has a lesser degree of elasticity than the edge regions.
