Abstract: Systems and methods for wireless downhole telemetry are provided. The system includes a tubular located in a wellbore; a pressure controller located at or near a surface of the wellbore to send a digital command via a change in a pressure applied to the tubular; and a receiver disposed in the wellbore, wherein the receiver includes a mechanical pressure switch to detect the change in the pressure applied to the tubular.

Abstract: Systems as described herein may include generating an aggregated service status report for a real-time service delivery platform. A plurality of services running in a service domain may be determined. A request for a status of system behavior corresponding to a particular service may be received. Service connection details of the particular service may be discovered and metric data of real-time data movement may be tracked. Real-time snapshot aggregation of the particular service may be provided. In a variety of embodiments, a real-time system behavior report for the service across availability zones may be presented.

Abstract: Methods and systems are disclosed for providing approved financing in advance of a purchase to a buyer of an item, such as an automobile, and allowing the prospective buyer to maintain control over the financing throughout the sales process. According to disclosed embodiments, a financial service system configures a financing website for the buyer, and receives personal information as well as information relating to the desired item. The financial service system approves loan parameters for the buyer, and provides the user with a link to access the financing website on a mobile device while at a dealership. Financing parameters can thus be edited throughout the process until the final sales agreement, providing the buyer with confidence and flexibility in the buying process.

In an embodiment, a system comprises an authentication server in data communication with a network and a database in data communication with the authentication server. The authentication server is configured to receive an authentication signal from a user device via the network, retrieve a list of merchants having transaction history with an account associated with the account card, and transmit an access token to at least one merchant server selected using the list of merchants.

Abstract: A system and method for providing aural guidance in imaging a document is disclosed. Visually impaired people may have difficulty when imaging a document with a mobile computing device. The system and method may analyze the image of the document in the imaging device, and output one or more aural directions in order for the user to move the document and/or camera for proper imaging of the document. In that regard, those with visual impairments may be assisted in imaging documents using a mobile computing device.

Abstract: An expedited payment service may be accessed through a browser extension. As an extension operates in a manner in which it has access to the underlying merchant data, the extension may allow an expedited payment service to work with virtually any merchant web site to complete payment transactions.

Abstract: A locomotive, a first chopper circuit, and a second chopper circuit integrating a traction motor with an energy storage device are disclosed. The locomotive includes a prime mover, an energy management device, a DC power bus, a traction motor, an energy storage device, a resistor grid, and a chopper circuit. Each chopper circuit is controlled by the energy management device and includes a plurality of power semiconductors with variable switching frequency. The traction motor may be capable of operating in a motoring mode, where power is controllably supplied by either the prime mover and/or the energy storage device; and a dynamic braking mode, where generated power is controllably allocated to the energy storage device and/or the resistor grid.

Abstract: Systems and methods for harvesting geothermal energy use temperature-based flow control to optimize the extraction of thermal energy from a geothermal reservoir. In one example, a thermal transport fluid is flowed into a wellbore traversing a thermal reservoir of a formation. Flow of the thermal transport fluid into and out of the thermal reservoir is dynamically controlled at each of a plurality of injection and/or return locations in response to a downhole parameter such as temperature. For example, flow may be controlled so that the flow into the thermal reservoir is greater at the injection locations where the temperature is hotter and that the flow out of the thermal reservoir is greater at the return locations where the temperature is hotter. The thermal transport fluid produced from the return locations is then conveyed to surface to extra the thermal energy.

The platform may receive, from a user, personally identifiable information (PII) related to a consumer and determine one or more verifications requested by the user. The verifications may be one or more of a government identification (ID) verification, a credit bureau verification, or a mobile network operator verification. The platform may send a SMS message to the consumer for consent approval and receive consent from the consumer. The platform may perform the one or more verifications, generate an identity proofing result based on the performed one or more verifications, encrypt the identity proofing result, and send the identity proofing result to the user.

Abstract: Systems and methods for management of an account switch are disclosed. An account switch management system may include one or more memory devices storing software instructions, and one or more processors configured to execute the software instructions to receive a list of transaction entries to be switched from a first account to a second account and account information associated with the first account and the second account. The one or more processors may also determine a recommendation relating to a customer action based on the transaction entries and the account information. The one or more processors may provide the list of transaction entries and account information and the recommendation to the client device. The one or more processors may also receive a request from the client device to complete an action and transmit a notification to a processing device to complete the action.

Abstract: This disclosure relates generally to method and system for spiking neural network based ECG classifier for wearable edge devices. Employing deep neural networks to extract the features from ECG signal have high computational intensity and large power consumption. The spiking neural network of the present disclosure obtains a training dataset comprising a plurality of ECG time-series data. The spiking neural network comprise a reservoir-based spiking neural network and a feed forward based spiking neural network. Each of the spiking neural network having a logistic regression-based ECG classifier are trained to classify one or more class labels. The peak-based spike encoder of each spiking neural network obtains a plurality of encoded spike trains from the plurality of ECG time-series. The peak-based spike encoder provides high performance for classifying one or more labels. Efficacy of the peak-based spike encoder for classification is experimentally evaluated with different datasets.
