  • Patent number: 11518645
Abstract: A lightweight paper tube structure capable of high loading is provided. The tube structure comprises an inner tube and an outer tube with an annular space being formed between the outer tube and the inner tube; a first paper ring and a second paper ring fitted at two ends of the annular space respectively, and a foamed body discposed in the annular space, the annular foamed body being supported between the outer tube and the inner tube. The structure enables the paper tube to retain a light weight and can also enhance the loading strength of the paper tube, thus achieving the substantial effect of preventing deformation.

  • Patent number: 11511477
Abstract: A flexible packaging laminate has built-in opening/reclose and tam per-evidence features by forming the laminate from an outer structure joined in face-to-face relation to an inner structure. Score lines are formed in both structures to enable an opening to be formed through the laminate by lifting a flap or the like out of the plane of the laminate. The score line through the outer structure defines a larger opening than the score line through the inner structure, such that a marginal region of the outer structure extends beyond the edge of the opening portion of the inner structure. A pressure-sensitive adhesive is used to re-adhere the marginal region to an underlying surface of the inner structure adjacent the opening through the laminate. The outer score line includes at least one tear portion that is torn through upon initial opening, thus indicating the package has been at least partially opened.

  • Patent number: 11505396
Abstract: The invention comprises a dispensing device having an elongated body, a sidewall which is elliptical in at least a portion of its cross-section, an open top end, and a dispensing bottom end. The device comprises a ratchet, ratchet support member, dial, telescoping members, and an elliptical plunger. The ratchet support member and dial each engage the ratchet to allow movement in certain directions and prevent movement in other directions, beyond a certain point. A first telescoping member is affixed to the ratchet. The exterior diameter of a second telescoping member is smaller than the interior diameter of the first telescoping member, such that the second telescoping member is configured to nest within the interior of the first telescoping member. The second telescoping member may be extended a distance through the dispenser body via rotation of the ratchet. The plunger is affixed to the telescoping member having the smallest diameter.

  • Patent number: 11267203
Abstract: A heat plate lock assembly for a heat scaling machine may include clamp plates mounted on either side of a heater assembly that are movable relative to the heater assembly and engage and support a heat plate beneath a heater platen of the heater assembly. Lift arms may be mounted to and movable relative to the heater assembly, and operatively connected to the clamp plates so that movement of the lift arms causes movement of the clamp plates relative to the heater assembly. In an open position, the heat plate can be inserted between and removed from between the clamp plates. In a closed position, the clamp plates move the heat plate into contact with the heater platen and a lock mechanism engages the heater assembly to retain the heat plate lock assembly in the closed position.
