Abstract: A refrigeration chiller makes use of the flow of oil from an oil sump location to the chiller's compressor to power an eductor to return oil which has made its way to the evaporator of the chiller system from the evaporator to the compressor.
Abstract: A ligating clip includes a substantially planar head portion and at least two legs each extending away from the head portion. The head portion is resilient and spring biased toward a closed position, and the legs can be positioned in a plane defining an angle with the planar head portion of greater than about 90° and less than about 180°, which provides for better visibility of clips during application of the clip.
Abstract: Unauthorized alteration of a document can be avoided in a secure document that includes a substrate (10) defining the body of the document. Indicia (24, 26, 30, 32, 36 and 40) located on the substrate (10) designate an area (42) to receive variable information by an impression. The variable information is that whose alteration is to be avoided. A chemical, carbonless imaging system (44) is disposed on the substrate (10) at the area (42) and is operative to form a visible image upon receipt of an impression and a transparent film (46) is located on the substrate (10) to cover the area (42). As a consequence of the construction, any attempt to alter an image appearing on the film (46) will be apparent from the original imaging of the chemical carbonless imaging system (44) or by smudging thereof indicating an alteration attempt.
Abstract: There are provided a retention means (10) to be positioned in a completely hidden manner within the rear part of the pan (2), and be rigidly fixed to the floor or wall in such a manner as to be supported thereby, and a pair of arm rests (20) which each have one end fixed to the retention means (10) and are supported thereby; the pan (2) is arranged to be fixed to the floor or wall without loading the retention means (10) and vice versa, and has a pair of holes (41) provided in the vertical side walls of its rear part, through which holes the end of the arm rests (20) is fixed to the retention means (10) without loading the pan (2).
Abstract: An elongated extruded strip with a wire core having a selectively positioned neutral bending axis is made by coextruding an elastomeric extrudate at an elevated temperature about a wire core having adjacent parallel transverse wire lengths joined by low temperature threads having a melting point lower than the said elevated temperature while simultaneously feeding at least one high temperature thread into the extruder in bonding relationship to the elastomeric extrudate and in selected position therewith.
