Abstract: An integrated electroluminescent display (DCEL), in which the DCEL (11) is integrated into the substrate board (10), such as, for example, a printed circuit board, which carries associated electronic components (12), such as, for example, those which would make up a control circuit, the DCEL displaying pertinent information for the control circuit. The bottom electrode (13) for the DCEL can be copper foil, which is etched at the same time as the rest of the foil pattern (13A) used to electrically interconnect the control components (12) of the overall control circuit during the making of the printed circuit board. Thereafter, the phosphor layer (14) is printed onto the associated copper foil segments, and, finally, a glass (15), which has on its inner surface an appropriate pattern of tin oxide (16), is placed on top of the phosphor depositions.
Abstract: In a co-rotating scroll apparatus wherein one scroll is a drive scroll and the other scroll is an idler scroll, an axial pressure balancing mechanism and means for discharge pressure balancing is disclosed. The drive scroll wrap is provided with an end plate having a plurality of extension members extending thereform. The extension members extend through corresponding slots in an Oldham coupling ring to drive the idler scroll in relative orbital rotation. The extension members further extend through clearance slots in the end plate of the idler scroll to secure a compression plate and spring biasing the end plate of the idler scroll toward the drive scroll to provide improved axial compliance between the scrolls. Means for axial pressure balancing of the idler scroll shaft and the drive scroll drive shaft are disclosed. The apparatus also includes axial thrust bearings for preventing axial oscillations of the drive and idler scrolls.

Abstract: A mounting assembly to couple a water tank to a water closet is disclosed. The mounting assembly includes a threaded bolt, tubular elastomeric seal member and fastening means. The elastomeric member has centering ribs formed around its outer surface, a flanged head at one end and the other end is bifurcated. When the bolt is inserted therethrough, the elastomeric member expands in the tank mounting opening and the bifurcated end diverges to form a pair of latching tabs to prevent removal of the elastomeric seal member and bolt from the tank mounting opening.

Abstract: A low-profile keyboard switch having an improved guide structure for guiding the vertical motion of the keys. Each key assembly comprises a guide member and a key including a keypad, a downwardly projecting central plunger and a downwardly projecting leg or skirt, the inner dimension of the leg or skirt being greater than the outer dimension of the guide member. The guide member is provided with a generally horizontal central opening adapted to receive the plunger and generally vertical peripheral walls which serve as a bearing surface for slide cams which project inwardly from the inner surface of the leg or skirt. Together the contact between the key, the central opening and the peripheral walls assure a vertical orientation for the key and a reduced resistance to key motion.
