Abstract: The present invention relates to matriptase antibodies and immunoconjugates of matriptase antibodies with cytotoxic agents and the use thereof for killing or inhibiting the growth of matriptase-expressing cancer cells, such as those of multiple myeloma and breast cancers. In particular, immunoconjugates comprising a matriptase monoclonal antibody and anticancer agents such as auristatin, including monomethyl auristatin E (MMAE) and monomethyl auristatin F (MMAF) are introduced, which have potent antitumor activity in vivo. Moreover, importantly; there was no weight loss or other evidence of toxicity in the animals, indicating that no significant free drug was released into the circulation from the conjugate. The present invention also provides compositions comprising these new immunoconjugates and use of them for treatment of malignancies comprising cells that express matriptase.

  • Publication number: 20210184686
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a phase-lock-loop, which includes a phase detector (PD), a charge pump (CP), a sampled lowpass filter structure, and a voltage-controlled oscillator (VCO) structure. The PD is configured to receive a RF output signal from the VCO structure and a reference signal, and generate detection signals, which indicate a phase relationship between the RF output signal and the reference signal. The CP is configured to receive the detection signals and generate a CP current. Herein, the CP current flows into or out of the sampled lowpass filter structure based on the detection signals. The sampled lowpass filter is configured to provide an oscillator control voltage, which remains constant within a cycle of the reference signal, to the VCO structure based on the CP current. Based on the oscillator control voltage, the VCO structure is configured to tune the RF output signal.

  • Patent number: 11033844
Abstract: Stabilized air filters formed from mats of crosslinked protein-containing fibers are provided. The fibers are formed into a mat with pores that allow air to pass through while physically filtering particulate matter. The protein in the protein-containing fibers also serves to chemically filter polluted air passed through the filter. Specifically, chemical functional groups from the many amino acids that comprise the protein of the protein-containing nanowire react with certain chemical pollutants (e.g., carbon monoxide and formaldehyde) in order to capture or otherwise neutralize the pollutant. Accordingly, the single fiber mat performs two filtering functions. Methods for making the air filters from crosslinked protein-containing nanofibers are also provided.
