  • Patent number: 7193699
Abstract: The invention is based on a method and an apparatus for scanning a semiconductor wafer (1), on-the-fly images of regions on the wafer being acquired using a camera (3). Upon a scan line changeover, a continuously curved displacement track is generated by at least partial superimposition of the relative motions between the wafer (1) and camera (3) in the direction of the scan lines and perpendicular thereto. As a result, time is saved and wafer throughput is increased.

  • Patent number: 7191705
Abstract: In a method and device to generate a print image on a carrier material, a surface of a print carrier is coated with a layer which is one of ink-repelling and ink-attracting. In the structuring process, ink-attracting regions and ink-repelling regions are generated. Ink that adheres to the ink-attracting regions and that is not absorbed by the ink-repelling regions is applied on the surface. The applied ink is transferred onto the carrier material. Before a new structure process on the same surface of the print carrier, the surface is cleaned and recoated with said layer. Before the application of said layer, a wetting-aiding substance is applied with a molecular layer thickness. A surfactant with hydrophilic molecule sections is used as the wetting-aiding substance.

  • Patent number: 7190489
Abstract: A method of printing a highlight color image uses half-tone printing reference patterns for generating printing values for a print original image for a standard color and for generating printing values for a print original image for a highlight color. The information pertaining to the color values of the original image that are assigned to a standard color region or to a highlight color region is integrated into the half-tone printing reference patterns, whereby the printing of a highlight image is limited to a selection of the corresponding half-tone printing reference pattern and the acceptance of the printing value indicated in the half-tone printing reference pattern. Only one corresponding selection for determining the printing values for the standard color and for the highlight color is carried out for each image point.

  • Patent number: 7189113
Abstract: A connector includes a plug connector and a mating connector. The plug connector includes a housing with an open front end, an insulated inner conductor disposed within the housing, a clamping sleeve, and an axially movable sliding sleeve disposed radially outside the clamping sleeve. The sliding sleeve can be positioned in a working position where it surrounds the clamping sleeve and exerts a radially inward-directed force. The mating connector, which is receivable within the housing, includes a clamping surface. A force Fr introduced radially from the sliding sleeve toward the clamping sleeve when the sliding sleeve is in the working position, is redirected by the clamping sleeve into an axial force component Fa which is introduced from the clamping sleeve toward the clamping surface.

  • Publication number: 20070051605
Abstract: A cam switch assembly is actuated by movement of a member, such as a part of a convertible top that is pivoted about a first pivot axis toward and away from a surface that is fixed relative to the pivot. The cam switch comprises a holder for at least one switch that is attached to the member. A cam switch actuator having an arm is attached to the holder at a second pivot axis. The cam switch actuator opens and closes the switch as the cam switch actuator is pivoted relative to the holder about the second pivot axis. The arm has a first lost motion connection to the movable member in a first direction. The member has a second lost motion connection at the first pivot axis that is aligned with the first direction when the member is moved into engagement with the surface. • Publication number: 20070052210
Abstract: Described is an interior trim part for covering an airbag, which may include a two-dimensional carrier, a surface decor and a foamed intermediate layer. A through-opening for the airbag is recessed in the carrier, and an inlay covering the through-opening is applied into the intermediate layer, such that the inlay projects beyond an edge of the through-opening on one side and there, in an overlapping region of the inlay and of the carrier, serves as a hinge for an airbag flap formed by the surface decor and the intermediate layer with the inlay. Furthermore, with a folding open of the airbag flap, an energy amount which is dependent on the intensity of an opening impact of the airbag, may be absorbed by way of a release of the intermediate layer with the inlay from the carrier, away from the edge in the overlapping region.

  • Patent number: 7187445
Abstract: A light beam is deflected by refraction and total internal reflection through a first prism, and projected through a first lens onto a scene that is to be scanned. The prism rotates, which varies the deflection angle and scans the beam across the scene along a scan line. Preferably, the successive side surfaces of the prism have different tilt angles relative to the rotation axis, so as to respectively deflect the beam in different deflection planes which cause successive scan lines of the beam across the scene. The emitted beam gives rise to a reflected beam from the scene, which is received through a second lens and deflected onto a photodetector through a second prism congruent to and rotating synchronously with the first prism. This apparatus is suitable as a laser scanning device for an object recognition system or a spacing distance regulation system of a motor vehicle.
