Abstract: A connector includes two housings, a chamber block, and a seal. Passages arranged in a configuration extend through first housing top wall into first housing. Chamber block has chambers arranged in the configuration. Seal has openings arranged in the configuration and attaches to chamber block such that openings align with chambers. First housing houses chamber block and seal such that first housing top wall and chamber block sandwich seal and passages, openings, and chambers align. Second housing has plugs arranged in the configuration. Housings attach together such that first housing side wall and seal sandwich second housing side wall whereby seal seals housings and such that plugs extend into respective sockets in chambers. Electrical leads extend through the aligned passages, openings, and chambers and contact sockets to electrical connect with plugs. The seal simultaneously seals first housing in a region in which leads enter first housing and seals between housings.

  • Publication number: 20070049088
Abstract: An electrical zero insertion force connector includes a first part having two housings, a second part having a plug, and a sleeve contact having contact segments with a gap. A clamp movably connects to the sleeve contact. The second housing movably connects to the first housing. The sleeve contact extends into the first housing such that the clamp engages the first housing and the contact segments engage the second housing. The second part connects to the first housing such that the parts connect together with the plug inserted into the gap. Upon connecting to the first housing, the second part disengages the second housing from the first housing and moves the second housing toward the first housing such that the sleeve contact moves with the second housing away from the clamp until the clamp moves over the contact segments and presses the contact segments onto the plug.

  • Patent number: 7183961
Abstract: A system for converting analog video signals to digital video signals receives an analog video signal that generates a reference horizontal synchronization signal. A phase-locked loop receives the reference horizontal synchronization signal and generates a pixel clock signal and a horizontal synchronization signal from the reference horizontal synchronization signal. An analog-to-digital converter converts the analog video signals to digital video signals. Differences between the measured values of the sampling of a test line of adjacent pixels are formed and phase parameters of the different phase positions are generated by summation of these differences. A phase position of the video signal from the phase parameters is determined, and the phase position is determined with the set phase position, and based on the comparison the set phase is changed.

  • Patent number: 7179331
Abstract: The invention presented here relates to a crystal growing equipment. It is equipped in general with a resistance heater for heating a melt (13) as well as with field coils, which generate alternating magnetic field in a crucible, with which flows can be induced in the melt (13). The invention is so designed that the resistance heaters are also devised to function as the field coils, that is, they are built of a hollow cylindrical body (1), in which, by means of a surrounding slit (2) which winds around it, a spiral-shaped single layer current path is formed. This has the advantage that the current needed for the electrical heating in the equipment is also used for the generation of the magnetic field. Thus, neither separate field coils nor a separate current supply is necessary. Further, the resistance heater, which serves as the field coil arranged as a coil array, is high temperature resistant and surrounds the immediate hot core zone of the equipment and thus the region of the melt.

  • Patent number: 7180907
Abstract: To transmit an anisochronic data stream on an isochronic transmission route with a plurality of channels over a transmission network, a number of channels is reserved by the transmitter before beginning the transmission, wherein the sum of the transmission capacities of the reserved channels just exceeds the bandwidth of the asynchronous data stream. During the course of transmission, the data of the anisochronic data stream are formed into packets; each packet is transmitted over the reserved channels. After a packet has been sent, unused portions of the reserved channels are filled with filler data that is discarded at the receiver, until sufficient data are again available at the transmitter to begin transmission of the next packet.

  • Patent number: 7177884
Abstract: A method and a computer system is provided for producing a document processing order on the basis of variable, page-individual data and resource data that are applicable to a multitude of pages. Control data are contained in the document processing order and indicate which resource data are required for the document processing order. The resource data are files that are stored in at least one directory of a computer and are administered by a computer program. The computer program is used to determine the order for searching a required resource file by directory and/or by file. The directories and/or resource files are associated with freely selectable surrogate names in addition to the system names assigned in the computer. The method allows switching between a first display mode in which the resources are displayed on a display device with their surrogate names and a second display mode in which the resources are displayed on the display device with their system names.

  • Patent number: 7176544
Abstract: A pixel for detecting red and green light is a single pixel is described. The pixel comprises a deep N well formed in a P type epitaxial substrate. The pixel comprises a deep N well formed in a P type epitaxial substrate. A number of P wells, which are used as the sensor nodes, are formed in the deep N well. The use of these P wells as the sensor nodes improves the modulation transfer function. The depth of the deep N well is about equal to the depth of hole electron pairs generated by red light in silicon. The depth of the P wells is about equal to the depth of hole electron pairs generated by green light in silicon. A red/green signal is determined at each P well by determining the potentials between each of the P wells and the deep N well after a charge integration cycle with the P wells and the deep N well isolated.
