  • Publication number: 20040188992
Abstract: A gas bag module comprises a gas bag with a gas bag wall having a front wall serving as an impact surface for an occupant, where, in an inflated state of said gas bag, the front wall has a centric orifice as a transition to an indentation. The indentation is formed by restraining a center section of the gas bag wall during inflation and preventing the center section from moving freely. The orifice is surrounded by a stabilizer defined by a closed ring in a region of the orifice and the stabilizer is a part separate from the gas bag wall.

  • Publication number: 20040188314
Abstract: A blister pack has a main sheet unitarily formed with an array of pockets each dimensioned to receive a respective object and a frangible foil overlying a front face of the sheet and closing the pockets so that objects in the pockets are hermetically sealed therein by the foil. A pair of guides unitarily formed with the main sheet flank the array of pockets. A protective panel having an array of holes substantially identical to the array of pockets overlies the foil and is displaceable in the guides between a rest position with the holes at least partially offset from the pockets and the panel blocking the pockets and a dispensing position with the holes aligned with the pockets. A spring web unitarily formed with the sheet and with the panel urges the panel into the rest position.

  • Patent number: 6797962
Abstract: An electrostatic corrector for eliminating the chromatic aberration of particle lenses, includes a corrector having a straight optical axis and an electrostatic quadrupole for allocating to the objective lens. Two corrector pieces are positioned behind the quadrupole, along the optical axis in the direction of radiation. Each corrector piece has three electrical quadrupole fields with an overlying circular lens field. The quadrupole fields, however, are rotated 90° about the optical axis in relation to each other. This arrangement is adjusted so that the astigmatic first image of one sectional view lies in one corrector piece and the astigmatic first image perpendicular thereto, of the other sectional view, lies in the other corrector piece, with another electrostatic quadrupole being located on the output side.
