Abstract: A belt buckle assembly has at least one traction cable secured to a belt buckle. The traction cable has two free ends and a middle portion connecting the free ends. The buckle assembly comprises an end piece attached to the traction cable for vehicle-fixed mounting of the traction cable, and a holding part surrounding the traction cable. The holding part is arranged between the end piece and the belt buckle, and holds the traction cable in a deflected position.
Abstract: An apparatus (20) includes a cover cap (1) for an airbag unit accommodated in a steering wheel (20) and a frame part (3) for accommodating the airbag unit. The cover cap (1) has a body consisting of synthetic material, an actuating surface (8), an outer edge portion (18), and an integrally molded flexible web (2). The cover cap (1) is arranged for movement against an elastic return force (10) of the cover cap (1) thereby actuating horn contacts (9) in the actuating surface (8). The outer edge portion (18) of the cover cap (1) is located opposite and spaced apart from a corresponding surface (12) of the frame part (3). The flexible web (2) of the cover cap (1) extends toward the corresponding surface (12) of the frame part (3) for preventing dust and humidity from penetrating the steering wheel (20).
Abstract: An electric circuit board tester comprises a contact board (1) configured as a circuit board and contact elements on a testing side, for example its upper side, which can be connected to test points on the circuit board to be tested. The other side of the contact board has contact points (4) electrically connected to the contact elements via conductors (3). Electronic units (8) are releasably secured to the side of the contact board (1) comprising the contact points, such that a physical connection to the contact board (1) and an electrical connection between the electronic units (8) and the contact points (4) are simultaneously achieved.
Abstract: A headrest intended to be mounted to a backrest of a vehicle seat includes a headrest pad with an impact surface for the head of an occupant, a base body which has a cavity and a support by which said headrest is adapted to be secured to a vehicle seat backrest, and an exchangeable gas bag module which is at least partially inserted into said cavity of said base body. The gas bag module forms a unit of a gas bag and a gas generator adapted to inflate the gas bag in the case of restraint and having a module pad which at least partially forms the headrest pad of the headrest.

Abstract: An air bag with an adjustable gas outlet port is disclosed. The cross-section of the gas outlet port is limited to a maximum value. The size of the gas outlet port determines a flow cross-section and thus a maximum possible gas outlet rate, which is thus limited to a predeterminable value. The value of the gas outlet cross-section is not altered during the restraint action. The value of the gas outlet cross-section is adjusted optimally to a respective occupant already before the air bag is inflated.

Abstract: A method is provided, which comprises the following steps: Firstly, a profiled material of aluminum is prepared. Then, a profiled piece of predetermined length is produced by cutting the profiled material to length. This profiled piece is then inserted into a press. Abstract: A link chain for a continuously variable cone pulley gear whose link pins connecting the individual chain links 1,2; 11,12 are formed as pairs of rocker members 25. The end faces of the rocker members 25 transfer the friction forces between the cone pulleys and the link chain. The rocker members are secured at least in part by retaining elements 20,33 against moving sideways out of the recesses in the chain links. One retaining plate 20,33 is allocated to at least the outside chain links of the chain defining the chain width. The retaining plate 20,33 is mounted on the outside of the outer chain link and is fixed on the rocker members associated with the chain link with a clamping seat 28-31; 44-47 which leaves the rocker faces free. The structural unit formed from at least one retaining plate 20,33 and the associated rocker members has a design which allows a change in the spacing of these rocker members in the chain longitudinal direction.
Abstract: A compact belt tensioner for use in an occupant restraint system near an end of the webbing fixed to the vehicle body is disclosed. A piston/cylinder linear drive has a pair of opposed pistons and an expansion chamber with a pyrotechnic charge between the pistons. Each piston has an outer end shaped as a webbing engagement member. The belt webbing is looped around the engagement members between the fixed end of the belt and a deflector element mounted on the vehicle body. When the pyrotechnic charge is activated the pistons are driven outwardly, forming a belt loop the length of which is four times the piston stroke.

Abstract: For regulating the pressure in a pressure chamber, in particular in a pneumatic brake apparatus for a web-type recording medium, an actual pressure is set in the pressure chamber dependent on an actual angle of rotation of a rotary valve. The actual angle of rotation of the rotary valve and the actual pressure in the pressure chamber are acquired. A target pressure and a target angle of rotation allocated to this target pressure are predetermined, and a pressure deviation between the actual pressure and the target pressure are determined, as is a deviation of the angle of rotation between the actual angle of rotation and the target angle of rotation. An adjusting unit sets the angle of rotation at the rotary valve, first dependent on the deviation of the angle of rotation and then dependent on the pressure deviation. Furthermore, a sensor for acquiring the angle of rotation is specified.
