Abstract: The present invention is directed towards systems and methods for providing classification of an encrypted network packet for performing QoS and acceleration techniques. Encrypted packets may be classified by a first classifier at a first portion of a network stack of a device as corresponding to a first predetermined application, and an application identifier may be included with the packet. In some embodiments, the packets may be decrypted in an order dependent on a first classification of the encrypted network packet. After decryption, packets may be reclassified as corresponding to a second predetermined application by a second classifier operating at a second portion of a network stack of the device above the first portion. Thus, network performance may be enhanced and optimized by providing QoS and acceleration engines with packet- or data-specific information corresponding to the application, while avoiding inefficiencies due to a lack of prioritization of decryption.

Abstract: A volumetric image of a space is acquired from an imaging system. The space includes an object of interest and another object, and the volumetric image includes data representing the object of interest and the other object. A two-dimensional radiograph of the space is acquired from the imaging system. The two-dimensional radiograph of the space includes data representing the object of interest and the other object. Abstract: In a method for controlling virtual keyboards using an electronic device, a first virtual keyboard, a second virtual keyboard, and a third virtual keyboard are preset, and the first virtual keyboard is preset to be a default virtual keyboard. When the electronic device enters a character input mode, the default virtual keyboard is invoked. A tilt direction and a tilt angle of the electronic device are detected. When the tilt direction is left and the tilt angle is greater than a predetermined angle, the default virtual keyboard is switched to the second virtual keyboard. When the tilt direction is right and the tilt angle is greater than the predetermined angle, the default virtual keyboard is switched to the third virtual keyboard.

Abstract: Plasma is generated using elemental hydrogen, a weak oxidizing agent, and a fluorine containing gas. An inert gas is introduced to the plasma downstream of the plasma source and upstream of a showerhead that directs gas mixture into the reaction chamber where the mixture reacts with the high-dose implant resist. The process removes both the crust and bulk resist layers at a high strip rate, and leaves the work piece surface substantially residue free with low silicon loss.

Abstract: The embodiments herein relate to methods and apparatus for electroplating one or more materials onto a substrate. In many cases the material is a metal and the substrate is a semiconductor wafer, though the embodiments are no so limited. Typically, the embodiments herein utilize a channeled plate positioned near the substrate, creating a cross flow manifold defined on the bottom by the channeled plate, on the top by the substrate, and on the sides by a cross flow confinement ring. During plating, fluid enters the cross flow manifold both upward through the channels in the channeled plate, and laterally through a cross flow side inlet positioned on one side of the cross flow confinement ring. The flow paths combine in the cross flow manifold and exit at the cross flow exit, which is positioned opposite the cross flow inlet. These combined flow paths result in improved plating uniformity.

Abstract: Dental imaging systems include an optical scanner that scans one or more interrogation beams across a portion of at least one tooth to produce a dentally modulated light flux associated with light scattering, absorption, or other interaction of the interrogation beam and a tooth interior. The dentally modulated light flux is detected and processed to produce picture information associated with the tooth. Interrogation wavelengths between 800 nm and 1800 nm can be used to provide images suitable for diagnosis and assessment of demineralization or other defects. Interrogation beams at one or more wavelengths can be used. Multiple detectors can be situated to receive dentally modulated light fluxes at different wavelengths or dentally modulated light fluxes with different directions or different locations. Markers at or on a tooth can be used to for depth determination. Index matching to the tooth can improve image quality.

  • Publication number: 20140185753
Abstract: Some embodiments of the invention provide a mobile cargo inspection system mounted on a vehicle chassis type which does not include rails that extend from near the front of the vehicle to near the back. As such, detection components may be placed between the front and rear axles of the vehicle without penetrating radiation having to pass through a chassis rail before reaching the cargo to be inspected. As a result, the weight of the vehicle-mounted cargo inspection system may be more evenly distributed from the front of the vehicle to the back, and from one side of the vehicle to the other, thus making the system easier to operate, safer, and less costly to maintain than conventional systems.

  • Patent number: 8769453
Abstract: Disclosed is an improved method, system, and computer program product for preparing multiple levels of semiconductor substrates for three-dimensional IC integration. Some embodiments utilize the process and design models to check and fabricate the insulating dielectric layer (IDL) separating the first and the second film stacks on separate substrates and then prepare the surface of the IDL to receive an additional layer of semiconductor substrate for further fabrication of the chips. Yet some other embodiments further employ the design and process models to ensure the IDL and the semiconductor substrate are sufficiently flat, or are otherwise satisfactory, so the three-dimensional integrated circuits meet the reliability, manufacturability, yield, or performance requirements. Yet some other embodiments further employ design and process models to place the vias connecting the multiple film stacks.

Abstract: An ophthalmic method for determining a relationship between aphakic ocular power and estimated effective lens position (ELP) of an intraocular lens (IOL) to be implanted in a patient's eye. • Patent number: 8768074
Abstract: A system and method for the identification and analysis of cadence pattern is disclosed. The method uses previous and current fields to generate the difference between the field values. The difference of these values along with the field relations is passed to the state machine to generate the state of the top and bottom fields. Based on the top and bottom state the cadence signature is generated and by using the Fourier analysis the principle frequency of repeated cadence pattern signature sequence is identified. Each of the cadence signatures present in the cadence pattern signature sequence is decoded to calculate the pull-down value of the cadence pattern. The pull down value then gives the actual cadence pattern.
