  • Patent number: 12203746
Abstract: A rotary encoder is incorporated in an annular space formed between a hollow rotating shaft and an encoder case. The rotary encoder has an annular printed wiring substrate, a plurality of mounting substrates that are outward from the printed wiring substrate in the radial direction and are arranged in the circumferential direction, and inter-substrate wiring cables bridged between the printed wiring substrate and each of the mounting substrates in the radial direction. Power supply to the mounting substrates and signal transmission and reception between the mounting substrates can be accomplished without routing around the wiring cables. • Patent number: 12204954
Abstract: Techniques in placement of compute and memory for accelerated deep learning provide improvements in one or more of accuracy, performance, and energy efficiency. An array of processing elements comprising a portion of a neural network accelerator performs flow-based computations on wavelets of data. Each processing element comprises a compute element to execute programmed instructions using the data and a router to route the wavelets. The routing is in accordance with virtual channel specifiers of the wavelets and controlled by routing configuration information of the router. A software stack determines placement of compute resources and memory resources based on a description of a neural network. The determined placement is used to configure the routers including usage of the respective colors. The determined placement is used to configure the compute elements including the respective programmed instructions each is configured to execute.

  • Publication number: 20250021447
Abstract: Protecting configuration data in a clustered container system may include, in some embodiments, protecting an ETCD data store in a Kubernetes cluster. A data storage management system addresses the unique needs of protecting an ETCD data store of a target Kubernetes cluster, as well as protecting non-ETCD data payloads. The illustrative data storage management system defines ETCD as a unique kind of workload. ETCD protection is integrated within the data storage management system, which automatically creates data structures and resources within the system for, and provides special-purpose features to protect, ETCD contents and associated security certificates. One of the special-purpose features deploys a temporary data transfer agent within the target Kubernetes cluster to safeguard an ETCD snapshot and transmit its contents, along with the security certificates, to a backup infrastructure that operates outside of the target Kubernetes cluster.

  • Publication number: 20250023458
Abstract: A photovoltaic inverter and a control method and apparatus therefor, and a readable storage medium, which relate to the technical field of information. The control method is applied to a multi-channel photovoltaic inverter. Separate power limitation is simultaneously performed on the power of the whole machine of the inverter and the power of each channel of the inverter, such that there is no need to fix the operation power of a single channel, and it is only necessary to determine whether the operation power exceeds a safety range. Compared with previous control methods for a photovoltaic inverter, when the same input energy is acquired, the maximum power that matches the whole machine is acquired first, such that the whole machine is prevented from being damaged.

  • Publication number: 20250018105
Abstract: Some contrast injection systems use relatively-large inner diameter tubing to inject contrast fluid into a patient. The contrast injection system of the embodiments presented herein takes advantage of the elastic properties of tubing to “pre-stress” smaller inner diameter tubing into larger inner diameter tubing prior to injecting contrast into the patient. As such, the contrast injection system of these embodiments can reduce the risk of system-pressure-limit-induced injection interruption, improve maximum flow rate, and reduce the use of plastics.

  • Publication number: 20250021155
Abstract: A power management system with differentiated power scaling including multiple activity monitors and a differentiated power manager. Each activity monitor counts performance benefit estimation events of each of multiple devices to determine performance benefit estimate values, each being a measure of relative power utilization efficiency of a corresponding device. The differentiated power manager periodically evaluates the performance benefit estimate values and dynamically adjusts relative power provided to each device to achieve differentiated power scaling based on the performance benefit estimate values. Additional power available during a higher performance mode may be distributed only to those devices with higher performance benefit estimate values. During any mode of operation, the power provided to those devices with lower performance benefit estimate values may be redirected to those devices with higher performance benefit estimate values.
