Abstract: Embodiments described herein pertain to systems and methods for imaging. An imaging system may include a castellated optical element, a CMOS image sensor, and color filtering elements. The CMOS image sensor may include focus areas, a line-scan area, a 2D imaging area, and look-ahead gaps. The imaging system may be configured scan and capture bi-directionally, forward-focused brightfield and fluorescence images of one or more slides comprising at least one biological material.
Abstract: Systems described herein may dynamically add one or more proxy agents to a cloud data storage system to process an information management job, such as restore job. Upon completion of the job or at some other appropriate interval, the system can power down and decommission the proxy agents and/or the virtual machines on which the proxies reside according to a cleanup schedule (e.g., at hourly or minute intervals). The system takes into account currently existing proxies or virtual machines when processing a restore request to determine the need for new proxies to service the restore request. In this manner the system can save costs and computing resources through efficient virtual machine deployment and retirement.
Abstract: Systems, methods, and devices for automatic signal detection in an RF environment are disclosed. A sensor device in a nodal network comprises at least one RF receiver, a generator engine, and an analyzer engine. The at least one RF receiver measures power levels in the RF environment and generates FFT data based on power level data. The generator engine calculates a power distribution by frequency of the RF environment in real time or near real time, including a first derivative and a second derivative of the FFT data. The analyzer engine creates a baseline based on statistical calculations of the power levels measured in the RF environment for a predetermined period of time, and identifies at least one signal based on the first derivative and the second derivative of the FFT data in at least one conflict situation from comparing live power distribution to the baseline of the RF environment.
Abstract: A method includes determining skin characteristics in a region of a patient. An in-treatment optical scan is performed on a region of a patient, wherein the in-treatment optical scan comprises a near infrared (NIR) energy source. A plurality of detected signals is detected from the optical scan. The skin characteristics are filtered out from the plurality of detected signals. Skeletal anatomy positioning associated with the region is determined from the plurality of signals that is filtered.
Abstract: Methods for the rapid detection of the presence or absence of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A and influenza B in a biological or non-biological sample are described. The methods can include performing an amplifying step, a hybridizing step, and a detecting step. Furthermore, primers and probes targeting SARS-CoV-2, influenza A, and influenza B and kits are provided that are designed for the detection of SARS-CoV-2, influenza A and influenza B.

Abstract: Embodiments described include systems and methods of an encrypted cache. An embedded browser of a client application executing on a client device may provide access to a network application accessed via the client application. The embedded browser may detect an event at the client device that causes the network application to send or request application data. The embedded browser may access a copy of the application data from encrypted cache of the embedded browser. The encrypted cache may be maintained for the user and store application data for network application(s) accessed by the user. The embedded browser may use the cached application data for establishing or updating a user interface of the network application for display at the client device.
Abstract: Devices, systems and methods implement a synchronized, multi-channel wireless network having a low-power, wireless wide-area network (LPWAN) architecture that makes narrowband radio frequency channels useful for Machine-to-Machine (M2M) and Internet of Things (IoT) applications, and is scalable. A control stack controls delivery of API client datagrams to nodes via base transceivers using forward channels and nodes respond using reverse channels. Forward and reverse channels are synchronized and grouped into sectors or areas of coverage. Forward channel framing structures and node processes allow nodes to remain in inactive, low power state for long periods of time, and consider large numbers of possible RF channels in a time-efficient and energy-efficient manner.

An apparatus includes a processor and a memory that includes code that is executable to receive a request to perform a processing task, transmit at least a portion of the processing task to a plurality of user node devices, receive results of the at least a portion of the processing task from at least one of the plurality of user node devices, and transmit the received results.
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a mounting platform for use in an equipment rack having a frame with a pair of spaced apart vertical frame elements. The mounting platform supports at least one external device adjacent a rear area of the equipment rack without interfering with use of internal device mounting locations within the equipment rack. The mounting platform makes use of a gate panel which is configured to support the external device thereon. At least one hinge is used to support the gate panel in a vertical orientation from one of the vertical frame elements. The gate panel is movable between a closed position and an open position. In the closed position the gate panel is positioned parallel to a line extending between the vertical frame elements and supports the external device adjacent to the rear area of the equipment rack.

Abstract: An antenna structure for a metal-cased wireless device which is largely impervious to interference when held in the hand includes a radiation portion, a feeding source, a first grounding portion, a second grounding portion, and a third grounding portion. The grounding portions are sequentially arranged at intervals, and all are electrically connected to the metal frame. The first end of the radiation portion is connected to the second grounding portion and the third grounding portion, the second end of the radiation portion is connected to the first grounding portion. The feeding source is electrically connected to the radiation portion and the first grounding portion and feeds current into the antenna structure. The present disclosure also provides a wireless communication device with the antenna structure.

Abstract: A cabinet lock secures a door panel to a cabinet frame and includes a latching component and an electromechanical component. The latching component has a latch member reciprocally translatable between a locked orientation to secure the door panel to the cabinet frame and an unlocked orientation to free the door panel from the cabinet frame. The electromechanical component includes an actuator and drive member. Powering the actuator causes the drive member to translate the latch member to the unlocked orientation. A drive member position sensor may emit a signal indicative of the position of the latch member. The electromechanical component may be retrofit-able to a latching component of a pre-existing mechanical cabinet lock.

A first and second capacitor assembly couples the RFID component layer to the inductive component layer. The combined structure is adhered to a spacer layer. The antenna segment radiates a plane wave when the combined structure is coupled to a ground plane.

The methods may include premixing a palm oil with an acid to chelate metals and form a reaction mixture, and subjecting the reaction mixture to hydrodynamic cavitation mixing for less than 1 second.

The focal plane array further includes a readout circuit configured to perform a readout to obtain the image data from each of the plurality of detectors. The imaging device further includes a processing circuit configured to perform a verification of the imaging device based at least on the image data. Related methods and systems are also provided.
